Right, have read back through, and had to make notes so I don't miss anyone out!!

Amy - what a stressful time you have had, I hope that you are managing to rest. When are you next seeing your consultant? Congrats on DS3!

Mias, you are a truly insprational lady x

I only managed to pack away Nancy's clothes because we moved house - I cried the whole time. We took her stuff into storage when we put the house on the market (estate agent walked in, saw all the stuff - prams etc, and said 'oh, have you had a baby'! I burst into tears as I explained & he felt awful but not his fault) - DH said that we weren't packing her away, she was just moving before us.

Blizy - I hope you have an amazing honeymoon/anniversary holiday - it sounds ilke such a lovely break after such a hard time for you x Enjoy, and looking forward to seeing pics when you get back :)

Angel - just one more sleep before boiler-day - yay!! I hope Phebs is feeling better, and that work calms down a bit for you soon. Would you prefer to 'act up' once your boss has left, or for them to advertise? Would you apply for the promotion? I hope that you are able to relax in your warm house this weekend after the stress of this week.

Kleine, well done for calling to make the appointment with your consultant, it's so hard to make that first call - well done. I hope that the time passes quickly until your aqppointment next week x

Fan - thanks for the link to the flight of the conchords - cheered me up Grin. I hope your crocheting is going well - I wish I had the patience to be more crafty. I am intending to make my christmas cards this year, but still haven't started them yet! I hope your DH enjoyed his birthday!!

blue - wow, not long now, hope you are ok and that the days aren't dragging too much x

rainbox hope your doing ok x

Green Angry your DH is away again, it must be so hard. Much as I like a bit of time to myself, I really miss DH if he's out any more than an evening Blush Did you manage to get a new sink? My DSis broke our (relatively new) sink at home years ago - my DM & DSD weren't impressed!!!

babyh glad your counselling is working. I have had a couple of sessions now and I do think it helps, although too much on at the moment - will explain shortly. Shopping coming on ok thanks - it's hard, isn't it, especially all the cute baby outfits.

Moomins wow, 27 weeks - you've come so far, well done! How are you feeling (apart from the progesterone of course).

Spilt poor Freya (and you and DH), I hope that she gets better v v soon x

wtw it is so lovely to see your girls on the pics, I hope that you are all getting on ok.

I'm sorry if I've missed anyone - [waves] to everyone else.

Well I'm having a pretty shitty time at the moment really - probably mainly because I still haven't had an appointment with my GP to discuss ADs and so I have come off them cold turkey which is really not sensible, and I have turned into a gibbering wreck a lot of the time. My DMum has gone into hospital for a hip replacement today, and she will be recovering at ours when she comes out of hospital, which I'm a little anxious about although I'm sure it will be absolutely fine. My DUncle is having more tests at the moment for his lung cancer with a view to starting his radiotherapy next week. I have an appointment with my consultant tomorrow, and I'm terrified that there will be a problem with the baby. Will be talking to her about the AD situation - I'm sure she will know the safest type to take while pg. Also want to find out a schedule of care & appointments for the rest of the pg. Also not sleeping brilliantly so am even more shattered than I am anyway.

Sorry for the epic essay of a post Thanks

Ellypoo · 15/11/2012 19:35

spilttheteaagain · 15/11/2012 20:13

elly thats a lot going on. Have you heard how your mum's op has gone? DH's gran has had both hips replaced now (not at the same time) and it's really helped, they get you up and moving really soon afterwards. It sounds like the ADs are the big issue at the moment and making everything else much harder. I really hope your consultant can either help or at least recommend you the drugs to ask for from your GP. Is it difficult to see your GP? Good luck for the appt tomorrow, is it a scan as well?

I had a really good GP appointment today, I was a bit nervous as I thought I might be seen to be having a bit of a whinge, - went in to talk about being lethargic & tired all the time and also about struggling to maintain own weight. I have an underactive thyroid anyway so was wondering if my dose was wrong, and a history of low ferritin which could explain the knackeredness, and a weird family history of non typical type 2 diabetes that seems to show up in those of us with crappy thyroids despite being skinny scraps with good diets/some exercise - apparently likely to be autoimmune related. So have had half an arm of blood removed, he's going to town and doing thyroid, diabetes, vit D, B12, folate and ferritin! Quite impressed tbh, I just have a niggling feeling that somethings not quite right, I don't feel enttirely well. Hoping it's something nice and simple like needing iron.

Go blue!

fanjodisfunction · 15/11/2012 20:14

blue oh my! A live birth on here, oh I'm so excited. I'm here to hold your hand. Not sure I will sleep tonight.

Bluetinkerbell · 15/11/2012 20:18

fan not sure I will either! Would love to have this baby out by morning to see E's face when she wakes up!

fanjodisfunction · 15/11/2012 20:20

blue that would be amazing. I'm cheering you on from down here. Have you got your birthing ball out?

Bluetinkerbell · 15/11/2012 20:22

Yep bouncing on it right now as baby is slightly back to back... Hence the painful back contractions! DH had gone to Tesco to get eggs to make an omelette and he's bringing me trifle too! :)

fanjodisfunction · 15/11/2012 20:25

Trifle YUM! FX the baby turns, keep bouncing.

fanjodisfunction · 15/11/2012 20:28

You having any pain yet blue?

Moominsarescary · 15/11/2012 20:29

Yay a babies coming!! Good luck blue x

fanjodisfunction · 15/11/2012 20:32

I meant like really bad painful contractions. Oh I'm a bit giddy for you blue, DH keeps looking at me like I'm a bit insane. Lol.

I'm sure Sterre is looking down on you tonight.

Bluetinkerbell · 15/11/2012 20:34

They're painful but just about bearable... I have the Tens machine on though which is lovely!

Ellypoo · 15/11/2012 20:35

Woohoo blue, enjoy trifle & bouncing!!

spilt, yes she is on the extended care ward now, think it went ok. She had her hip replaced a few years ago, but the one that they replaced it with has had a safety recall & has been leaching some metal into her blood, and has caused more damage to the remaining bones, so this one is a bit more complicated and likely to be a harder, longer recovery - I'm sure she will be fine though :) My GP only works 2 days a week, so I have an appointment for 2 weeks time, but will try to get an emergency appointment next week.

Glad your appointment was positive - it's really good that they took you seriously and actually did something to try to find out what's wrong. When will you get the results back, do you know?

Ellypoo · 15/11/2012 20:36

Sorry, enjoy was probably the wrong thing to say blue. I hope the TENS machine helps, and that the bouncing helps to turn the baby round!!

Whatevertheweather · 15/11/2012 20:37

Oh crumbs blue!! Haven't managed to get on here for a few days and now I pop on to find you in early labour!! Wow! Go go babyblue - out before sunrise would be amazing!

Love and hugs to all - sorry not to name check but am reading and thinking of you all.

Loved our hot chocolate meeting fan Grin I noticed costa are doing black
Forest hot chocolate - next time?! K is so thrilled with her handmade gloves - I don't even have to nag her to wear them, result!!

All well here - revelling in my lovely girls. Had a few reflux problems with poor Holly - she's now on infant gaviscon which is helping. Fighting a lot of guilty feelings and tears around Erin at the moment - my mum suggested I go for some counselling. Stupid work declined my flexi work request so I'll be back full time in march SadSad

fanjodisfunction · 15/11/2012 20:37

Turn all the lights down low and try to relax and hopefully the little one will be here very soon.

fanjodisfunction · 15/11/2012 20:41

wtw I'm glad she is enjoying them. I sent the little hug and squares for cup today, pistey should get them tomorrow so check the thread out.

Go blue go!!!!

spilttheteaagain · 15/11/2012 20:54

A week to 10 days ish elly, but yes, lovely to feel looked after. Glad your mum has come round ok, I always feel thats the scariest bit.

Oh wtw that is so crap about work, I'm really sorry Sad Do you have a load of annual leave you can use say 1/2days a week for a while to ease you into it? So crap Sad

Hehe, just picturing blue scoffing her trifle whilst bouncing, hope it doesn't make you feel sick! Word to the wise - keep weeing. Full bladder does not a speedy labour make Will be checking lots for updates! xx

Ellypoo · 15/11/2012 20:56

Oh wtw, I can only begin to imagine the massive conflict of emotions that you must be feeling at the moment. Not helped by your stupid work - is there any way round it (working from home a day or so a week perhaps?). Counselling is a great idea - how do you feel about it? My friends with rainbows really struggled & still do with it all, it never goes away - E will always be there with you all. It's all just so hard - just different triggers and combinations of feelings ((hugs))

How are you doing blue?

Whatevertheweather · 15/11/2012 21:06

Thank you spilt and elly I'm tacking all my AL on to the end of ML and then will have to take all of 2013 in school holidays so I can be there for Katie. I have appealed and asked for 2 half days instead so will see what they say! I am lucky though that I'm based from home when not out in clients premises so hopefully I'll be able to sneak to my mums for quick daytime cuddles on the days that she has her. Might look in to counselling Elly bit scared of stirring things up that I'm quite successfully repressing at the moment Confused Am sure theres logic there somewhere?!

Anyway enough of me - how's the breathing blue? Have you been in the pool yet?!

Bluetinkerbell · 15/11/2012 21:18

Haven't got a pool! Contractions are coming quicker... Just had omelette and oven chips, trifle later :)

fanjodisfunction · 15/11/2012 21:23

Have a nice bath blue, that might help.
