Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

Kat I had a traumatic birth was DS2 and afterwards was horrific. I have already seen a consultant and discussed labour and given a plan but im sure things will change along the way!

Katgrant30 · 23/03/2014 13:10

Hi Something - did I see earlier in thread u got a BFP? Congrats! - that is so true what u say about having a care plan, and consultant led care etc.

We had a debrief with the head consultant some months after the event... He was very reassuring and confirmed that if there was a next time it would all be very different (planned section done by consultant, private room afterwards to recover). Also me and my family will be much better prepared ourselves!

Best of luck
Kx

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 13:12

Thank you had faint but pink lines for a few days now. Not going to believe it until its a obvious bfp iyswim.

I will be having a vba2c ( vaginal birth after 2 sections)

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 13:12

Though still no sign of ERTD

lala5 · 23/03/2014 14:31

RPopz told my husband about your pineapple cup - he's now trying to find something exotic I can pee into.

Did I mention he's weird?

lala5 · 23/03/2014 14:39

Kat and Daphne hellooo! Welcome! Nice to meet you

kat sounds like last time was a bit traumatic, this is a nice place with nice people so you're in good company x

something crossing fingers for you!

daphne also very scared, so don't worry you're not alone!

Watching crazy movie called This is the End - Seth Rogan. OMG this is weird...

lala5 · 23/03/2014 14:40

ps I second something as nominee for SOTM (shagger of the month). New award for thread?

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 14:53

Ooo so I bring shagging like something and SOTM Grin

Northernexile · 23/03/2014 15:01

Afternoon all! I joined the last thread briefly, but had a bfp this week and I'm off to join the November bus. Good luck everyone, wishing speedy bfps all round!

RPopz · 23/03/2014 15:35

Hi Kat and Daphne!

Lala - we all gotta get our kicks where we can! ;-)

Something, maybe you should get that on a tshirt? Grin

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 15:47

Hahaha imagine seeing someone walking round with that on their t-shirt Grin

Katgrant30 · 23/03/2014 16:05

Hi Rpopz & Lala - thanks for the welcome! Great to see all the bfps... V reassuring :)

Congrats on the SOTM award something!
Me and DH are rubbish - prob manage it about 5x month if we are lucky...

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 23/03/2014 16:26

Hi Kat. I think 5x per month sounds perfectly ambitious normal. There is no contest for SOTM award but if something definitely has a BFP then maybe we're all in with a chance for next month. I for one, am not competing with your efforts Something!

Congratulations Northern and hi Daphne.

I PIA breastmilk container (will not be used to store any further breastmilk). Very unglamorous. I would like some fruit-based receptacle.

I also had a horrible labour first time round but I will confront my demons about that once I get a BFP which hangs around. I will definitely be putting more thought into birthing plan next time around.

lala5 · 23/03/2014 16:49

northern congratulations! Hopefully see you on the other side ;)

ROC - Receptacle Of Choice...?

My ROC: 'The Sanctuary' bubble bath lid. Ha ha! Bit posh to pee in

lala5 · 23/03/2014 16:52

OH MY GOD!

Just told my dh about ROC and he said 'Receptacle of choice - for shagging in!!?' Noooooooo! That's a whole new level of gross!

somethingwittynot · 23/03/2014 16:56

When were not ttc its a few times a week to a few times a month. Just step up the game when needed lol

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 23/03/2014 16:57

I assume your sanctuary bubble bath is bigger than my travel size...?

ohfourfoxache · 23/03/2014 16:59

Wonder how long it will be before a poster says that her ROC is a penis beaker Grin

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 23/03/2014 17:09

Gross Fox. There may be some contamination issue Grin.

Minion · 23/03/2014 17:20

No no no! You use your penisbeaker only to dip your penis in... Hahah, that thread still makes me giggle.
I'm still peeing into a take away dish. PIATD.

Katgrant30 · 23/03/2014 17:33

Yikes I feel I need a ROC now... Do people really not just poas these days?!? :)

I keep promising myself I will stop my poas habit.. But every month I cannot resist temptation. Please someone stop me doing it, unless I am actually overdue!

ZylaB · 23/03/2014 17:44
