i have been doing it for a few months now, it would be good to compare with others who do this

My CM is pretty good at the moment I have been taking OEP up til day 13 and this has really helped.
I am now getting EWCM for around 3 days and the other kind for about 7-9 days before.
As trace says nag alot about CM!! ad acn direct yu to a good website with pictures! \link{http://www.fertilityuk.org/\here}
At them moment I'm not worried about tests, it's still very early on for me. I did get the egg on my persona which suggested I am also oving but not every month and I put this down to not weeing on the stick right. To be honest I'm trying to take things slowly and not get too worked up abut it all and was thinking of stopping my temping soon too- I think this will depend on how I feel in a month or too! I'm amazed at how disciplined I have been about it all

naditude · 27/03/2006 21:50

Hi rubles, sorry about your loss too.

Good luck with future months though. Smile

Sorry Peachy - I didn't read your previous post correctly. And you are so right, you are best not getting too hung up on it. I wish I hadn't!

Hope all works out well whatever you want to do! Smile

naditude · 27/03/2006 21:54

By the way, I've been taking Evening primrose oil too but i think the clomid dried the fluid up! I can't win.

hi there

would love to join as well.we are now ttc for the first month,i just had my period .today on cd11 but cant really rely on cm.so instead i watch out for cervix position and bbt.

trace2 · 28/03/2006 18:24

hi fresco , wecome, its a good day to start i usally start on day 9 but for your first month it would be ok

OP posts:
peachygirl · 28/03/2006 19:01

Hi all
Fresco did I post to you before about evening primrose? this really helped my CM. people on here also drink grapefruit juice but I couldn't stick at it. sometimes clinics recommend robotussin cough medicne too
I'm on day 5 and 35.9 temp wise. we must remember that our temp rises after ov so lots of Bding before! when I last went to the clinic I was a bit confused and thought it happend when I oved the nurse said I was being too keen in trying to spot it Blush

trace2 · 28/03/2006 19:10

HI PEACHY, THIS IS FIRST MONTH I HAD A RISE so am hoping i did ovulate, as its still a bit higher than normal

OP posts:
Piffle · 28/03/2006 20:30

I'd like to talk about it too - I'm so rubbish at doing it first thing I need a kick up the bum.
Have done it ok this month - it has pinpointed ov date on day 10 Shock yet I get ov pains on cd 16 normally of 29 day cycle.
I also am using a saliva microscope and have bought Toni Weschlers book so will be temping and charting properly from this day on.

peachygirl · 28/03/2006 21:02

Piffle you could have had what's known as a 'temp spike' if you had a hig temp on day 10 did your temp stay high? or did it go down?
Trace that good news about your rise

trace2 · 29/03/2006 08:07

hi Piffle, it could be like peachy says, mines gone up 1 to 36.70, but like i said at least it went up this month, hope it does same next month

OP posts:
Piffle · 29/03/2006 10:34

temp has dropped today, big time below anything else all cycle, in Toni weschlers book it says some women drop a lot on day of ovulation, am on cd 15, do normally get ov pains cd 15-17 so that figures in too.
Have been bding frequently in any case Grin

rubles · 29/03/2006 11:09

Piffle, I get a dip at ov time. If that is what it is, it is really helpful as it means you know in advance. The best thing you can do is bd as you have been doing and wait for a sustained temperature rise.

Piffle · 29/03/2006 11:11

well dp is working from home due to dd being ill so he's ... available all day!!!!!!

rubles · 29/03/2006 11:12

Go girl!!

peachygirl · 29/03/2006 11:55

rubles is right the temp rise should be consistent for at least thee day (thats what you have to count when using it for contraception)
just pottering o n for me but very early days for this cycle

rubles · 29/03/2006 11:59

peachygirl, how do you find using it for contraception? does it become a bind? Do you feel confident with it?
