Sorry to hear things are difficult for you fedup, people sometimes seem to have a short memory or lack of understanding about how a mc can affect you.Sad

Hi ladies. Sorry for no writing. Had a hectic week- DS's social life not mine!- and also not much to write. Did 5 POAS. All negative including a early detection one this morning and period due tomorrow so not looking hopeful for me. Rubbish!
Just hope AF comes tomorrow rather than teasing me like last month and being bloody 7 days late.
Moan moan, sorry.
Sorry people were insensitive to you fedup I've got a couple of friends like that- I think until you've experienced a mc or delays in conceiving you're just clueless about the impact it has on people.
Here's hoping that ONE of us gets a BFP this weekend. Lots of us were due AFs weren't we.
Fingers crossed all.

Good luck for everyone expecting af this weekend. Think I'm out after my bfn yesterday but hopefully someone will bring some bfp news to this thread v soon!!

Hope you are ok kp. I too have POAS too many times this month. Suppose it hasn't got me anywhere but also hasn't led me to be hopeful right til the last minute (if that makes sense)

Someone else just said tonight about a holiday we are all going on in NEXT September - to Canada for the wedding Mentioned before - 'it will be ok for you, you only have one child' . Harsh.
Thanks for listening to my moans ladies. I'm just super sensitive at the mo and pick up on everything people say!

Keep up the good work g&t and all others dtd this weekend!

Fx for all the bfns to turn to bfps not over til the af arrives!! I have everything crossed for you all even my ovaries ! Xx

Fedup, that is darned insensitive. Do they know about your mc? What a self obsessed thing to say. Hope everything else was lovely. I'm sorry for the bfns, you must be absolutely confused after positive ic. Was it a dark line?

Hey dildoos - crossing your ovaries might be a good plan, could help with ttc?!

G&t - good work on the shagging!

Marbles, your plan sounds excellent. Positive lifestyle should lead to balance.

KP - sorry about bfn. This whole thing can really get us down. It's hard work.

Having said that I was watching a programme where a mother was sad her daughter was moving off to college. She said her younger child would be leaving soon, too - and that that made her really sad. I thought, there's a reason to have a bigger age gap, children in the house for longer. It's calmed me right down.

I thought I had ovulated about two weeks ago, but my temps have been all over the place, so I'm not at all sure now. By lmp i should be due monday. By suspected ov, thursday. Going on my hols for a week. Not going to temp, not going to poas. Wish me luck!

Ps. Hoping lots have tested too early and get bfp bythe ttime I get back!

geta that is a nice way to think about it. There are advantages to a bigger age gap, of course. I keep trying to bear them in mind. More time and energy to devote to each child too. And our first DS/DDs don't actually know any different. This is normal for them.

fedup you're not being oversensitive that was a really stupid thing to say.

Here's hoping the sun gets his hat back on today- that will help spirits won't it.

I watched Dirty Dancing last night to cheer myself up! Well I had a little cry over lovely Patrick Swayze but sometimes a little wallow is what you need eh!

Geta - that sounds like a plan!!! Hope it works out Nd you can relax!!

Fedup - I know sometimes people just don't think, and I don't mind because I appreciate that for us the memory of our mc will always be there but not for them. But that was particularly insensitive. I'm afraid I would've had to say something.

hi all, just me checking in. still no period, and 5 days late. yesterday i still got a BFN, can't poas as i was up in the night, so my wee isn't concentrated enough (sorry tmi). So still just waiting and hoping Hmm

Ok, so I don't even think I've ovulated yet but already symptom spotting. Feeling bloated and my trousers are, I swear, tighter than this time last week. Probably just too much food! I feel sick and dizzy.

I'm so annoyed because I know that these can't possibly to symptoms yet, and that my body is just messing with my head and that there are at least 14 days until I can test. Arggh! Why did I think that ttc #2 was going to be so much more laid back and chilled than last time. Fool. Sad

Hoping to see some bfps on here soon, Smile

No AF yet but one mother of a meltdown on husband after another BFN and an afternoon with a pregnant friend. Think it must be PMT as I was sobbing for ages. Not normal behaviour. Just hurry up and come now stupid AF.

KPidgeon - sorry about BFN. fedup and keepthecarrunning (and anyone else) - sorry about AF. Mine appears to have turned up too, a week late. Before I had DS1 my periods were like clockwork; no idea when anything is happening any more. Resisting buying ovulation sticks as I think it probably just feeds my paranoia. Ah well, onwards and upwards...

Really sorry to hear AF turning up for you fedup, champagne and keep . Hugs to you all.
Still hoping for you kp. I had a similar meltdown yesterday...sometimes it just hits you doesn't it.

I'm 7dpo now and have the start of a horrid cold....I did get a really faint line on an ic this morning but pretty sure it's just a evap line as I've done 2 since and nothing, plus I think a BFP is pretty impossible at 7dpo! No doubt ill be testing daily now.

bart how are you doing?

sorry to those who have af and bfn this week Sad

I've had pains in my right side tonight (ov?) but dp has put his back out and fell asleep, despite my heavy hinting to dtd. No positive on opk yet though so hoping maybe ov is still to come and the pain is something else? On cd 13 today and i got positive opk on cd18 last month. Hopefully his back is better and can dtd tomorrow.

Power through pizzaqueen! Hope your DH's back is better today.

Really sorry for all the bfns and afs, boo Sad.

I'm now in the 2ww, DH has gone away for the week so even though technically there was another 'window' to dtd today, that's it for this month. Just have to sit back and wait (drums fingers on desk.... ) I've been getting really bad cramping pains in my lower abdomen today and last night and feel really bloated. I'm guessing that it's all psychosomatic as surely too early for implantation pains? Any thoughts or a slap to tell me to stop symptom spotting much appreciated! Smile

Hope the sun is shining for your bank holidays.

Right AF has gone thank goodness! Inlaws are here though so not sure when or if we will DTD this week... Will have to try to sneak some in by Friday!

Need to cut down on my drinking....but can't stop this week - it's the only way to get through all the snide comments my mil is making!

Hope everyone else has better weeks than I'm having!

Hello ladies Smile sorry I have been a bit absent of late. Bad sickness and zero energy meant everything has been a bit of an effort!

I've got tablets for the sickness last week though which are helping so at least that's a start.

muzzy have you re-tested today? I really hope it is a bfp for you.

fedup yeah it was me that started the last thread so I'm hoping it is just as lucky for you this month Grin

I've read all the messages on the new thread but there is so much to go through! I will definately try harder from now on points finger at self welcome to all the newbies on here. It such a brilliant thread with so much support from people who are just as mental know what you are going through.

Sorry to those with bfn's and af Sad and those with tests coming up I know it must be very nerve wracking for you's. but surely if there is something wrong then the quicker you know about it, then the quicker you can look at getting it fixed Flowers and fingers crossed that there won't be anything wrong and your bfp's will be just round the corner

Hi, Can I join?

We have been half heartedly TTC for the past 3 Months but as of August have gotten serious (calculating CM and DTD on predicted ovulation days).

DC1 was an accident, so I'm not really sure what to expect, I'm already driving myself mad and googling all manner of things.

I used to be on the dot with my cycles, pre DC, each lasting 28 days but recently they have been 34,26,36!? I'm generally going on a 31 day cycle and my CM is a strong indicator as there is lots of EWCM (TMI...)

Would you recommend charting temps, has anyone got a similar cycle?
I'm in the 2ww now, hoping for a BFP for someone soon :)
