Thanks for the advice all - think going to try every other day as poor DH was bit exhausted last time and it did end up feeling bit like a chore in the end, which isn't a nice thought for how our little bubba may start in this world - want it to be a good one if you know what i mean

Nottalotta My cycles are bit all over - range from 23-26, mostly hover round 24. Think i ovulate day 10ish. Haven't started down the OPK route yet as only 2nd cycle so going to give mother nature a chance...but if she doesn't hurry up then may look into it.

I have decided to wait with testing to after my friend has been here, if af have not yet showed up by that time (and I so much hope af does not show up, fingers crossed) then I test and will be more about the answer... Also because I would need to book a doc app and can't do that either while she is here, so bfp/af is due the 17/18 and I can test the 23th...

Anybody tried these * One Step Ultra Early 20mIU Pregnancy Midstream Tests - Pack of 5.. I just bought them on amazon for 3 pound something
The 100 pack is only around 9 pound but think my bf will kill me if I bought that

Italian I always buy the 10mui ones off eBay, they work out about 8p each! I just ordered a pack of 20 last night :)

I have the 20miu ones off Amazon too...they are "real" tests. But I also ordered the 10miu where you get 15 for about £2, and they are just the strips that you have to use by peeing into a container and dipping the strip. But I'm guessing the 10miu will be more sensitive?

I use the v cheap 10 miu strip tests too, so cheap you can test as much as you like without worrying about cost!

Hi I'm joining. I was kicked off the August bus by the witch A.F but then I could get my B.F.P at the end of August who knows.
I was not very hopeful about getting my B.F.P this month as the last time I did the deed was 3 weeks ago. He went away for three weeks and was back Thursday. I saw him yesterday we talked for a while as we had a lot to talk about. We managed to D.T.D last night and this morning so I can safely say I am back in the baby making mode.

Ladies, thanks for all of your recommendations for the pregnancy sticks, wish I had known there were the even more sensitive too but I am a rookie and only found these by accidents... But I am starting with these 5 and they should be here mid next week from amazon, luckily it was free delivery :) if I need more (still hoping not) then ill order a larger pot and the 10ish sticks... And then hide them from my bf, so he won't start thinking I am going mad... Lol
I btw always piac, don't know why, but feel better about doing it like that...

Hi RaRaz. It still doesn't feel right yet to call him my D.P and no it still did not feel right to tell about my hopes of getting pregnant I can't risk him running for the hills I mean if he does that after/if I fall pregnant then it's his loss. I've coped very well being a single parent to D.D so I'm sure I'll cope just as well this time around. I don't think I'll ever be able to be honest. Without going into great detail it was very different Friday and yesterday morning he made slow and gentle love to me both times .xx

Also Hi Bambi27. This month is so far so good will be amazing if I see the month out with my B.F.P as I'll be testing between 29-31 Aug if the witch doesn't turn up. xx

Hi seat sorry af got you so early, at least you know and you can get on with the next cycle without enduring the 2ww in its entirety!

Af visited me a few days early this cycle too, so am kind of straddling the August and September buses at the mo as not sure if bfp would be end of Aug or early Sept, although officially staying on the august bus as my recent cycles have been on the short side! Good luck for this month.

Jeez i'm getting impatient!! CD 7 for me, and DH been away for a few days and is returning tomorrow. Hopefully having had to 'go without' for the weekend will mean that we dtd plenty this week! I had a 25 day cycle last time so seems that my fertile window will start tomorrow for a week. According to my app!

One angel July hence ttc was shock just want to be pregnant NOW

Gutted but glad AF as first since mc although dr recommended wait one cycle we tried and failed. I used clearblue opk but showed 7 flashing and 2 blanks no peak not quite sure even if I ovulated and this was day 17 started cycle was 30 days long so BFP due 7th or 9 th sept yay

Doing whatever it takes this month would love some hand holding and advice not sure whether to go for gold or get the ovul pack again maybe 20 stick boots one? Wouldn't rate clearblue tbh but maybe as first since mc I didn't ovulate?

Don't even know when to start testing really when possible to ovulate and each app has different info any help ? Please

Hi Positivementakattitude. Welcome to the thread. Sorry to hear about your m.c. and he/she will always be your baby. I too had a m.c prior to having my D.D, there would have been 11 months between them. However I do often wonder if my first pregnancy would have been sucsessful would I had my D.D. Well, that's something I'll never know. My angel will always have a very special place in heart. As far as I'm concerned I have 2 D.C and hopefully one day I will have 3 D.C. xx
