Hey ladies

Just popping in to say hi and lots of fxing here for you all, whether you will be POASing or DTDing or doctor appointing or wondering whether to go. I really do hope that things take a positive spin pardon thd pun .

2be, have my booking in appointment with m/w tomorrow, and the scan on thursday. Hopefully I will find out how far along I am and how manys in there. This isnt meant to sound ungrateful but im hoping tgat there is only one and not two in there as I just dont know how I will cope with twins and a 5year old at the ripe age of 32!! I get tired just dealing with ds. Sorry that must sound really Stooooopid.
Dildoos- little bean causing me mucho nausea, mornings are a killer, I just cant seem to function at all, which is upsetting me, as ds starts primary school in two weeks and im just worrying that I will not be able to do it without feeling dreadful. I might have to ask m/wife for the anti sickness tablets just in case. has anyone had experience of these?

Sorry for ranting on! So plans for the bank holiday peeps? x

Hey fedup! I have the wrist bands on as we write!! They are helping a bit, but its still present. If I wasnt wearing them I know I'd be very pukey so they are helping. Its just the morning atm that is worse. Hopefully that will calm down as the weeks go on! Thank you for suggesting it though! I cant do sweet things very well, and savory has to be quite bland :0/

Hows your birthday been lovely? x

yikes, fedup (shudders at the thought of a turmeric, baking soda and vinegar cocktail) I hope you had something nicer later on Grin
good morning everyone!
getting ready for a tough day at work. Have a meeting w contractors who have not provided what we'd paid them for. So putting on my no-nonsense face Smile
I think I'm out this month though. My temps are slowly dropping Sad

and so sorry about the sickness Abi it's just horrible. Had it w ds, flat coke was the only thing that worked slightly. Do ask your midwife, I wish I had back then cos it's unbearable!

I was feeling sick last night and in the day and convinced myself I was pregnant. I caved and POAS. got BFN Hmm don't understand. AF still not arrived. Due day today Confused

Good morning ladies.

jules sorry about the bfn. Perhaps your cycle is slightly longer than you initially thought. ... you may still get a bfp.

abi in my home country women are prescribed anti sickness tablets all the time. I'm sure some are completely safe to use. The only side effect they complain about is that they can make you feel ver sleepy.

pizza my ds was premature. Although everything went well at birth I had seven people in the room either monitoring me or the baby. The following months were hard but I want to do it again Smile (hopefully not another premature baby)

keepthecar good luck for your meeting. Meeting with contractors are always... lets say... interesting Wink . Have you used opk? or are you just monitoring your temperature?

fedup hope you enjoyed your birthday and dinner.

Another negative opk this morning. However,we started dtd. Dh is a happy man!

ricecakes when do you expect to ovulate? I think for me it will be around Sunday or Monday.

As gross as the cocktail was - it appears to have worked. All uti symptoms have gone. No cramps, back ache or urges to pee! Surely I deserve a bfp just for that?!?! Literally the most disgusting thing I have ever ever consumed but if it means I can avoid the anti - bs then I will do it!!

Pizza I get all funny watching one born every minute and oddly desperate to go through labour again, as hideous as it was. I think there is something natural in us that gives us these urges or we wouldn't reproduce (or try too) again.

Birthday dinner was lovely thanks and got a small head ache as a result of the booze! Worth it though as had lovely time with DH.

car good luck with the stern talking meeting! You tell em!

jules hope you're ok.
abi hope sickness subsides today (but not so it makes you worry!)

Still bfn in this camp...

Have a great day all xx

Are you still spotting jules? I started spotting before af about 3 months ago...I never had it before. Mine is always more pink than brown though. Sorry you got a bfn.

I couldn't watch it either liquid. I never thought i would believe the day I was jealous of women in childbirth! There was a newborn baby pic on my fb feed last night and it made my heart melt. I so want that.
I agree pizza I really want to enjoy every minute with number 2...it all seemed stressful for me the first time. This time I will defiantly try to enjoy every moment!
Poor you abi the sickness is just horrible! I didn't try tablets just wallowed in self pity and moaned all the time to dh!
Glad you had a good bday fedup.
Welcome newbies and good luck!

Hi MUZZY. yes I'm still here and spotting away Wink had lower abdominal cramps but had diarrhoea tmi sorry. So thinking maybe it's just a stomach bug. Something's not right. I got a BFN with DS (now 4yrs old) at first and then got BFP a week later. Wasn't expecting as wasn't trying so bit of a shock back then. So still hoping not just a stomach bug Confused

I'm didn't realise you had been trying for over two years. Ttc really takes it out of you. I'm exhausted and this will be our 6th month!

I'm on countdown to inlaws visiting...ain't to endure a week of them is bad enough but they will be going on and on about sil's baby and I'm not us how I'm going to cope. Sad

so who's going to be the first BFP on the new thread? Wink

my boss went on mat leave today, and I feel bad even saying this because she's lovely but thank god!! I don't have to sit and watch her rub her pregnant belly and chat about her plans for baby anymore. She knows I had a mc recently and has tried to be sensitive but I think everyone just thinks I should be 'over it' by now and won't quit with the pregnant chat.

juleslynn77 · 21/08/2013 16:40

Ouch pizzaqueen that must be tough ! A girl in our office has just announced her pregnancy dammit!!! I'll be glad when she's gone on her mat leave too but got quite a wait! Not had a MC so can't imagine how many million times worse it is Hmm sorry and hope it will be you that gets first BFP on this thread! Sounds like you deserve it X

pizza I'm with you on the people who think you should be 'over it' by now. I had the same, sensitive for a while after mc and now just about when my baby would have been due they are all banging on about their pregnancies, maternity leave, coping with two and all the stuff which I so badly want to be experiencing too. I just have to take myself away, only way I can handle it.

Welcome honey

dildoos sorry about af, but impressed with your positivity. Can I have some positivity too please?

good morning and welcome to all the new nutters Grin
liquid no opks anymore, they have an unhealthy influence on me, get totally obsessed Smile. so just temps cm and cervical position to obsess about for me... speaking of which, I had a huge temp drop this morning below my coverline. At 10 dpo what is that about?? so I'm not too positive about this cycle.
The meeting yesterday went well, they were suitably apologetic and made the right noises, but I'll await actual improvements...
I've booked today off and meeting DMum for lunch and a bit of shopping. can't wait to browse some shops and have a leisurely lunch with a glass of wine
jules so sorry about af, fingers xed for next month!
pizza totally get it re maternity leave. my neighbour is newly preg and I should be happy for them, of course I am, but at the same time I'm so jealous
