Well I thought I'd get the ball rolling and start up the October bus, there's plenty of Cake and Wine on board and extra comfy seats for relaxing into those BFP's

Science I know what you mean. I had planned on at least being pregnant before I turned 30 (which was at the end of August), thought that it would be so easy... would just come off the pill and get pregnant straight away. Obviously this didn't happen and I have to say I was a bit gutted at the time but now feeling a bit more relaxed about it. Like you say, it's just a number..try not to put too much pressure on yourself Flowers

Bloumer · 26/09/2013 15:21

Hello all, can I jump on the Oct bus please?

Bloumer ttc #1 cycle #3ish? BFP 6th

I've been on hol for the past few weeks so had a break from MN due to sporadic Internet availability. Also stopped OPK-ing as we're travelling around a lot and it got a bit challenging! Had EWCM, sore boobs and nausea last weekend so am assuming I'm 4 dpo-ish.

Still have no idea re cycles as I have only had 2 days of spotting (last month) since I came off the pill in April - so can empathise with those who came off early thinking they were being organised! Last month I had EWCM one week then +OPK the next - so who knows whether my symptoms last week were really OV or not. Sigh!

On the plus side I've been very relaxed due to holiday mood, and dtd lots - so FX!

Tea1Sugar · 26/09/2013 16:35

Hi charleslingus Smile Scan is on 11th oct, cannot wait! Had one at 8+2 bean looked very happy so I just hope everything remains ok. Still constantly knicker checking! How are you?

Choccywoccydodah · 26/09/2013 16:38

Blimey, you lot have been chatty today!!

Welcome newbies, sorry you're here, hopefully most of us will be lucky on this bus.

Hope you had a fab hol Bloumer!!

Well, think ov is coming up. Crampy today and I've actually got some ewcm woohoo!! Been out all day so will do opk later.

onelifeonechance · 26/09/2013 16:58

Can you tell I've joined the bus choccy?! Grin Cramps&ewcm sounds good to me, get dtdeeding immediately!

Choccywoccydodah · 26/09/2013 18:47

Ha ha onelife, definitely Wink
Opk neg still

Choccywoccydodah · 26/09/2013 19:39

Just checked opk again and a slight line. Last month I had nothing, then it got stronger and stronger, so I'm guessing Saturday i'll hopefully have a positive Smile

Liquidambar · 26/09/2013 20:33

Hi. Can I join you?

I have been tempted to join the buses for a long time.
I am not sure this will be my month as I ovulated earlier than expected. I am only 6dpo but can't avoid symptom spotting (all in my head of course!)

Liquidambar ttc #2, cycle 4 BFP 7th Oct

onelifeonechance · 26/09/2013 21:05

Excellent choccy perfect for weekend dtdeeding then, always makes things easier I find!

Hi liquid glad you've hopped aboard, fx for you, fed up of the 2ww yet?!

Choccywoccydodah · 26/09/2013 21:34

We don't 'work' as such onelife, so weekends don't make a difference to us Grin (no, we're not benefits peeps, I just have a very clever hubby)

onelifeonechance · 26/09/2013 21:52

Ooo i'm intrigued now, what is he clever about? Are you able to divulge?

onelifeonechance · 26/09/2013 21:55

Lottery numbers?

onelifeonechance · 26/09/2013 21:55

Inventor of the post it note?

onelifeonechance · 26/09/2013 22:01

Property tycoon?

MrsB2013 · 26/09/2013 23:28

I find these buses really helpful and everyone is so supportive! We haven't told anyone we are ttc, don't want added pressure of people asking has it happened yet. DH has been wanting us to ttc for about 2 years, but I wanted to get married first, so now is the right time, I really hope it happens this month!

I've worked out I would be about 12 weeks at Christmas, so would love to announce it then!!

I ordered a thermometer today. Amazon are making some extra money off all us crazy ladies at the moment lol

CleverOl10 · 27/09/2013 00:09

Was thinking the same about Christmas. Would be lovely to tell everyone then!

Bloumer · 27/09/2013 02:10

Choccy is it you who rides? I reckon you own racehorses and your DH has an eye for the winners. Please tell me you have a whole wardrobe full of amazing hats.

I'm not up in the middle of the night btw, sitting in an airport waiting for a flight home. If I'm lucky this month my bean would have been conceived on a sea cliff outside San Francisco (sounds romantic until I add that we were in an American-sized camper van!)

SoMuchFruit · 27/09/2013 03:28

LOL Bloumer that still sounds very fancy! At least you are up for a reason. I am just being really insomniacky tonight.

Chocky that sounds idyllic!

MrsB - I am finding the buses very supportive and a fantastic displacement activity too. We also haven't told anyone we are ttc either. I sort of want to but then the expectation every month/well meaning excitement might freak me out when I am disappointed when it doesn't happen Sad

Choccywoccydodah · 27/09/2013 07:26

Third guess lucky onelife, started 6 months after we started going out 16 years ago, just bought our 12th house Grin
I 'retired' 4 years ago, him 7 years ago, hence we then started ttc our ds. We said years and years ago in a dream like voice how lovely it would be to have kids and be able to both look after them and take them/pick them up from school etc etc, and here we are Grin
It's taken a lot of risks, but it's always paid off. We do run them ourselves though, so we do 'work' sometimes. We've just spent the last week painting and renting one out, so that's all done now. Next one due Nov/Dec, but we're letting our own house and moving ourselves, so less stressful Smile. Can't wait, just bought our forever house, but needs a bit of work but it's bloody lovely!

Bloumer, lol, I love hats, but sadly no, I only have a few summer hats Smile

Choccywoccydodah · 27/09/2013 07:26

And bloumer, I think that is very romantic if you did conceive then x

wispaxmas · 27/09/2013 08:25

That's awesome choccy! Tons of risk and lots of work at times, though, so I wouldn't say you don't work.

Anyone on the bus planning to test early, or is everyone going to 'be good' and wait for your BFP date?

SoMuchFruit · 27/09/2013 08:29

I'm not having a 2WW so not going to test until at least after 9th Oct, preferably not until after 11th or so I say now

Choccywoccydodah · 27/09/2013 08:32

I must say, we've just had the last 6 months off wispa, no phone calls, problems, people moving etc, so that was nice Wink

jessieagain · 27/09/2013 09:04

That sounds great choccy ! Early retirement! We are lucky that dp gets to pick and choose at his work which means lots of time off not working....But he is interested in taking another contract away from home again so hopefully will have bfp by then or else we will be juggling things around my ov time which makes things tricky!

jessieagain · 27/09/2013 09:09

It would be a great Xmas present. I fell pregnant with ds in oct and we had a lovely snowy 12 scan a couple of days before Xmas :)
