Sorry about the BFNs.

Still haven't had another smiley since last Monday, despite a little bit of ewcm yesterday. Thinking that maybe yesterday's ewcm meant nothing and I did ov earlier.

Still feeling really nauseous (apart from when I eat) and having twinges in boobs and lower abdomen. And cm has gone back to being creamy and there is a lot of it (sorry for tmi).

messtins sorry you're having to wait - when are you going to test again?

YorkshirePeanut Do you think that you need to test with FMU?

Report
messtins · 08/10/2012 08:06

Commiserations for all the BFNs. YP in particular I hope you get a BFP or AF soon. Am only about a week late waiting for AF in first cycle and already really frustrated with it.
Would prefer not to have an August baby but it certainly wouldn't stop me trying for that month. Have long ago concluded you just can't arrange these things to suit yourself!

Report
Lolcbcblemonlime · 07/10/2012 21:30

Yeah I agree on the August baby thing! Would not worry as I'm sure things will turn out ok if that's the case!
Almond- I was also following the 7lbs in 7 days but also changed a lot and drank the juices I fancied! I really enjoyed it and will def do again.

Evening all! Another BFN to add to the pile here. No surprises but still rubbish Sad, spent all day feeling ridiculously excited about testing when I got home and was unreasonably upset when the test said no! I'm trying to limit myself to one test a week now before I go mad (and broke) so FX for next Sunday. Group hug for all the disappointed POAS-ers. Not today but soon ladies x

Almond yes you need a juicer, and lots of apples haha! I do it every few months, but I also drink a lot of juices anyway even when I'm not detoxing so it was worth the investment. Mine is loosely based on Jason Vale's 7lbs in 7 days, not sure which one lol does but I imagine it's by the same guy if not the same book!

Woody CM is a mystery to me but fx it means you're super fertile and you have a passenger on board for Rome!

Woody and Mess that is what I heard. But someone also said you saved a year on childcare (we'll need that we the new house ;-)) so there is always a silver lining! I think I would rather have a new born in the summer though with the chance to get out and about in ok weather than in January (probably wishful thinking with the weather but you know what I mean).

messtins · 07/10/2012 19:44

Woody it's supposed to be a disadvantage to be an August baby as you'll be the youngest in the school year and go to school when you are just turned 4. Can be a disadvantage throughout school career apparently. My DH is Aug 29th and he turned out ok!

Evening everyone

Been testing a recipe for the mumsnet cookbook tonight!

munchin sorry you got a BFN. Hopefully you will still get your BFP in a few days.

almond what have you heard about august babies?
I am really confused to be honest. I've been using the CB sticks every day and I've only had one smiley on the Monday. I'm just wondering if today was just cm and not a sign of high fertility. We dtd on Friday and this morning so hopefully we're covered!

Woody not sure of the exact answer but I think I had something similar this month. I got my smiley on CD17 and DTD either side but actually had a lot of EWCM a few days later so I am thinking now that I ov later and missed it? I only used an OPK the day after but it was negative so who knows! I am putting it down to another WTF cycle. Our tactic this month is to DTD EOD from CD9 (just in case I get another short cycle and ov in the right place) until a week after OPK Smile. Fx we catch it this time!

As you have all gathered I am a serial worrier and my next worry is about having an August baby. I posted about this awhile ago but I have heard lots of negatives about having an August baby. I dont think we are going to miss a month as I just want a baby but I just wondered what you guys thought?

Sorry Betty and Munchin for the BFN's. Fx just too early and no AF's will arrive!! I am willing mine to be over now (CD3).

Lol and Peanut what juicing thing did you do? Do I need a juicer?? I am very keen on losing 4lb!

Hiya all hope yous are having a good weekend. This is just a quick post and I haven't had time to read through all the posts but just to let yous know there was no joy here today. Bfn!!! :(. Still no AF yet but it should be due around wed.

We dtd so hopefully we've got it covered!

I'm going away this weekend to Rome so I think that I'm going to test on Thursday morning before we got to the airport as if I ov around the time of the smiley, I'll be about 11dpo. If it's a BFN, I'll wait to test again until the following week.

I have no idea where I am in my cycle - it's a WTF cycle and then the smiley and now ewcm have totally confused me. Wouldn't there be another surge before ov or can you ov without a surge?

Report
kittykatskumkwat · 07/10/2012 11:20

I'd say dtd, I had that one cycle a Smile cd15 early for me then EWCM a week later, it was definatly the week later that I ovd but don't know what happened with the Smile other then it was maybe delayed, you won't know for sure when you ovd possibly but I'd dtd anyway just incase x

Can anyone give me any advice? I'm really confused.

I got my smiley on CB Ov Sticks on Monday but this morning I've had ewcm, properly stretchy and sticky, exactly like the stuff you're supposed to get when you're most fertile. But I've had no more smileys on the sticks? I've been testing every day. If I was ov now, it would make more sense with my usual length of cycle etc but this is a wtf cycle. Any ideas?

baby I know - it's hard when people tell you how common it is and that you just need to relax! Makes me want to scream. I've had it once a week for a fortnight but now going down to once a fortnight until I get pg and then it'll be once a week. Having now had 2 consecutive mcs, it has helped feeling like I'm taking action!

almond really sorry that af got you - fx for next month.

Good luck for those who are testing again.

lol that's pretty impressive to lose nearly half a stone in a week!

I will write up some of the tips I've had later on today to share with you all!

Well, I think I am 6/7 dpo (not 3/4-I don't seem to be able to add). Trying desperately not to ss but have been feeling nauseous almost constantly since yesterday, have lots of creamy cm, very tired and getting painful twinges in boobs and twinges in lower abdomen! Does that sound promising?
