No-one is sounding very positive this month and I'm joining the gang. Although I did get my pos opk yesterday so maybe Sundays swimmers will still be around!

Sorry but I'm also on the "not very positive for this month" bus... Just did my blood test (10DPO) after I POAS this am and got a BFN, again. Definitive results should be in before 4pm.

I have a fun chat with my mum yesterday. She was baffled we can find out so early now. She told me she had to wait a couple of weeks after her AF were due to go to the doctor and get tested. But then, she felt very much pg so she was not worried. They didn't have ovulation test, special lube or anything but they were 22 and were shagging all the time so that probably helped quite a lot Anyway, she's very much looking at becoming a "Mamie" (DGM) and I think going through all that with her by my side is incredibly nice after years of "I hate you for not letting me go to a nightclub at 16"

the cramping I thought was in my head yesterday has got worse today, complete with clicking from my lower back Sad I don't really know what to think tbh. I'm 8 dpo, af due Sunday, but it feels like it's coming any minute. sigh

Happy Birthday Fedup am confused which thread Im supposed to be on so have butt in on this one lol. Still no AF which is due tomorrow but still having brown spotting Confused Is this a good sign? Thanks for asking Smile Went to docs this morning and she sent me away annoyingly Sad DH cannot wait and is insisting I POAS everyday which is expensive and down heartening when you keep getting BFN!!!!!!! Last test was Sunday morning BFN Sad and refusing to do another on until after missed AF tomorrow!

Funny that no one is feeling positive. I haven't even started shagging and I'm convinced it won't work this month (am already looking into how OPKs work for next month)! I guess we've been here before too often! I'm not even sure when we'll be dtd this month, we usually attempt cd 7, 9, 11, 13 & 15 and normally do 3 or 4 of those (and def 11&13). But so busy/tired atm that I don't think we'll do 9 or 11 so I may switch to 8, 10, 12, 14 & 16 (def 12&14). Sorry just figured out my plan!!

Hope you're al doing well this month and that we get a coupe of BFPs!

ttc#2 - into my 17th cycle of trying. Losing will to live rapidly!
Passed every imaginary deadline going. Just need people to keep me hopeful really on this horrid old journey. Have a 3.5yo DD.

threepiece it must be SO hard to keep positive for so long. I will be having my fingers crossed for you. My doc said this morning I had to wait 18months before they Wd bother checking me out! Confused I'm only on cycle 6 but feels like cycle 60!!!! Hoping so much that this is the month that I am contemplating standing on my head so gravity doesn't allow AF to appear! Shock

Thanks for the welcome. We are off away for the Bank Hol weekend which happens to tie in nicely with mid-month. Having regular 28 day periods so hopefully ovulating. If there's no BFP this month, I'm going to be brave and make a GP appointment. Kind of scared of finding out there's something wrong really, if that makes sense.

It's better to know though as being in limbo sucks and remember takes 2. DH needs to go too! Make an appt now anyway as these things take time and they need to refer you etc etc NHS are not what we call quick.
My friend was about to start her fertility treatment after one year of trying and she got BFP day before she was to start. It can happen x

I started off my day taking apart a first response whilst drinking a glass of water mixed with turmeric and baking powder. No joke. I did a test because I feel sick and dizzy and boobs are killing me. The sick and dizziness I think is down to the uti not going, hence the odd 'cocktail' I read about online last night (and stuff I had on the cupboard!) I really don't want to take antibiotics as the ones the doctor gave me are still in the cupboard as they were linked to miscarriage. And I thought if they are linked to mc they might affect ttc. Plus they usually wipe me out and give me thrush. Nice.

Anyway, been out to the park with my family and tomorrow we are going to a steam engine place as ds is obsessed with trains! My birthdays have properly changed!! I am going out tonight with DH for some drinks and fancy dinner. Sod the uti and bfn am getting drunk!!

car maybe we have same thing going on? I had back pain last night but gone this morn. I don't know what to think either. I read apple cider vinegar works too so off to shops this pm to add that to my utterly gross birthday drink.

Hi everyone, found the new thread! I'm doing my opk's, negative at the mo but according to the instructions Hmm I should be getting a positive opk in next couple of days... So a busy few days for me and dh! Grin

Can't scroll on my tablet to name check everyone but have been reading all your news and will have fingers crossed this week for bpfs for everyone waiting!

Have a doctor's appointment booked on Friday, not sure whether to go or not. I hate going to the doctors, hate tests etc! But on the other hand I do feel like I should find out if there's anything wrong so will know whether to have any hope!

Ha ha three piece just seen your post - very similar situation to me! Will let you know how gp goes, if I'm brave enough to go I'm sure you will be. The question is whether I am brave enough to go though!!

Am hoping a bit more knowledge from the opks with some targeted shagging gives me the edge this month and doc appointment proves to have been unnecessary! Am thinking that this first appointment will pretty much just be a referral?!

Today the af came! I highly expected this and feel nothing no sadness no anger no anything so am thinking I may have hit the are you frickin joking its now 2 and 1/4 years wall? I hit this with dd 5 so ? My month coming up?
But please don't worry I feel amazingly cool with the af! But will however this month be not doing anything in baby making just Dtd when I fancy it Grin ok so that will be everyday lol just in case!

liquid it was the littke boxes for the babies born sleeping that got me Sad . And watching all those ladies in labour just makes me want to do it all again! even though it was flaming horrofic at the time. I felt I didn't enjoy my ds enough as a baby and I want to be more relaxed about it next time. Reproductive system don't let me down!
