afternoon. I didn't realise the magic number is 10!! Gees, I thought we'd done amazing to get to 6 this month.
I sometimes use cbfm and that has told me before that I ov'd day 8 once, so I agree, jump him in case the symptoms are real.
I have glugged 3 glasses of water, two green teas (blergh) as I didn't realise this helps with the goey stuff.
I'm not surprised tho as water seams to be the cure for everything. not enjoying all the pee trips tho.

minion - when in doubt DTD!! When doing the sticks I have had smileys on CD7 and CD9 so it is totally possible to ov that early.

Not sure where that magic number came from saznut, it was mentioned somewhere further up the thread but for me that is more than every other day even so not sure I can get there!

juniper the non-finisher is annoying cos you put the effort in for nothing but can't be help. My DH has had that a few times and I feel bad for him.

Viriods I think ten might just be the magic number (as long as no other fertility issues at play) as I just checked my app and last month we dtd ten times (plus two can't-be-bothered-bjs) and I got my BFP. Coincidence maybe?

Sorry dulcet I meant it in jest. dont do it if you don't want to, if it's too late in the cycle it won't make any difference, you're either preg already or not by this stage in your cycle. My dp is really disappointed we've gone from dtd every 1-2 days to only once in the last week.

The ten times per month came from my reading of Zita West. It's an effort isn't it!

Getting pre-ERTD twinges on cd23 so not sure I can be bothered to try again tonight!

She says if you do it 10 times per month on average women conceive within 5 months. I can copy the table if you're interested. I kinda like having a goal but bloody hell I get so tired from work, it's a real effort to prioritise time in the sack!

So if i am reading this right it means that we are meant to be dtd 10 times in a month geez louise thats a lot!!

When i got my Bfp, i followed the SMEP dtd quite alot

Af due next Thursday! This Twot is easy compared to the 7 weeks we've been waiting for the bleeding genetic testing results!!

Note to newbies: Had a mmc in September, baby died at 8+6 due to very obvious chromosomal abnormalities during my ERPC they took samples for genetic testing the results of those came back saying that the baby died from an extremely rare abnormality and that we would need to be tested to see if we were carriers and not ttc till we get results! So thats us in a nut shell!

10 Times a month - Wow !!

I'll deff give it a go, although when I was TTC last time we had sex twice a day for about 6 weeks - we we're both knackered but it done the job, I doubt I'd manage it now as that was 2008, I was a lot younger and enthusiastic back then.

But hey ho if he can do it without waking me up, its all good xx

I can't believe they've made you wait 8 weeks for the results, get on at them, it's really unfair for it to take this long.

10 times a cycle... I've managed 6 this month I think and ERTD is due on Fri, so I'm not sure we'll manage another.. especially since I'm bloated, crampy and gassy...

I do still think that those people who try and 'time' DTD to just the right days like me might be cocking it up for themselves every month though, because if you're wrong, you could be wrong every month... hence the 10 times a month / every other day / JSing ethos. It also keeps the sperm fresh, keep clearing out the old stuff so there are nice new ones ready when it's icing time.

I'm still on a high from DPs amazing SA results. Spoke to my Dad earlier and he congratulated me...I was cringing, but happy. Discussing my DPs sperm with my father = awkward!!!

We could and have done twice a day but for six weeks? Not a chance. Not even one week!! Fair play to you!!

Asked if DH wanted to DTD and he doesn't, thank god!! We are off the hook tonight. Just got to wait and see if it did any good, should know by next week. Ate my pineapple with a hopeful face on today.
