Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Sounds like excellent progress Bunny. Once you're fighting fit again you'll have to make like bunnies for the next few months! Wink

FX for you Yorkie, hopefully you'll replicate Kitty's excellent results.

Good news on the OVing RP, hope you can make the most of it tonight!

CatsCantFlyFast · 09/10/2013 19:06

Yorkie I am willing those swimmers to do their job. Everything crossed for you x

Boodle9 · 09/10/2013 19:37

Glad everything went well today, Bunny. Fingers crossed for the promise of increased fertility now.

Quick question for any berries who have ever taken clomid; on which cycle days were you told to take your pills? My FC said 2-6 but I'm thinking about trying a day 3 or day 4 start as I know it varies.

CatsCantFlyFast · 09/10/2013 19:52

boodle I've never taken clomid but barking researched this... In UK seems to be from day 2 but in the US its normal to start later

barkingtreefrog · 09/10/2013 20:25

Damn, did a long reply to sid earlier but it never posted!
Boodle in the US they seem to start at CD7 or CD9. I'm on day 35 with still no sign of ov so I'm actually hoping I don't ov at all this cycle and AF just arrives so I can get back on the clomid, but if I do Ov then I'll be waiting until I have a heavy bleed before starting the clomid, which for me could be cd4.

Bunnygirlie · 09/10/2013 20:36

FX for you yorkie

Making like bunnies Grin gil I was hoping never to do it again lol

P.s. home now and enjoying some time with my furry babies. Very strange having a secret op, hardly anybody in RL to visit or ask how I am Confused

OP posts:
Boodle9 · 09/10/2013 20:56

Were you told to take yours on CD2 then, Barking?

Argh. Very unhappy this evening -seriously painful AF. Trying very hard not to throw up is about all I'm fit for. God damn insult to injury!

Enjoy your cuddles with your fur babies, Bunny!

RevoltingPeasant · 09/10/2013 21:02

Noooooo DH is saying he is tired nooooooo

barkingtreefrog · 09/10/2013 21:28

Yes Boodle, 2-6 as you said. That's what I did last time, but given after last time the spotting that I thought was AF wasn't, I'm going to wait until it definitely is AF next time. Obviously if I don't ov at all this cycle it won't be an issue. If this cycle ever comes to an end.....

Sorry AF is being an arse Sad . Thanks I made chocolate brownies last night if you'd like one?

funkymonk · 09/10/2013 22:00

Keeping everything crossed for you yorkie and glad all went smoothly for you today bunny.

Booo to dh rp. Hope you can persuade him.

It's my first fertility appt tomorrow. Anything I should remember to ask?

Bunnygirlie · 09/10/2013 22:02

Oh no boodle poor you, hugs x

RP bad DH!!!!! Grrrrrrrr

Evening Berries.
I can't believe I missed the 1 year old party. How many original berries are left?

Another fucking friend has announced that they are pg , bastards.

What news in the world of berries? I'll try to be a better berry now.

happylass · 09/10/2013 22:52

Evening all. Bunny glad all went well and hope you are taking it easy and being well looked after. Fingers crossed for an ironidiff before you get to the IVF stage. Fx for you too Yorkie. Good luck to everyone else on shag week/Clomid etc. Getting a bit Envy that I can't participate in the TTC talk. But on the upside we've just booked our honeymoon eeeek!

happylass · 09/10/2013 23:01

Ah Pip lovely to see you! What's happening with you? I'm still here and will be for a while and Bunny too. Not sure who else.
Apparently the penis beaker thread caused so much interest that it caused MN to crash! Off to have a sneaky peek now!

BlindKitty · 10/10/2013 06:54

rp sounds like an ovulation to me!

bunny one stop closer to getting that bfp! When can you start dtd again?

yorkie it is odd isn't it?! The nurse was like 'would you like your dh here?'...erm yes love, I'd like him to be at the conception of my child..

yorkiebilb · 10/10/2013 07:26

Hey kitty my DH wasn't even there as he had to rush back to work after he gave his sample! It was all v weird. He made me laugh last night as he told me when he was called to go give his sample he got confused about what was going on and thought we were all having a meeting first. He said to the nurse on the way to the room 'isn't my wife going to join me' which confused the poor woman who said 'well its not normal practice but she can if you want'! She obv thought he wanted me there to give him 'a hand'!

Good luck with your appt today funky let us know how you get on.

CatsCantFlyFast · 10/10/2013 08:30

How's sid this morn?

SidneyBristow · 10/10/2013 09:05

My clomid was days 2-6 also. Boodle if you're going to take it later, will you do it on the sly, or will you say something to your dr first? Are they doing scans or is it unmonitored? Just thinking the timing might be considerably off for follicle growth if you start days after they think you did, but if it's unmonitored then do what you like! Sorry AF is so painful this time around. I think I read that that's kind of common after Clomid also, or did I imagine that?

Merk you aren't helping my symptom spotting Wink but since you ask, I feel fine, but also like I could vomit any minute. I definitely don't have the flu or anything like that but I also kind of think I might feel totally normal if I could just be sick. Might be that I've had tea first thing for the last two mornings; usually I don't. But I also had a really weird cramp last night, but no spotting of any sort.

I know I'm not pregnant but it's a nice thought to think I'm still in the game somehow.

Also I think the consultant's stance is that perhaps there's either an issue with my eggs being too tough to penetrate, or that there is an implantation issue. (Which is a sad thought bc it would've meant that we had conceived but I just didn't know it Sad) So those are two things that definitely wouldn't be picked up by a blood test/scan (I think), that could be resolved by IVF (I hope). Or maybe he thinks (like I do) that I'm 39 in the nearish future and it's getting on time to do something different. Who knows. I would really rather not be like that lady I keep seeing in the DM who's pg and in her 50s!!

CatsCantFlyFast · 10/10/2013 09:35

Sid "I know I'm not pregnant but it's a nice thought to think I'm still in the game somehow." You keep with the denial / negative thinking and I will do the positive thinking for you Wink
You don't know anything until the fat lady sings x

SidneyBristow · 10/10/2013 09:50

Smile thanks Merksie

Thundercatsarego · 10/10/2013 09:57

So when are you testing sid?

Boomgoestheweasel · 10/10/2013 10:14

I'll join in with the positive thinking for you Sid!

How are the rest of you lovely berries? I've lost the plot a little bit. Yorkie keeping fingers crossed that the IUI will do the trick!

Barking are you still waiting for AF? Hope she shows up soon x

bunny how are you feeling after your op?

CatsCantFlyFast · 10/10/2013 13:18

Anybody a cake making expert? Making a ball (spherical) cake this afternoon and obviously getting the icing smooth is going to be tough. Torn between buttercream and fondant and wondered if anybody had any bright ideas!

Bunnygirlie · 10/10/2013 13:59

Hey pip good to see you! Don't leave us again Wink Bastard baby announcements!

Thanks happy DH is looking after me.Tell us about the 'moon' !

kitty Apparently we can DTD as soon as we feel up to it. CD4 here so hoping we can give it a go in a week or so.

The penis beaker thread is hilarious!!!

FX for you yorkie

sid FX for you too! Somebody told me that my PCO makes my eggs with a tougher surface too, I now imagine them as mini eggs with a crispy shell Grin

Hey boom my lovely, I am ok thanks. Tummy feels funny and getting in and out of bed is tricky! Keeping the drugs flowing is helping. Lounging on the sofa watching glee with some treats Smile
