Hi ladies, looking for some advice.

This is cycle 2 and thought if I'd try the opk's this month. I have a 28 day cycle, regular as clockwork so presumed id ov on day 14 (currently day 10). I tested this afternoon and have a positive opk, does this mean I'm ovulating today or it's going to happen tomorrow etc??

I got a negative yesterday and a very definite positive today. If I DTD for the next 3 days do you think I'll have done enough or do you recommend to keep testing and DTD until I get negative opk's?

This is all so confusing! Who would have thought something so natural would be so complicated!

Hi Babymama: I use you use 'normal' (ie not digital) OPKs from what you've said? I don't know much about them, but I think you ovulate 12-36 hours after the positive appears - different women are different. Some even ovulate on the day of the positive - depends how long your LH surge is. I should think dtd on the next three days will be fine though!

Hey quick question before I start catching up on the last few days.
AF arrived wednesday, it's now Friday and it's gone- like properly gone. Does this mean I have a smaller cycle? I've always had short periods but not this short.

Re ov, its recommended you test from cd 10 due to early ov. Get bding!!

babymama, what everyone else said re 12-36 hrs later, though keep in mind that sometimes you can get a +opk and not actually ovulate, then get another surge a few days later. If you're regular like clockwork, though, it's not likely for that to happen.

The only way to know how long after the +opk you actually ovulate would be to track your bbt as well. Though, if you keep an eye on cervical mucus and you notice it all but dries up, that another good indication ovulation has happened the previous day or thereabouts.

Hi all, my bfp was due 2nd October but sadly I was caught by the witch. But as my cycles are now 27/28 days Id like to stay on the bus please

Feeling more hopeful this month as we are managing to dtd on the right days. My OPK tests say I am at Peak now and we dtd last night and 2 nights ago too so I'll be trying every day till I get a negative opk now.

Btw I was taking the pregnacare tablets and they turn you symptom crazy! Metalic taste, sore boobs, vivid dream etc

Just thought id share that although they are great for pregnancy prep.
