Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Just a quick check-in and wave. I've been out and about this weekend so not had a chance to check in for Berry news. I hope everyone's OK ish. I'm seeing the consultant tomorrow. Feeling pretty apprehensive about it and might just kill her if she tries to tell me all women have 14 day luteal phases again. Angry

funkymonk · 13/10/2013 16:59

Hi Ladies,
Is barking ok? Has she been on since Friday evening? Sorry if I've missed anything- just been whizzing through the thread.
sid any updates?
Hope the appt goes ok tomorrow boodle
It was my first fc appt last thursday. Going for the usual cycle day 3-5 bloods and 7dpo bloods along with hycosy. Is this always the starting point. Anything else that I should be having? Is the hycosy a bit grim? What are the usual progesterone levels expected to be? The consultant said 30. Is that the norm or does it vary from region to region?
... Is prof merk around?! ... Today I am 14dpo. Always spot from 11dpo, until last month when started b6 and spotting started 12dpo. No spotting whatsoever as yet for this cycle. bfn on all tests. I know I'm not out until the red lady sings but surely I would have got a bfp by 14dpo??? I am assuming the b6 has actually just done a great job!

funkymonk · 13/10/2013 17:30

Oh and luteal phase always 11/12 days. Last month it was 12/13. clutching at straws here

Bunnygirlie · 13/10/2013 17:37

Hey boodle what is your appt for my lovely?

funky I don't know what a hycosy is I'm afraid.

You ok sid?

BlindKitty · 13/10/2013 18:56

funky mine was practically the same with exception I had a hsg. My fc likes prog to be over 30

Boodle9 · 13/10/2013 19:25

Bunny it's my 'half way through clomid' check up. I'm planning on having a tantrum and telling her that I don't want to take it any more. We will see how that goes down...

BlindKitty · 13/10/2013 19:55

boodle I only got put on iui/ivf waiting list by having mid clomid tantrum!!!

SidneyBristow · 13/10/2013 20:06

Sorry to be AWOL guys. Spent my morning getting meds for an ill neighbor and then going out driving with DH so I could make sure I knew the routes to take to get my SKs around this week. Spent the afternoon touching up paint around the house and then helping put the kitchen back together after DH finished the walls in there. Dinner's in the oven, Downton is on soon and I'm hoping it's a tearjerker so I can cry without having to explain why. Another bfn this morning, but no cramps all day. I think my body is just toying with me.

Funky I had a hycosy in September and it was easy enough - awkward but not particularly painful. There were a couple of seconds of intense cramping but a deep breath was enough to get through it. Take paracetamol beforehand and it'll be a breeze Thanks.

Boodle hope your appt goes well - I'm interested to hear how it goes, and whether your FC makes it out alive Grin

Back to dinner - will catch up properly tomorrow. Good night berries!

Bunnygirlie · 13/10/2013 21:54

Ooh boodle have a good tantrum, hope you get what you want!

Oh sid our bodies can be so cruel! Hope you know either way very soon.

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 13/10/2013 22:19

sid it's waaay to soon to take poas seriously!

CatsCantFlyFast · 14/10/2013 08:21

Morning everyone. Silently raging about how much I hate Mondays while sitting on the bus!
Foody- I think toucan attribute the changes in your cycle to the B6. It's great that its working for you but your cycle will be different so you will have to wait until it settles into a pattern to get a 'new normal' pattern iykwim
Sid - on your monitored cycle is the only bit of monitoring the scan pre trigger? Do they not do bloods to confirm for O or anything? How many DPO are you now? Hope you're ok x
Good luck for all appointments this week. Anyone else in the 2ww?

CatsCantFlyFast · 14/10/2013 11:46

Have I killed the thread???

Foodylicious · 14/10/2013 12:47

Maybe everyone is doing something really exciting? Halloween Smile
Not me though, in bed with cold Haloween Sad

SidneyBristow · 14/10/2013 13:27

merk no, the monitoring was an internal ultrasound only, no bloods. Today is 12DPO, if I'm counting 36hrs past the trigger shot as my O date. Another bfn this morning; I feel like AF could arrive at any time and at the moment I just want to crawl under the covers and hide away from the world. I'm supposed to call the FC when my cycle starts and presumably they'll tell me to start Clomid again on Day 2, or alternately will tell me not to take it due to the polyp and the need to sort it out. Not at all sure which I'd prefer and frankly I don't have the emotional energy at the moment to make any decisions. I feel like I've been in limbo for 16 months and so many of our plans for the future revolve around TTC and it's getting to me, the idea that I have nothing to show for all of the pain and stress, other than pain and stress. I know all this will be over one way or another some day but at the moment it's just so utterly depressing. Being 38 and tagged with "unexplained infertility" is effing hard.

In a few days I'll be in a better mood (I swear) but for now I'm going to take a break from MN, I think. I need to get back into a gym routine and catch up on some things in my life and just can't seem to focus. I'll be back in a few days when my head is on straight again. Foody I hope your cold passes soon and that everyone else has a happy Monday Thanks

Bunnygirlie · 14/10/2013 13:39

I'm here! Back at work tomorrow or Wednesday.

Hugs sid we all know how you feel, I always struggle when somebody gets a BFP or when AF comes, feels like the world is against you for a few days. Come back to us berries when you are ready x

It is very quiet on this thread these days, have these berries

yorkiebilb · 14/10/2013 13:58

I'm here still!

Sorry if I'm ignoring any other conversations, just wanted to come on and give my support to sid. Sorry you're feeling so shitty about it all. I know how you feel and I hope a few days away from mn will give you the head space you need. Please come and chat with us if you need some support. We're all here for you if you need us.

Good luck for your appt today boodle

Foodylicious · 14/10/2013 15:04

Do what you need to do sid, I have had a few self imposed bans from here for a bit.

Ridiculous but I find making bread helps with stress sometimes, I get to pound the crap out of it then eat it all!

happylass · 14/10/2013 17:23

I'm still here too as a passive observer!! Sid so sorry you're having a tough time. Take as much time for yourself as you need, but remember we're always here Thanks
Boodle hope you had a good strop and got exactly what you wanted!!
Funky I was told a level of at least 30 to confirm OV too - think that seems to be the norm.

The hats are out I see Halloween Wink Halloween Hmm Halloween Grin

Bunnygirlie · 14/10/2013 19:23

boodle how was your FC appt?

How is everyone? Anybody here?

Anybody to fill in a new list?!?

How's everyones Monday been?

funkymonk · 14/10/2013 19:56

So sorry sid that you're having a rough time. I guess nothing anyone can say will make things any easier. We all know what the one and only resolution to the problem is and until we get that everything is shit. Very shit.

Is barking ok?

Updates from yorkie boodle?? Where are rp feather and mrsw these days? Though admittedly I've not been around much myself lately.

News from graduates??

Teehee at bunny and her lists!!

Bunny - 33, TTC since June 2012, just had lap&dye, next step ivf/ICSI
Funky - 31. TTC since November 2012. A/w bloods and hycosy Shock

Sooo 15dpo here (slight possibility of 14dpo). No spotting which usually arrives 10/11dpo. Have been taking 50mg B6. Think I should stop really as been getting depressing bfn's everyday so would rather af hurried along so I can start again!!!

Bunnygirlie · 14/10/2013 19:57

Hello! kitty I am signed off till Wednesday but need to get back and see what crap is on my desk!
