This weekend Disney!! Sending lots of luck your way. Give us some lovely encouraging news. No pressure Grin

VJONES1985 · 27/08/2013 17:43

Yeah,it's gone really fast mama. At least work will take my mind off ttc so much but work is very stressful so I hope it doesn't have the opposite effect.

DisneyDiva87 · 27/08/2013 17:44

Oh dear! I don't want to be one of the first! Or at least if I have to be the first it better be a bfp, that's a fair deal right?

Hoping someone can help me, I've had ewcm again today but I'm approx 10dpo. Does anyone know why?x

DisneyDiva87 · 27/08/2013 17:50

was it clear or was it a white-ish colour?

mama31 · 27/08/2013 17:50

Disney I hope you are the first!! But don't feel pressure it will happen at the time it is meant to happen and is completely out of our control (even tho we think we can control it in our heads :/)

Nulanoo · 27/08/2013 17:53

Clear I think x

mama31 · 27/08/2013 17:54

VJ I know the feeling my job becomes much more stressful during term time so will be picking up the pace a lot from next week but like u it will take my mind off preg testing complusively! Lol I think a bit of work stress is healthy and keeps life in perspective so shouldn't interfere too much with ttc unless you are stressed to the max to a very unhealthy level then its important to take time out to relax and unwind....that's what wine is for apparently ;) medicinal purposes hahaha!

DisneyDiva87 · 27/08/2013 17:57

If it was white-ish then it wasn't proper EWCM if it was clear then maybe the last time you didn't actually ovulate? I don't know... sorry this is a bit ambiguous but I guess that's TTC all over!

Home time for me girls Grin if I get a chance I'll pop in later I'm in a silly 'information blitz' meeting for the rest of the week so I'll be MIA during the day, should help the time pass quicker for me till the weekend though.

Well all your symptoms so far sound really promising disney :) I always get scared about poas as well but I can't hold out if I know there's a chance and they are in the house!! Haha that sounds like I'm an addict doesn't it?!

mama31 · 27/08/2013 18:00

Yes good luck disney!! Will be looking out at the wkend for your news :)

mrsmummytobe · 27/08/2013 18:01

Btw just out of interest, how many of us on this thread are teachers? I am & it sounds like quite a few others are too! I was hoping to conceive over the summer hols as I have definitely been more relaxed but I guess we will wait & see..!!

DisneyDiva87 · 27/08/2013 18:03

(I cant keep away!). I came on to say a packet of parma violets fell out of my bag, MAGIC! that'll keep me going till i get home.

It's the regular dreams I'm having that are making me inclined to believe there is a chance I may get it this month. Although it would be a 1 shag wonder if I did so not entirely convinced. We shall see!

Ah ok maybe the. As i only came off the pill July so I'm still getting used to my body and its weird ways! Got back ache today so maybe I am ovulating, who knows!! I'm a teacher so not looking forward to next week!

DisneyDiva87 · 27/08/2013 18:08

I'm not a teacher but I work at a university, IT services so nothing exciting. Turn it off and on again is our mantra.

So a nervous day spent fidgeting in the office, bought a pack of clear blue digi (a tenner in asda if anyone is wondering where's cheaper) AND (drumroll please) pregnant 1-2 weeks! I have a spare digi sill wrapped up (double pack) if anyone's keen? Don't worry about postage etc. let me know!

Fingers crossed Disney! Hope you hav some great news soon

mrsmummytobe · 27/08/2013 18:12

Yayy congratulations nanny! So pleased & excited for you Grin

gillywillywoo · 27/08/2013 18:12

In the hairdressers at the mo and my stylist told me it took her 6 months of using OPKs, temping and dtd at the exact right time every month before she got her bfp.

She said she was starting to feel like there was something wrong and was feeling worried and then it suddenly happened Smile

Feeling better about it now and hoping it happens soon!

In theory DH and I have been trying since January but the first few months were pointless because I had no idea when I was ovulating and we were dtd at the totally wrong time!!! Annoying!

This will be our 4th month of using OPKs and properly trying. Fingers crossed! I want a bfp before the end of the year! Lets make it happen!!!

VJONES1985 · 27/08/2013 18:15

I'm a teacher! Bring on the stress! I teach infants and this year I have a Reception class :)

VJONES1985 · 27/08/2013 18:15

Gilly That has made me feel better too :)

gillywillywoo · 27/08/2013 18:17

Also makes me wish I started using OPKs as soon as I came off the pill.

mama31 · 27/08/2013 18:21

Nanny that's amazing news!!! I'm sure you were super excited to see the 1-2 weeks!! How amazing is that!!! :) how long have you been ttc?? (Too lazy to look up the stats)

Nulanoo I know what you mean...I came off the pill on 22nd july, had first AF on 12th August so just a guess that I was ovulating over the wkend past there but no concrete evidence that I was which is really annoying!!!

Gillywillywoo yes its good to hear that it will happen when it happens and that it takes longer for some than others! Just hoping the wait for us all isn't too long!

mrsmummytobe · 27/08/2013 18:21

Woo I thought there were a few teachers on here :) Not looking forward to next week though - I've got far too used to the holidays!

That's really reassuring gilly. Are you temping as well?

wispaxmas · 27/08/2013 18:23

Not a teacher, but I'm an education officer with the national trust, so deal with family learning and school trips. Totally fun.

mama31 · 27/08/2013 18:24

I'm a truancy officer.... Hope some people send their kids back to school next wk :/ lol
