Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Hey all. Quick check in to say we're being referred for IVF. Hope everyone is ok. Got loads of work do can't read back-sorry!

mrswalker13 · 14/10/2013 20:08

Evening all!

Will update list with my update tomo - no news, no positive progress, marking time til 25th when I go back to GP to insist on further investigation / hopefully ref to FC...

In the meantime I am keeping busy with an artistic venture. DH and I have written a play and it is debuting this weekend - three nights - quite excited about that Smile

Sid in case you're popping in to look - thinking of you.

Who has BFP follow up news? I like hearing the updates that prove it can - will - happen!

Bunny - 33, TTC since June 2012, just had lap&dye, next step ivf/ICSI
Funky - 31. TTC since November 2012. A/w bloods and hycosy

kitty 33, ttc since jul 2011, 8+5 today thanks to the wonders of iui

ladybunnikins · 14/10/2013 20:18

I'm still here, felt quite worried over the weekend because my scan and blood test on Friday showed that I wasn't responding to the stimulating drugs and they had to double the dose. Of course, after they told me this I went on google and read loads of stuff about non-responders and cycles having to be being cancelled. This was after reading depressing articles in the Fertility Road magazine at the clinic.
The scan today was OK, nothing amazing but my follicles are growing now, next scan is on Wednesday. Luckily, work have been really good about giving me the time off.
Good luck to all those also embarking on the IVF journey!

Oh Boodle - I think - good news?! Is that what you wanted?

I guess it must be a shock...but at least a decisive step?

I am sat at my desk, having logged in at 7.45am and just this second finished the last thing I wanted to do today. Haven't eaten since noon, grumpy as fuck, waiting for DH to pick me up.......

I tried a self-imposed ban which lasted about 36 hours Hmm because I am 6DPO and symptom spotting when I have no symptoms. I must not be encouraged. It is not possible that the first time in our relationship we have ever managed to have 3 lots of penetrative sex in the fertile window, is the time I get my BFP. is it??

Today whilst walking to a meeting I thought ooh, sore boobs - then realised the folder I was carrying was sticking right into my nipple

Hmm please wang me.

Glad to hear you've finally got your referral boodle how are you feeling about it all?

in 2ww at the mo so nothing interesting to report. Kitty Those progesterone bullets are really delightful aren't they?!

Hope you're feeling better post op kitty

Wow funky sounds like the b6 has really worked for you! Must be tough not knowing when AF is expected to arrive when you don't know how long your luteal phase is on this cycle. Frustrating!

bunny on my phone so could you add me to the list please:

Yorkiebilb, 35, ttc since Sep last year. mmc last Dec. High fsh/high amh but no expert can tell me what this means. Currently on 1st IUI cycle.

BlindKitty · 14/10/2013 21:12

boodle that's great news. I take it they haven't offered iui? Not all pcts do given its low success rates.

mrsw foody is the latest berry grad!

rp you have EVERY reason to be optimistic! It's not like you have any other reproductive issues.

yorkie I didn't need the pessaries. Re your second comment, I think it was meant for bunny!

yorkiebilb · 14/10/2013 21:18

Yep, thanks for the correction kitty - I got my animals confused! bunny how are you?

RevoltingPeasant · 14/10/2013 22:11

Really quick, paranoid Q, if no one minds! Is luteal phase always stable? I mean, if you have a 13d phase or whatever one month, is that what you'd pretty much expect to have next month?

RevoltingPeasant · 14/10/2013 22:13

... I ask because although in only 6dpo my temps have dropped slightly over the past two days and I am suddenly feeling quite AFfy.... :( but this s just paranoia, right?

Oh does that happen? Did not know. Hmmmm. That makes me feel irrationally better, so thanks :)

Boodle9 · 14/10/2013 23:54

Yep. IVF pals, Bunny! I should expect a letter in the next few weeks, although the clinic that I'm being referred to has waiting list info on the website and it says 6 weeks, soooo...

Didn't ask for IUI in the end. Just don't feel like it's what we need. Sort of a gut feeling. I don't know, but I went with it. Just wanted to get away from the consultant if I'm honest! Think I pissed her off a bit today!!!

FeatherFeather11 · 15/10/2013 00:17

Hi all,

Great news boodle - sounds like things are moving for you! 6 weeks isn't too much of a wait - the waiting list where I live is 4 months long!!

I am, to put it mildly, freaking out. Got dildocam to check how this follie is getting on early in the morning, followed by a meeting with the consultant to discuss 'next steps'. Feel drained and sick and like I can't breath and I've not even been yet.

Sorry not to read through the full thread. Exhausted. Hope you're all ok. Any word from barking? Is she ok?

rp fx'd for you this month big time!

BlindKitty · 15/10/2013 07:20

rp well it's meant to. I thought it was all over when I had a dip but then it came back up again

bunny who moi?!!

boodle 6 weeks?! That amazing! I was expecting you to say at least 6 months!

feather no we haven't heard from barking Sad hope she's ok. Sure today will be fine btw. Everyone ways tends to think the worst

RevoltingPeasant · 15/10/2013 09:39

Oh feather Flowers It sounds awful, like that feeling you get where you just can't concentrate and keep dithering through nerves. Poor you! But will they be able to give you some more concrete information then? That would be something.....

boodle what's the 6 ww for? is it just for an initial appointment, or might things start moving quite quickly then? You know, a 6ww takes you to the last week in November - if they get moving then - could you be pg by January? Smile

foody - 33,ttc Nov 2011, mc May 2013, 5+2 today, in self preservation denial

feather hope this morning has gone well for you

boodle yay for 6 week clinic wait - that sounds super quick!

bunny it's a play within a play ghost story type of thing... Hopefully it'll go down well. The venue want us to write another piece for them already and we have one in the works for the Fringe next summer (depending on us making £ on this one so FX!)

I am sad today because of the news about Tian Tian (Sweetie) having lost her cub. DH and I went to see them in May when we officially started trying. At that point they were waiting to see if she was pregnant; DH bought tickets as a surprise and wrote me a card saying I would always be his Sweetie no matter what. Got really emotional burst into tears on the bus reading the story. I didn't realise quite how much I'd projected on that panda Haloween Sad
