The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Eek feels like I've been away ages!

Funky your upcoming hol sounds amazing!

congrats MRS Barking! Did you get a temp dip yesterday? I find that more indicative than the rise (which happens gradually for me). I really like that motto of dealing with 'what IS'.

Feather ditto what Bunny (hope you feel better soon!) said - I felt much less stressed about ttc when I knew where we stood.

Tiger bless Mr Tiger! That is a good idea worth adding to our ritual!

Boodle good luck!!! Hope you start to feel better soon!

And WELCOME! to Beaky and Bushy Smile

Beaky I used to get the rage - it was usually prompted by something baby/bump related. I think it was at the time when we had been trying for so long but didn't know why it wasn't happening for us. Now that we know our issues (and our solutions) the rage has subsided into the more usual depressed/crying turns.

Bushy I don't plan on telling anyone at work anything. Hopefully I can get away with it! We aren't telling anyone, not even our parents! But it is a major pain that all of our post comes to my work and the letters from our clinic have massive PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL stamped across the front along with their return address which makes it blatantly obvious what it's about Sad

Hi to all other Berries - hope you are all well Smile

HampshireBlues · 26/02/2014 20:19

Boodle fingers crossed for stiming; glad that down-regging has been 'successful'.

Welcome Bushy you're in the right place here!

Bunnies, I have been laughing aloud (thank you I needed that today) much the bemusement of DH and the 'lodger'

Will catch up on all other news when I can get to my PC - a lot has happened since I last visited / posted!

CatsCantFlyFast · 26/02/2014 20:21

Boodle, congrats on getting through
'Phase 1'. Am stalking and seeing positive vibes

CatsCantFlyFast · 26/02/2014 20:21

Sending

barkingtreefrog · 26/02/2014 20:39

Ditto what merk said, I can see positive vibes all around you Boodle Grin . Wtf are you injecting into yourself to make that happen?! Shock .

BoodleDoo · 26/02/2014 20:43

Sounds like you might be the one injecting things there, Barking if you're seeing shiny Berry auras! Grin

barkingtreefrog · 26/02/2014 20:57

I can see you floating down the yellow brick road with your feet hardly touching the ground and little berry fairies in different coloured balls of light flying all around you.

Is that not what is happening?

BoodleDoo · 26/02/2014 21:16

If the yellow brick road is my floor, and if the little berry fairies in different colours are my selection of books for marking (red, yellow, green and blue) then yes. That is EXACTLY what is happening.

Grin
RevoltingPeasant · 26/02/2014 21:48

Hello bushy is that a Hot Fuzz reference I detect there???

Somebody give me a massive smack, please. I am ooooh possibly 3dpo and yesterday I had "implantation cramping". Hmm I do know this isn't physically possible, btw.....

Boodle sounds like you are trooping along that road. One day at a time and you will get there!

Barking FX4FUFC - !

BoodleDoo · 26/02/2014 21:53

I wonder who owns that number plate? It would be a good gift for a Berry!!!

beakybeak · 26/02/2014 22:09

Great news that downregging was successful Boodle, good luck with your next phase. Loving the multicoloured fairy book type things Grin

RP it's so difficult to not read into things like that isn't it. I had a bit if spotting today then it stopped. I'm ignoring it...

Hi Blue, thanks for the welcome! I think I'm just irrational to be honest haha.

Win, sorry about things being so difficult for you, I hope you get a bfp v.soon.

RevoltingPeasant · 26/02/2014 23:43

Last week I followed - no joke - a van for TTC heating. The car next to it had a licence ending in BFP.

Is that a sign or what???

BoodleDoo · 26/02/2014 23:50

God damn BFP cars! This might be before your time, but I have a list of stupid things of which I am jealous; BFP cars are right up there!

greatbigbushybeard · 27/02/2014 00:13

Rp- it most certainly is a hot fuzz reference! Love that film. I think you must surely be onto good things with all those symbols around!

Lol at the Dow egging, don't think i'll be able to look at coffee the same way again!! The sheepish foxes gave me a giggle too.

Win- you seem so lovely and coping so well, must be a shitty time.

We have our fc planning meeting tom morning, feel quite hopeful and upbeat about it. Dh is lying in bed next to me watching the clinic's video and wincing out loud at surgical sperm retrieval!! Think he's a bit gah at how clinical and scary it is..maybe not that convinced about it. [Hmm]

Parsley2506 · 27/02/2014 00:17

I want that number plate!

boodle excellent progress, keeping all my digits and toes crossed for you!

win what barking says is true. You won't feel better straight away but I promise you faithfully the loss gets easier to cope with. The main thing I've learnt is that you have to accept and allow with every emotion that crops up, and there will be a lot! Feel no guilt or shame for the off colour ones, it's all part of the process. I tested with a hpt weekly till it went, that was enough for me! Big un-MN hugs for you

CatsCantFlyFast · 27/02/2014 07:16

Boodle the moon, the sheep, the BFP cars... none of it will bother you v soon Grin

Barking your chart looks better this morn. You are so going to get pg and look like an instadiffer immediately after your wedding Wink FX for you

Good luck for everyone else (cycles, planning meetings, 2WW-ers etc) - on phone so unable to scroll back and name check properly

barkingtreefrog · 27/02/2014 07:27

Ok merk that's freaky, I was just about to come on here and ask you to look at my chart because I was upset it hadn't gone above coverline this morning!!!
It normally shoots up after O, but I did have a dip yesterday and a slight rise today, do you think I was right about O being yesterday even though I haven't gone above cover line today?

CatsCantFlyFast · 27/02/2014 08:22

I would be really surprised if you don't get a higher temp tomorrow. Its perfectly normal to see a gradual climb to above cover line temps rather than a single jump. The dip would indicate O to me and i would expect FF will agree tomorrow Grin

barkingtreefrog · 27/02/2014 08:56

merk, thanks, makes me feel a little better!

bushy let us know what the FC says.

rp that's just a sign - it's your turn for a bfp! Grin . I had to do a speed awareness course recently and the course provider was TTC. Freaked me out a little when the letter came through with TTC stamped on the front!!

winohhh · 27/02/2014 10:12

Thanks barking, parsley, bushy, beaky. Feeling okay today, and haven't pee'd on a hpt. Think I'll hold off til the weekend. It'll be 1.5 weeks since the erpc then, so hopefully it'll be much lighter. All the bleeding has stopped now, which makes me feel more normal.

Boodle, good news about the down regging, how has stimming gone?

Good luck with the FC planning meeting bushy, let us know how it goes.

Barking, I've only temped one cycle before this one, and it was the one I got pregnant. My temp dipped before ovulation and took 2 days to get above the cover line. Hope it's a good sign for your cycle!

FeatherFeather11 · 27/02/2014 11:02

Hello all! On my phone and it's not letting me scroll back beyond the page we're on - annoying.

boodle hope all going well with the down regging. Have everything crossed for you that it will be a successful round!

barking professor merk has spoken. Now get busy! Wink that post-wedding FUFC is on the horizon.

rp 2ww is the worst. Fx for you!

Had a really interesting acupuncture session yesterday. Having looked at my temps now and had a gander at my chart, she conceded that I must have ovulated on my own. Then we got chatting about the hsg - basically if the tube is clear, I still have to take the risk of another ectopic and I'm terrified of that. Not sure what to do if the tube is clear - more clomid? Stay on the acu and herbs while on the ivf waiting list? What would you all do? I know Tuesday is not far off and that there's a chance the decision will be made for me, but I'd be interested to know.

And this is the interesting bit that made me think of the Berries who have low AMH/ high fsh (or is it the other way round?) We got onto the subject of vitex. She had been trying for FIVE years before getting her bfp - many ivf, clomid, injectibles attempts and was finally told her only option was donor eggs. She was 42 at the time and she had low egg reserves etc. so she went and put herself on vitex after doing some research (she wasn't an acupuncturist or herbalist at that stage) - three months of using it and bam, she was pregnant! She couldn't believe it and her son is now 10 years old. It's the reason she got into herbs and acupuncture and I just wanted to let those of you in a similar boat know in case it helps.

FeatherFeather11 · 27/02/2014 11:04

Also, wino It takes time. I have good days and bad, but as the old cliches goes, time is indeed a healer. It's only been four months since my ectopic but it almost feels a lifetime ago.

beakybeak · 27/02/2014 12:49

Fingers crossed for you Barking Smile

Oh Feather, it sounds like a stressful time for you with a tricky decision. Do you know if your area has a long IVF waiting list? Is Tuesday your HSG? I think I would be thinking of going straight to IVF as I want to get on with things but I can understand why that's a big decision.

Interesting comments on vitex there. Btw, holland and Barrett have really big tubs of agnus castus reduced to £1.99 at the moment. I bough some as it's supposed to regulate your hormones really well and I have awful trouble with spotting etc and ov quite early. I'm a bit scared to take it though.

FeatherFeather11 · 27/02/2014 13:32

Thanks beaky - I guess I just feel IVF is my 'final frontier' that it probably won't work for me (based on nothing in particular) and that we'll end up childless. Think I need to change the way I think about it.

Just had a call from the fc - they've moved my hsg to next Tuesday 11 March as the doc has been off sick for two weeks and don't think he'll be back by this Tuesday. Hmm - just need to remind myself that two weeks is not long to wait and I shouldn't be a spoilt brat about it. The annoying thing is that they've said we shouldn't Dtd till then. Smack bag in the middle of my cycle! Grrr.

I'd see a herbalist if you're thinking of taking vitex - it's meant to be really powerful stuff so you should get some professional advice on it first.

Parsley2506 · 27/02/2014 13:39

feather that is interesting! I started taking vitex/agnus castus the month I got my BFP. God knows if it actually played a part but I am taking it again now although nothing yet after 2 cycles post MC so I'm guessing it isn't necessarily the miracle herb I thought it was! Will stick with it for now tho.

You've got a tricky decision there. I don't know much about the stats for repeat EPs, if the odds are the same as they would be for anyone I'd probably stick with what you're doing for now as it seems to be having positive effects and keep clomid as a back up if the IVF list is really long?
