Hi everyone

panda I hope you're ok. I felt so emotional after my mc but I feel much stronger now.

Hi suzy so sorry to hear about your mc. I've found this thread really helpful since mine. I think we might have been in the same March group?

kitty I am so sorry about your mc. Thinking of you.

posy fx that you get a bfp tomorrow!

Well, af came today for me - first one since mc. At least it means the end of the wtf cycle. Even a few days ago, I was desperate to get pg this cycle. But I've been having a tiny amount of spotting and brown discharge when I wiped - I started to think that actually this is probably a sign that my body isn't quite ready for another pg. Perhaps I need this time to recover totally before I do get pg again. I think this is why I hadn't tested yet - I almost knew that my body wasn't right. I'm also going to try not to symptom spot next month although I'm sure I will! As I said earlier in the thread, I'm off to Australia next week for about 3 weeks and I will now be able to scuba dive on great barrier reef. I would have much rather been pg but this hasn't happened. And hopefully by the time I actually get to Australia, af will be over! I think that the holiday will be perfect for lots of relaxed and enjoyable dtd so hopefully I will get lucky and get pg in September and conceive an Australian baby!

kittykatsforever · 18/08/2012 07:01

Woody is it still brown spotting or have you started af properly?
I found af after mc very heavy like my body did need to clear out and got pg the second cycle but that was almost more messed up then the first! Hopefully not for you!
What better way to get over it then a holliday to oz! Smile

Lolcbcb · 18/08/2012 07:55

Well feel a little positive today. Yesterday I was at a bday party and one of the girls at work said to me - how come u have lost so much weight? Have u had a miscarriage?
I then told her the truth and the told me she had 4! She has 4 kids, her last one born when she was 43. She said - I know it is heart breaking but it means you can make a baby and that is more than many people! Now that it happened it will happen again for you. This was a practice run and next time you will make a perfect baby!
Feel slightly cheered up.

woody17 · 18/08/2012 08:34

kitty af started properly yesterday. It's not too heavy but there are quite a few clots etc. When the brown discharge didn't stop and had tiny clot things in it, I just felt that my body obviously wasn't ready for a new pg yet. Yes I am so excited about Australia - think it also helps that af will almost be over when I leave and I'll be due a few days after I get back. Think this month will go by really quickly.

Glad you are feeling more positive lolcbcb

posypoo · 18/08/2012 10:44

Sorry to hear that AF has arrived Woody, but at least the WTF cycle is over and you will know more where you are next month. At least you can now go on your amazing holiday and properly relax, and forget about ttc, and who knows, you might be posting on your return about your surprise Aussie BFP!
xx

PS I haven't tested today as my HPTs haven't arrived in the post yet... Am thinking I might wait til Monday anyway, as I am only 11dpo and last time I only got a positive at 13dpo. Though that might change if my HPTs arrive today of course!

Woody your holiday sounds amazing and will def help with forgetting about TTC. I am still very much in 2 minds. One side of me would love to get a BFP this month but the other feels my body may not be ready. I keep getting some weird crampy pains in my uterus area. Not period like, more like the v early stages of mc. I'm hoping it's nothing to worry about. My AF is due a wk tomor but I think my cycle is out of synch it may be later. When did yours come? Have an amazing time in Oz and enjoy the scuba diving!!!

Almond301 · 18/08/2012 13:57

Posy ooo fingers crossed for you!

jessiethecowgirl · 18/08/2012 22:25

Woody am so sorry to hear about AF but as the others have said its good that the wtf cycle is over, and now this new cycle is a fresh new start!! And it sounds like you're having the right positive attitude about this, and really understanding where your body is at. I bet you'll have a wonderful time in Aus, enjoy the scuba diving, and of course the DTD :) You'll have your BFP in no time I'm sure!

Fx posy!

Lolcbcb · 19/08/2012 10:56

Have all of u lovely ladies had af after mc? I'm still on wtf cycle and hoping against hope I'm pg. have all sorts off made up symptoms!!!
Af due today or tomorrow which means its one month I've lost my baby. That is sad.
U guys have helped do much, you've no idea x

Almond301 · 19/08/2012 11:12

Hi Lol

I am still on the WTF cycle too...bloody taking ages it feels! I am on CD22 so should in theory get my AF a week today. I think it will be late as still not convinced I have OV yet. I think it will be tourtours if I get to Sun and still no AF or BFP. Are you poas soon (cant remember where everyone is)??

Lolcbcb · 19/08/2012 11:15

Hi almond
Af should come today or tomorrow as its one month since I've lost my baby Sad
I'll poas on sat if it's not here yet. Don't want to do it during the week as I'm covering a huge branch and can't be upset about bfn. My boss gave me this opportunity to prove myself as I'm next in line for promotion although I'd much rather be on mat leave so I don't want to mess it up.
Will poas sat if nothing till then. Will u do it sat too? We could set a date Smile

Almond301 · 19/08/2012 11:30

Hi Lol,

What do you do work? I know how you feel, one of our directors came in the day I went back to work after my mmc and sat me down and said I was on a 'succession plan' and what did I want out of my career blah blah and I was like you! I just wanted to reply 'I want to be pregnant and on mat leave thank you very much!'. Oh well, bad timing I guess!

I was going to test on Sunday...we can have a test weekend! I have got a million pg tests so thought I would waste one trying nice PMA! I think this week is going to be long but at least we have the bank holiday to look forward to! x

Lolcbcb · 19/08/2012 11:37

I'm a branch manager in a bank. What about you?
Yeah exactly I am on a succession plan too! My boss is also my friend but there is only so much I can say. Cause if I'm not preg I'll take the promotion so need to keep the door open.
Yay let's test sat!
Anyone else want to join us?
I have 8 tests available at home. 5 nhs type ones from amazon, 2 boots ones and 2 cb digital which I will only use if the others are bfp.
Let's hope af doesn't show till sat x

Almond301 · 19/08/2012 11:58

I work as part of the landlord team of a big shopping centre so based there onsite doing operations and lease enquires etc. Ive been doing it awhile and planning a career change (baby dependent) in next couple of years as I'm not sure it's what I want to do forever!

Sat it is!! Also forgot to mention it but sorry about it being 1 month on Sad. Fingers crossed for that BFP xx

Vixjane · 19/08/2012 13:12

Fingers crossed for you guys testing next weekend. I'm still on the WTF cycle, think i ov on Friday so prob about 2 weeks till AF.

woody sorry af has arrived but hope you have a fab holiday, the barrier reef is amazing!

posypoo · 19/08/2012 13:54

Hi Lol my mc was a month ago tomorrow too Sad

My WTF cycle officially ended today as AF arrived (not before I dived into a Boots on a whim and did a two pack of tests, ha ha). Although in a way I am glad it's over now and I can get back to 'normal' (though a BFP would have obviously been good too!)

Hope you're all doing well. Jessie how are you feeling? xx

PedanticPanda · 19/08/2012 14:15

Hi, thanks for all of your lovely replies. I'm doing my dissertation just now so that's keeping me busy but I don't want to be too busy to think about it iykwim. On Friday I had to go to the library to work on my dissertation but just wanted to stay in bed all day, I felt like just getting up and getting on with life was me just moving on and forgetting about it as if it wasn't important.

DP and I have decided to try again though, I've stopped bleeding now but am not sure when I will ovulate, is it 2 weeks after the mc or 2 weeks after the bleeding stops?

I'm jealous Woody, Australia is beautiful Grin, I hope you enjoy yourself!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for everyone testing this weekend xxx

PedanticPanda · 19/08/2012 14:16

Oh just seen your post posypoo (what a slow typer I must be!!), really sorry Sad

posypoo · 19/08/2012 14:25

Hi Pedantic, no worries!

I know what you mean - I went to Peppa Pig world the next day with my LO (so not exactly relaxing!), but I made sure I had a day to myself to do nothing later on in the week though.

From my symptoms I think I ovulated 20 days after passing the sac, and AF arrived 12 days after that. Everyone is different though of course. We started ttc again straight away, but it was about 2 weeks after the bleeding started that it stopped, so that gave me time to start to feel ready again. I felt completely different after the bleeding stopped - so much better, as did others on this thread.

Hope you start to feel back to normal again soon. xx

posypoo · 19/08/2012 14:26

Sorry, just seen you've stopped bleeding so ignore previous post (toddler yelling at me in background!), so that's brilliant - pleased for you that that bit is over!
x

jessiethecowgirl · 19/08/2012 18:36

Am feeling okay posy no major symptoms yet (but only 4.4 weeks). Just super sore boobs and really tired!!

pedantic no one can really say when they'll Ov after mc, but for me it was 2 weeks after the start of the major bleed.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Lolcbcb · 19/08/2012 19:11

When did u poas Jessie? Was it first cycle after mc?
Hope everything goes smoothly for u this time x

Carikube · 20/08/2012 00:37

Congrats Jessie and welcome to all those who have joined the thread since I last posted.
Life has rather caught up with me but I have been following what others have been posting. AF is arriving (I think!); the build up has been quite hideous this time - cramps a lot worse than usual, major emotional meltdown etc. There is no point in POAS this cycle as we haven't DTD; we're moving house in 10 days and the building work where we're moving to isn't finished and we're both getting really quite stressed about everything we still need to sort out so there haven't been too many romantic moments. DH has said that he is happy to try again for DC3 but tbh I really don't think either of us will be in a good enough state to give it our best efforts (Grin) for some time so if it does ever happen it will be more by accident than design.

Fingers crossed though for all those of you who are going to POAS in the next week or so - looking forward to hearing some good news stories!

jessiethecowgirl · 20/08/2012 07:15

lolcbcb my cycle pretty much matched my normal cycle, if I count my first day of mc (the heavy bleed day) as CD1, except I may havee OV'd a few days later, like CD18 rather than CD14 if I go off the CD Digital BFP dates..
Am feeling really nervous today. Really really really want this one to stick. Trying to keep rested
