Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

RevoltingPeasant · 11/10/2013 09:05

Merk thanks! I feel so..... normal!!! Grin I almost don't care if I get a BFP, we just managed to shag like normal people!

What am I saying, of course I care, but you know what I mean!

barking what are you looking for with the sticks? What will they tell you?

sid where are you? What is happening? I am sure it is totally unhealthy of me to be so interested in another woman's period, but-- is there a chance....?

FeatherFeather11 · 11/10/2013 09:08

One follicle at 11mm and I'm cycle day 10! It's on the right ovary, which is annoying as I don't have Fallopian tube on that side, but they said the one on the left can do the work sometimes. Going back on Tuesday for scan and trigger shot if it's grown to size and I also have a meeting with the consultant to discuss 'next steps' that morning too. So pleased SOMETHING grew after months and months of zilch! Nurse said to dtd as much as possible this weekend anyway.

Thanks for all the support and hope everyone has a good friday. Can't bloody wait for the weekend to get here.

Thundercatsarego · 11/10/2013 09:25

Good news feather! Time to get a-boinking!

Nice one rp, that's some good normalsex action right there. And it's pretty much as much as we managed in most fertile windows if I was lucky

yorkie my OH hadn't heard of it either but found the penis beaker idea pretty ridiculous.

SidneyBristow · 11/10/2013 09:54

Feather got in too late to wish you good luck on your scan, but it sounds like you didn't need it! That's great news and must be such a relief that things are moving forward. The waiting stinks! Hope your weekend-long pajama party-sans-pajamas is fun! Nice of it to fall on a weekend!!

RP huge high five on the meds working. What a boost to you both. And you guys DTD more during shag week than we were told to did, so surely your odds of conceiving are higher, right? Fx!

Bunny how's the swelling today? Taking off the dressings is always the worst; when are you allowed a proper soak? A real shower was the highlight of my life after my surgery a few years ago.

Pip how are you, lady? What's on the horizon for you? Are you all settled in to your house?

Barking glad you can use the wee sticks; those bastards are way too pricey to throw out!! Although won't it be a happy day when we can all get rid of our TTC paraphernalia!!

Well Berries I don't know what to report other than my boobs are killing me and I had to wee 4x in the night. Granted 2x were only bc my dog kept waking me up, but I'm not usually a night-wee-er so this has me cautiously hopeful confused. I don't feel nauseous this morning but could be bc I skipped the tea and ate something right when I got up. I had AF-style cramps late last night, but no spotting or anything so I'm just going to stay quietly hopeful but not too excited. Today's 9dpo I believe (could be 10 or 11 dpo if I ov'd prior to the trigger, but let's hope I didn't) and official testing day is Tuesday. Not sure I can hold out til then but also not eager to see a BFN and have to give up this "Maybe I am!" feeling for another month Confused

....and now I'm feeling some pretty strong rolling cramping so all of this could easily be PMS rather than a case of the babies. Sad

Sorry for the wishy-washiness!! I really appreciate the positive vibes and support and am quite pleased there are people out there interested in my period (or hopefully lack thereof) Grin Big Berry group hug time! Cake

Thundercatsarego · 11/10/2013 09:58

Oo sid, this sounds exciting slightly promising (keeping with the low key vibe)

So if you can't wait til Tues to test, when will you? Sunday??

SidneyBristow · 11/10/2013 10:08

Not sure Thunder; wouldn't want to do it too early bc then I'd become obsessive about it, thinking it was still just too soon, and all the BFNs would depress me.

I'm a basketcase, really!

Thundercatsarego · 11/10/2013 10:46

I reckon you should make a plan sid and then the decision is made. If it's Tuesday then that's fine, just try your best to distract yourself til then.

I always made a plan and then totally broke it a few days before but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Helpful? No not really

Foodylicious · 11/10/2013 10:49

fx sid, you sound just like me 10 days ago, I managed to hold out poas until 2 days before AF due... so totally understand the low key vibe!

really I am still in shock and denial (of the self preservation variety)

Thundercatsarego · 11/10/2013 11:00

2 days before, foody? That sounds like Sunday's the day then sid

Grin
CatsCantFlyFast · 11/10/2013 11:20

sid if it helps, by 11dpo (Sunday) fertility friend says testing is over 80% accurate (ie you're unlikely to get a negative that would then turn into a positive on a later test)
I'm not sure if I can wait til Sunday though!
The alternative is to use my method which is to POAS every day from as early as possible, thereby expecting a negative (as its too early) and therefore the bfp comes as a shock if it happens (rather than the bfn being a disappointment iykwim)

FeatherFeather11 · 11/10/2013 12:13

Thanks all. Every time I've had a follicle it's always been on the right, and no bfp but here's hoping!

sid I agree with merk - do you have internet cheapies? Might be worth doing them every day and as M said, be expecting a bfn between now and Tues? On a selfish level, I am dying to know!! I have everything crossed for you.

rp so pleased for you!

SidneyBristow · 11/10/2013 12:21

Did any of you pg berries feel crampy during your 2ww towards the end? Yesterday I had a sharp cramp that lasted about 30 sec; last night in bed I felt an odd sort of cramping, and now today (9dpo) I feel AF-style ongoing cramping. I'd love for this to be implantation-related but I can't see how it's anything other than pre-AF symptoms Sad

Boomgoestheweasel · 11/10/2013 12:21

We're all dying to know Sid but you've got to do it your way or Merk's way. I was a slightly more than daily dipper and I got bfp on 9dpo, although that might have been a bit early because of the double bfp! Have everything crossed for you, although in a low-key way, naturally.

Feather hope it finds its way to the fallopian tube diversion this time!

RP good effort on the shagging Grin

And a big wave to the rest of the berries!

CatsCantFlyFast · 11/10/2013 12:53

Cramping is normal for implantation. Do you normally get pre AF cramps? Do they feel the same?

Foodylicious · 11/10/2013 13:23

I had cramping sid, felt pmty and generally pants, was convinced AF was imminent.
I got bfp at 9DPO, not detectable on the 2 internet cheapies i used during the day, but used a cb digi when i was going to bed and there it was! re looked at the cheapies and could just about make out a line on one of them.
Tested on that day because they arrived in the post and i had ordered 15 cheapies and I have no self controland 2 cb digi's,

Bunnygirlie · 11/10/2013 15:20

Hello.

Feeling bit nauseous today Sad took my anti nausea patch off this morning so I guess it was doing a good job!

Yay rp hooray for normal shagging lol

Yay feather keeping FX for you

sid I am going to attempt a shower this evening, my tummy is still swollen from the gas and bright red from the antiseptic wash.
More FX for you too! But don't let the berries bully you into testing Wink

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 11/10/2013 15:28

sid could be implantation cramps but maybe mild ohss? If mild ohss doesn't mean your not pg! I still have it (mildly) and the nurse said it might not go because of my hcg levels!

SidneyBristow · 11/10/2013 15:36

oh no bunny did they give you another patch, or was the one you took off the only one you were allowed? Hope it doesn't last very long, and that you feel better after a shower. Don't worry, I don't feel bullied Grin I know it's just excitement; if I hadn't been down this road 15 times already I'd be excited for me too!

Merk I do get preAF cramps but only ever a day or two ahead of time; AF not due til Tues (FF giving me a cycle of 25 days this time - ov trigger shot day (Mon 30/9) + 36hrs (should've ovulated by that time, not at that time, so difficult to pinpoint to a day) + 12 day leuteal phase = 25 days. Typically I'm 28-29 days so I really don't know what to expect. The cramps do feel AFish so I'm wondering if I ov'd on Mon 30/9 naturally (in which case I'm probably out as we didn't DTD til that night, then again Weds am) + 12 days LP = tomorrow (Sat 12th) would be the 12th dpo = AF soon to follow.

The more I think about this, the more confusing it gets. Sorry to be such a downer guys Sad

CatsCantFlyFast · 11/10/2013 16:14

Sid its always confusing, and you've got a trigger and clomid thrown in! See how you feel tomorrow, try not to fret.
In other news I am getting seriously pissed off with the birthday cake. Can only do 5 to 10 mins of decorating before it needs to go back in the freezer to chill so I am running out of time and patience

RevoltingPeasant · 11/10/2013 17:40

Sid I think you should just do what feels right. Maybe decide to yourself to do first morning's wee on Sunday? That's only 36 hours away.

Personally I have decided this time I am going to wait till I am actually late to test, no matter what symptoms I have, as I got what might possibly have been a very faint line a couple of days before AF last month - and then - BFN and AF.

But others have different approaches!

BlindKitty · 11/10/2013 18:09

entirely for her own benefit and a tiny bit me

rp not that it makes it any better but maybe you had a cp last month? Did we ever see a pic of the stick?

Bunnygirlie · 11/10/2013 18:51

Evening!

sid I was only allowed the patch on for 72 hours. Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow.

Whatever you decide to do or whatever the outcome is, we are here for you. BTW I'm a wait till its late kind of gal Wink

Just had a shower and changed my dressings, yucky stitches Sad

RevoltingPeasant · 11/10/2013 19:12

Hi I don't think so Kitty - think it was just weirdy hormones or evaporation lines. I did get excited though Blush it was weirdly resistant to photography as well - the whole test just came out as a blinding flash of white!

Bunnygirlie · 11/10/2013 21:07

quiet in here tonight!

Where is everybody?!?!?
