No no no pinky CM is normal!!! It's your little bundle of cells wriggling nice and deep into your womb so they can be nice and secure for the rest of your pregnancy.

Made up for you lovely, lots and lots of happy and healthy pregnancy wishes xxxxxxx

It's happened after I've done a poo. (Sorry tmi). Happened yesterday and again today. Still frightened as any blood I associate with mc.

Morning fedup!! Absolutely fabulous news!! It's really interesting reading your 'what I did differently' lost coz here's mine (so similar):

Stopped counting days/shagging to a timetable

Got a job interview and decided it's be easier if I weren't pregnant (have now been offered job)

Decided to enjoy the non-preg time (I.e. Not abstaining from alcohol in 2ww just in case)

Had a cervical smear (ok so I don't know if this helped or not, but I was 6 years overdue).

I wouldn't exactly call it relaxing, but more resigning to the fact that it'll happen when it wants and I'll have to wait.

If you come and join us on the due in August thread, you'll see that there are lots of women with pinky cm. I think it's normal (even though I've only had it when I mc, so I completely understand your feelings - I'd be the same)

Fedup, in the absence of my own bfp, i am feeling the excitement of yours! well done. So, you were thinking it was twins, no?!

Thank you for giving us all some hope.

Just read this thread title and thought this is definitely the place for me.
I tested once a few times before AF was due and as far as I remember got completely clear negitives no evap lines or anything. The day AF was due tested again and thought BFN again. The next morning I looked at the previous test again and there was an extremely faint line. I tested again that morning and got the same again. I thought if I test again today and it'll be stronger or I'm not pregnant. Did another three tests this morning (ICs) and again extremely extremely faint lines. They can only be seen in bright light. Do you think I've lost the plot or would it be unlikely to get so many evap lines? (I've ever noticed them before)

Report
sebsmummy1 · 02/12/2013 09:46

Tweaking, I think ICs are notorious for evap lines unfortunately. I convinced myself I was pregnant a few month ago after seeing very faint lines on ICs. I was really confused when they got no darker then lo and behold, AF arrived.

No more ICs for me. I will now only use high street brands and honestly won't believe it until I get a Digi to shout pregnant at me Grin

I hope this isn't the case for you obviously. But I would move away from the ICs and go and get a few Superdrug tests. The are really cheap and known to give you good early positives without the expensive of First Response etc.

Good luck xxxx

BFP with FR.... Smile maybe it's been all the hormones making me crazy.
I bought a double pack of tests and could wait. 2 clear lines (one is a bit fainter but nothing like the ICs)
Yeah!
Thanks sebs I needed a bit of a reality check otherwise if it had be negative I would have been gutted. But turns out my ICs are just crap. Smile

fedup i honestly don't think you've got anything to worry about. Bleeding is so common in early pregnancy. Brown blood is old blood. I would do a few digis and make sure your hormone level is going up then perhaps go for an early private scan. I had one with Seb at 9 weeks and it was lovely to know everything was as it should be.

Report
fedupofrainydays · 02/12/2013 22:10

Thanks ladies. I know it's common but I also had brown blood with my mc (never went red hence erpc) so it totally scares me.
Did a digi that says pregnant 1 to 2 weeks so I guess I'm pregnant today at least! Sorry to be so negative but I'm just so bloomin scared.

If this one lasts we are 100% getting an early scan at 8 weeks. I'm no way getting to almost 12 wks again to find my body had been pretending all was ok for 6 weeks.

Hope everyone is doing ok, and feeling chrstimassey. DS fave word of the week is "mismass" and keeps pointing out trees and presents in the shop windows! Feel kind of bad we didn't get a tree for him this weekend, but 30 nov felt just too early!!! This weekend we will...

Fedup, I think they can do even earlier ones, I had bleeding at 5-6 weeks when away in a different city and they did an internal scan that showed things were fine. good luck.

Fed up (wish I knew your actual name lol as you're obviously not fed up now!!!) how you doing today?

Report
fedupofrainydays · 03/12/2013 11:48

Ha ha! Now that would be telling... Wink I set that name when it was forever raining and I was stuck in doors with DS for weeks!! It wasn't because I was fed up of ttc but it did become like that after so many months.

I'm ok, stressed but trying not to be. Did another FR and was stressing the line wasn't darker than yesterday's but will do a better comparison tonight. It wasn't a good thing to try and do whilst legging it to work at 6.30 am.

I phoned the doctor as had some more funny discharge - waiting for them to ring me back. It happens after a poo (sorry tmi) so I think something is putting pressure on cervix and squeezing old blood out... Or it's related to my biopsy in October or its a chemical preg.. Or something different.

Holding on to the odd wave of sickness as hoping that's good news...
If this doesn't work out though. We got pregnant. We did. So we could get pregnant again. There isn't anything telling me we shouldn't. That's how I'm trying to think of it.

Good girl!!! Grin. Bit of positive thinking there at the end.

Well you are not allowed to run away and leave us, I need you flag waving when I eventually get to the finish line. We are going for the every other day technique this month, we started at cd 5 lol as I was horny Wink. There's only a few days that will be a hiccup. One is tomorrow night as OH away and the other is a day next week because he is away again!!! git

What cd did you stop BDing at?

Doctor rang me back and said try not to worry. They can't do anything til 6 or 7 weeks anyway as can't see anything on scan. Said its likely to be an implantation bleed as around time period is due and the link to doing a poo prob means its just squeezing it out! So upping the fibre, taking it easy and so trying not to stress check knickers every 15 mins

I'm not disappearing no! You will be flying that stick flag in no time sebs, I'm sure of it.

We stopped on day 14 (only cos I went away) and did one last time on cd 19. But I norm ovulated somewhere between cd 9 and cd 14 so prob had it covered. Don't worry about the days you miss, doctor told me that twice a week is optimum so I think your plan is fine!

Good good, I think you are going to be fine. Personally I'd be taking the strong implant bleed and the symptoms as a fab sign that this one is going to be a sticky.

Right, well although I haven't had that many 'true cycles' it seems that I am ovulating currently around the middle of the month. So I guess if we stopped BDing around cd 20 it should be cool. I normally find I get EWCM then it dries up on ovulation, so I'll see what it tells this month. I'm quite enjoying not pissing on sticks, it's liberating!!!!

Yes - I found no sticks and no thermometers quite a relief! And stopping having sex every day. It was too much with our stressful jobs and DS to look after.

DH has told me he's scared too. Means so much he's so badly wants DC2 as well. Obviously affected by the miscarriage and ttc pain more than I thought.
