Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Am sulking today... I totally killed the mood last night. We were having a snuggle in bed and he said something along the lines of "if we do have a baby...blah de blah de blah".

Not that I am normally one (yeah right) to strop I said "what do you mean if?!?"

Of course OH got all apologetic and I was too pissed off to be a big girl and let it go. I am feeling a bit anxious cause of our age, we both would love to have a family and I am a bit scared our dream won't come true.

I have to say I always say 'if' not 'when' purely because I don't like to feel I'm tempting fate! But there's a big difference in the way you can say 'if' I think. I always do it with great theatre to emphasise that I really mean 'when'...

Agreed yesterday to ttc. 3rd. Big decision as dc2 was the most traumatic birth and emotionally painful experience I've ever been through and I'm petrified of a repeat!

thanks ladies in the cold light of day I know he meant "if (we are lucky enough to) have a baby". I've got a great man who is looking forward to being a daddy almost as much as I'm looking forward to being a mummy.

On another note, we are totally confused (not hard it must be said) I have ordered a bumbo for my newborn niece, it arrived today at home. It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow to work. I know this for sure cause I spoke to the delivery people, but interlink have delivered today and hermes are delivering tomorrow. oh well! We may have the first thing for our baby before they are even conceived!

Sorry I've not got much to contribute at the moment. In a bit of a no-mans land I'm afraid. The foof docs decided they don't want to fix my cervix, but I've got to go back for another camera up there in December. Nothing to stop us continuing with jsing til then, but I suspect it is in vain, though they say there isn't a problem and there is nothing to stop me getting upduff, though a year on I'm afraid I have to disagree, there clearly IS something stopping it! Guess I have to wait til Dec and go for that appointment and see what they say. So feel a bit in limbo for now.
