hello am crashing again :).
Trace, firstly no simptoms doesn't mean no pg, especially so early on, and even if you've had simptoms with your previous pregnancies every pregnancy is different and what happens in one doesn't necessarily happen in another, so I definitely wouldn't dismiss pregnancy purely on the basis of lack of simptoms. Also, you're only on about day .. er .. 26 or so? very very early to get a positive test, remember that your previous cycles have been 23 days based on the fact you've not been ovulating, so if you've ovulated this month then it's very plausible that your cycle will be longer than it has been recently. With regard to af type pains, I have no knowledge of chlomid but I have a theory .. possibly I'm just barking but here goes ..
As you've previously not been ovulating, the lining of your uterus hasn't thickened as it should have done during the last part of your cycle. But as you've ovulated this month, it's possible that the lining o your uterus has thickened as it should, and the increased blood supply to the uterus is causing the pains, similar to when we get pains in the first trimester of pregnancy, these are caused by increased blood flow to the uterus, and imo this could be what's happening in your case too, as your uterus is unused to this amount of blood flow. If you're concerned, then you should see your gp, esp in light of your infection a few months back.
And wait another week before testing if af does 't arrive
good luck xx
