Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

happy ha silly me! I did know that as well from all the canapé talk!

BlindKitty · 26/12/2013 12:39

YES! It wasn't me (for a change)!!! I did actually have to go back and check though lol

BoodleDoo · 26/12/2013 13:39

Pants. Have reported it. So sorry to whom it concerns. Sad

BlindKitty · 26/12/2013 14:12

It's so easy to do though isn't it? Maybe we'll just have to use our mn names on fb?!

barkingtreefrog · 26/12/2013 14:34

Boodle, don't worry about it, anyone who actually knows me would be able to spot me a mile off anyway with all the stuff I talk about, I'm not exactly overly careful to keep any identifying information off! Although happy's post now looks like the culprit! Grin

kitty you were too late with the cotton, I managed to get loads more of the dress done this morning and all the scary fiddly bits that I was worried about messing up are pretty much sorted Smile . It's mostly finishing off, one more sewing session should do it. Grin A mate offered to help me pin so I might take her up on that and get her help to make sure the hem is all even. Also decided on more table decorations/favours although haven't run all of it past DP yet. It's made me realise how ridiculous work had got last half term. I'd decided I wasn't going to do anything to the tables at all apart from put tablecloths down, but now I've had space to think I've got all sorts of ideas for things I want to do!!

BoodleDoo · 26/12/2013 14:43

I do worry though, because it's so stoopid of me to do, and the thought of someone making that mistake with me, well, as you can imagine, it makes my blood run cold!

barkingtreefrog · 26/12/2013 15:11

Well, good job it was me not anyone else then! Smile I like to think it's anonymous and would never actually post under my real name as a username, but if I was that concerned I wouldn't be talking about all the non ttc stuff that could out me.

happylass · 26/12/2013 15:26

I agree Barking. For most of us it's highly unlikely that our first names alone would out us. It's all the other information that we choose to give that is more likely to reveal who we are. Even then an outsider would have to follow the thread religiously to put all the little clues together. Absolutely nothing to worry about Boodle.

OP posts:
BoodleDoo · 26/12/2013 16:04

Hmm...I still think my first name would do a good job of outing me but yes, it would be very unlucky to have someone who knew me reading at that exact time before there was time to get it deleted.

I like to look at the 'popular baby names' each year and in recent years at least, there's been less than 10 registrations of my first name. We are a rare breed!

barkingtreefrog · 26/12/2013 17:00

I think my first name would out me to anyone I knew based on the assumption that if you're reading this thread you're probably ttc, and (for me at least) when you're ttc you're very acutely aware of all friends who are also ttc, or even just might be, so if any of their names came up I'd immediately be trawling for clues to check if it was them!!
I'm definitely a lot more common than you though Boodle, I actually personally know two other people with the same name and surname as me!

Christmas well and truly over. Looking forward to going away on Saturday! Grin Grin Grin Grin

Bunnygirlie · 26/12/2013 20:14

Hello! Good boxing day peeps?

Where you going barking?

BlindKitty · 26/12/2013 20:35

barking well done re dresses. I loved decorating the tables! My aunty made her wedding dress and her bridesmaid. They're very dated now but imagine a big aubergine merangue with puffy sleeves! Very complicated!

boodle I've done it to merk and charming now! Bet I do it again as well! Hence why I thought it was me when happy said it!

barkingtreefrog · 26/12/2013 20:46
