m33r I think you should think about buying those sticks, the cheap ones are just as good, just a bit more difficult to read (I think) ... I was really chocked when I found out that my fertile days is clearly after the ones given in the calculator, the last couple of months I been only relying on that one, so hoping this month will be the month, now where I actually managed to find my true fertile days...

Oh and heads up all of you lovely women, I went down to my local Tesco last night, to see if they had more of those Clearblue on clearance (I know, I am desperate and want to stock up, lol) and they told me that a lot of Tescos have this clearance at the moment with these Clearblues, because apparently a new model is going to come in to the market. So if you live near a Tesco and use them, then try looking at the clearance shelf there... Mine was 8.75, use to be 35!

Hey I'm still clinging On to the August bus however quick question... Is there a certain time of day your are sposed to use the ovulation sticks?

Report
ItalianWiking84 · 06/08/2013 09:43

Empriscillavoss
They say you should use the same time a day, not in the morning, and not drink really heavily (like 2 liters of water and coffees) 2 hours before testing

I think it depends on the brand. As CB instruction say you should use FMU.

I'm still none the wiser on expected bfp date as af STILL hasn't appeared! Had all the signs she was imminent on Saturday (bad cramps) and today still nothing! I'll keep my seat up the back and just wait I suppose.

I think the cramps were too severe for them to be a pg symptom. I've ordered ic tests that arrive Monday so if she's still not here I'll test. Sure I can't be lucky enough to get pg straight off the mark!

WillowsTree I have 3 friends who did that.... So I am keeping my fingers crossed for you...

Thanks for the clearing, Jaykay :)

Hello I'm skipping the August bus as my cycles are so long (38-39 days) I won't get to test before the beginning of sept now so:

Hi willowstree. It happens more than you'd think. Fingers crossed!

Italianviking, I'm heading to Tesco asap. Thanks for the tip; I hate the non-digi ones as I'm never confident of my reading.

I tend to do a couple of ov tests a day cause your hormone levels could rise after you do one and then fall again before you do the next one a day later. I bought cheapies from Amazon and they seem to work fine for me.

Crampy now so downing the ibuprofen and snacking on Brie (while I still can) considering spotting's still an issue the B6 is going up 100-fx it works!
