Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Been hit with 2 FB pg announcements since I got in, on top of DP's ex-wife's news. Why is it some days you get clobbered from all angles!

happy the concert is tomorrow and Wednesday. To be honest what will be will be, I am way past caring..... Hmm Spent the weekend feeling ill again, slept on the sofa all day yesterday and DP said if I ever take on extra stuff at work again he'll leave me as I'm just making myself ill but I keep saying yes to more stuff....
Having read the bit in the book talking about overworking and not enough relaxing time being a problem with fertility I can sort of see his point.

feather I think mine will also probably be mainly the medical history chat, but I'm hoping she will give me hope! Grin

Barking, oh my word, morning sex?! On a Monday?! On a school day?! Very unlikely to happen with me...I can barely brush my hair and dress myself properly in the morning...! (I did put my jumper on inside out this morning...)

Lady! Well done for your win! Grin I considered posting and then realised I had a drawer full of fertility lube already...!

My op is a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and I think d&c but not sure- all happened fairly quickly. Went to FC end of Nov and got referred for this nearly straight away. Scary but good.

Aquarius good luck for tomorrow; it'll be over before you know it and you'll feel good as new soon - I've never had a lap but I found the hysteroscopy was slightly painful but most of the soreness was gone by the end of the week (had it on a Tues). Will be thinking of you tomorrow & sending you good vibes Thanks

Thanks for the kind words ladies. I'm ok today - feeling positive! Had a very interesting first acupuncture meeting. No needles today, just a thorough chat. She's asked me to start temping (been putting it off for two years!) and to email her my temps for the next three mornings at 7am on Friday. She'll take a look and then tell me whether to come in that morning or not, her reasoning being that she wants to 'induce a bleed', but wants to be 100% sure I'm not pregnant (yeah, right!) - she's also asked me to do a pregnancy test that morning too. She's also suggested asking for a hysco (?) instead of hsg - does anyone know what that is?

aquarius hope all goes super smooth tomorrow. Let us know how you get on.

sid thanks, but I'm ok now - you know how it is when the blues descend and then they pass. Hoping Xmas day is ok. I plan to drink a lot of bubbles from as early as possible.

Hi ladies. I've not caught up on news yet. Will return at a later date. Just wanted to say I am back after sad news today. Went for a follow up scan at 8+1 following last weeks scan (where we saw a little heart beat) and very sadly the heart has stopped. Next step for us is to decide what's next (surgery vs. medical management).

Feather could she have been talking about a HyCoSy vs an HSG? I believe the main difference is the type of dye they use; I think I read long ago that one is an x-ray type scan (HSG) and the other is contrast fluid and the images are via ultrasound. I had a HyCoSy and TBH it didn't really bother me. You can definitely feel the tubing and also little twinges when the saline solution is squirted in but it isn't painful - just strange. Two paracetemol beforehand and it should be a breeze Cake

Gill that sounds exciting - do you know when you start the cycle? Our IVF appointment is next week Friday and I seem to be counting down the days to that rather than Christmas! Grin

sid oh, I see! Thanks for explaining. Well, I think it's too late now as the hospital rang today to ask if I could go in to sign a hsg request form tomorrow morning - they want to get a date in for feb/march so I'm not waiting around for long after I (hopefully) have two af's. I'm just going to go with it, I guess.

Temped for the first time this morning and got 36.3. Does that seem high? Hoping I can get into it all. Really, really, really want af to come....
