Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

kuma I lost count of the amount of Thais asking the same question when we were in Thailand in may. One woman, giving me a massage, actually said she thought it was time I had babies. Erm yeh, me too lol

lady after doing my research it seems that the drugs I had was prob the reason for be getting diffed as my eggs needed maturing so can't really comment whether other people should have iui, I'm just so grateful I was given the option to find out before ivf

yorkie I still have everything crossed for you Smile

FeatherFeather11 · 21/10/2013 19:04

Ooooh, bunny where you off to? How exciting!

I'm sorry you're feeling down yorkie Flowers fx for you.

Just catching up on the thread. I'm about 5dpo and had to stay home today due to a terrible case of diarrhea! (Sorry tmi!!) - no vomming or fever though. Feeling a bit down these last few days too so haven't been on here.

Hope everyone else is well.

Gillster · 21/10/2013 19:06

Did you get your blood test results back Kuma?

Bunnygirlie · 21/10/2013 19:27

OP posts:
CharmingCats · 21/10/2013 19:56

Sounds great, bunny should be nice and warm.

Looksa as though I'll be starting clomid tomorrow. Worth googling or better not to?

happylass · 21/10/2013 20:29

Welcome back Kuma. Hoping your tour guide was psychic and you will be returning in the near future with babies!
Holiday sounds ounds lovely Bunny, am very Envy. We have 3 days in the Peak District next week which I'm sure will be lovely if it stays dry. Not so great if the weather is anything like it has been here today!!
Are all the other teacher berries on Half Term next week too? Any plans?

PuppyMummy · 22/10/2013 07:07

We did all inclusive in the summer bunny I loved it! bring on the free cocktails!

BlindKitty · 22/10/2013 07:26

CatsCantFlyFast · 22/10/2013 09:19

Yorkie any change from yesterday?

Bunny v jealous of you getting some sunshine. When do you go?

Barking im so sorry this is taking so long to sort itself out. Can you get on to your doctor as i'm sure they can help and maybe you would feel a tiny bit better if you could at least 'get back on the horse' iyswim. How was the zombie run? My friend mentioned doing it, think i would have beaten a world record as I am PETRIFIED of zombies!

RevoltingPeasant · 22/10/2013 09:19

Oooh 15th Nov - less than a month - how exciting to have the ball rolling!

Kitty can I ask, are you showing at all yet? :) When is your 12w scan, do you know?

So AF is petering out and we're girding up our loins (literally...!) to start trying again.... CD4 now so just twiddling thumbs!

I just booked TWO AND A HALF WEEKS off at Christmas. It will be officially the most annual leave I have ever taken at one time. Bliss!

RevoltingPeasant · 22/10/2013 09:22

However.... BIL and SIL and their children coming to stay on CD15-16. Given I have OV on CD17 the last two months this is Not Good Timing.

They have a real knack: last time they invited themselves came to stay was a week after we had moved house Hmm during the one of the busiest work weeks of the year for me Hmm and BIL shared his edifying opinions on women who have IVF and (shock, horror) then leave their children with 'strangers' aka childcare Hmm Hmm Hmm

So that'll be fun!!!!

BlueBirdy · 22/10/2013 15:33

Yeesh, good luck with your BIL and SIL rp (omg just realised your name ISN'T revoltingly pleasant Blush )

An 'all inclusive'! Lovely! V tempted to look into booking one for me and DH... Rainy and quite windy here. Yuk. Dogs may not get a very long walk today!

So CD7 and almost out of Conseive Plus but they don't have any at ANY of the boots I went to! So trying some Balance Activ 'fertility spray' Hmm instead. Sounds promising, i guess...

hope you are feeling better feather Thanks

BlueBirdy · 22/10/2013 16:17

charming I thought i would quickly google 'clomid' and that was almost an hour ago! Sounds really good for some people - lots of luck to you! Does that mean you will be done with it before your hol?

FeatherFeather11 · 22/10/2013 16:26

Thanks birdy - feeling much better thanks. Must have been some sort of 24 hr stomach bug. Got my bloods done this morning to see if I ovulated. Results tomorrow! Trying not to symptom spot as I'm now 6dpo. Grr!

rp good luck with the inlaws. Your Bil sounds charming! My MiL was doing that for a while but I had to tell her she couldn't come last time and she got the hint. Know it's a sensitive thing with family but at some point you have to put your foot down.

barking and yorkie hope you both feel better soon. Flowers

mrswalker13 · 22/10/2013 17:48

RP good luck with in-law visitation. I am very very lucky with my MiL - we're really close, she knows we're trying in difficult circs and she's sensitive to it - but SiLs a different story. No chance of shortening their stay?

Bunny going by the rule DSis and I have established, you must put on 7lb minimum on a week all inclusive. She did 18 days once and managed just over a pound a day... Getting your monies worth we reckon!

Feather glad you're feeling better today.

Birdy I too lose hours to googling all things conception & fertility related... Especially this week - back to doc Friday to stamp feet for FC referral. FX for me!

CatsCantFlyFast · 22/10/2013 18:27

Blue amazon sell conceive plus here
personally i would recommend using pre seed (also sold on amazon here

BlindKitty · 22/10/2013 18:39

rp well I'd like to think so but I think it's just too much chocolate lol. Wink Got my twelve week scan 6th nov Grin had my mw appointment today but she didn't really tell me anything I didn't know already, oh apart from to stay away from mn...Hmm. Re your cycle, I think some stealth shagging is on the cards!

bunny we went on an ai hol this time last year. Was meant to be a baby making hol but ended up being a proper booze fest! We made so many friends we basically propped up the in-pool bar from 10.00am every morning! Hadn't had so much fun since our Ibiza days!

birdie I think rp should change her name to your suggestion!

mrsw you've been ttc for a year haven't you?

mrswalker13 · 22/10/2013 19:39

Kitty Not long til 6th November - how exciting! I've been ttc 6 months but am 35 so that should be long enough...

BlindKitty · 22/10/2013 19:50

mrsw still a long 2ww! You defo meet criteria for a referral but you've still every chance conceiving naturally given that you've only been ttc for 6 months. Hopefully, you'll get diffed before you enter the world of blood tests and procedures!

BlindKitty · 22/10/2013 19:54

mrsw however, someone on here (can't remember who) said their gp refused. ..,you could always exaggerate the truth...

mrswalker13 · 22/10/2013 20:01

Kitty I'll keep that in reserve... I've already had basic bloods done because I've had no AF since July. All normal apparently but still no sign. I had Pelvic Inflammatory Disease when I was 17 & followed by endometriosis as a result of the scarring on my tubes so am hopeful that's more than enough to get things moving.

FeatherFeather11 · 22/10/2013 20:24

That'll definitely be enough mrswalker - endo I'd usually referred to a fc straightaway. Hope the get a wriggle on for you.

blue I agree with merkin - preseed is fab.

bunny you've inspired me to book a long weekend away somewhere with oh!

Avoiding all social media tonight as I want to watch bake off on Iplayer later. Cake to all!

Bunnygirlie · 22/10/2013 22:55

merk we go next week, so looking forward to it!

RP ooh loads of time off! Ace!

Oh no mrsw I don't wanna get fatter lol I feel blobby already as I can't pull my stomach in since the op Shock

kitty 6th nov OMG!

Bake Off WHOOP Cake

CD16 here, DTD days 12 & 14 but not really bothered about stressing about it all. Knowing ivf is round the corner kind of takes the pressure off if you know what I mean. I just wanna go and enjoy my holibobs (even though AF will arrive half way through).

OP posts:
barkingtreefrog · 23/10/2013 07:44

I'm now cd49 and still waiting.... Is it too early to see if my gp would do anything to help bring it on? The nurse at epu said 4-6 weeks and it's now 7. Definitely not ovulated so can't possibly be pg. Or should I call the fertility clinic instead? I don't think either will do anything but tell me to wait, but not sure.
