Morning girls!

I am stressing myself right out!! I've been having cramping pains in one specific area for last couple of days. They have been coming and going. I got it into my head yesterday that this was like when I was pg??!! Implantation pains?? But my rationale side of my brain says its just my AF as we haven't DTD consistently. I also still haven't had any luck with the OPKs. So I can't be pg can I?! Also been feeling very emotional. Sad

AF officially due Sun (presuming I'm near norm this month). Just want to know now as this is going to be a very long week!

jessiethecowgirl · 20/08/2012 09:48

Oh dear....

Today have started bright red spotting and having AF type cramps, this is exactly what happened before MC last month. Am devastated of course, this is even earlier than last time. But at least I know I have no trouble conceiving! Am sorry that the threads first BFP hasn't amounted to anything, but am glad I can climb back on board here for next cycle.

woody17 · 20/08/2012 09:50

jessie I am so sorry - I really hope that you are ok and that everything is ok. Thinking of you.

woody17 · 20/08/2012 10:07

Just wanted to say that I'm off to airport today and I don't think I'll be on here until I get back. Will miss having a place to talk to people about how I feel. I hope that you are ok.Will be back in just over 3 weeks!

kittykatsforever · 20/08/2012 10:13

jessiethecowgirl · 20/08/2012 17:08

Thanks everyone, yes it is what I think it is. The bleeding has slowly increased to resemble the start of AF. I will wait a few days then do a pg test just to make sure.
Interestingly, this morning I got a call from the ClearBlue research team and I've been accepted on the trial that they have going on, so they're sending me a massive box and 3 months supply of digital ovulation tests and pregnancy tests. very exciting! Although it seems DH and I don't really have an issue conceiving, only keeping it. But these ovulation sticks will really help in this next WTF cycle

Lolcbcb · 20/08/2012 18:30

You seem to be very calm Jessie. That is good. Are you going to hospital to have a scan?
Btw how did u get on trial!? Id love to get on it if I'm not pg now

Almond301 · 20/08/2012 19:23

Ooo me too for the trial!

kittykatsforever · 20/08/2012 19:30

It was a few months back they were taking apps, don't think you can apply now, I got on but had to tell them I was pregnant, now im not it's too late Sad
Lcb are you going to do a test and put us out of our misery!!! Wink

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 20/08/2012 20:34

Hi everyone, I have been lurking on your thread for a while and you all seem so lovely. Wanted to say I am so sorry for jessie.

I was wondering if I could join except I have had full blown mc. For the past 3 months I have had 3 chem pregs in a row (had only missed period by a few days). GP is treating it as recurrent mc and starting tests.

Munchin · 20/08/2012 21:38

Hi ladies, I've just found this thread and wondered if yous would mind if I joined in? I had a mmc and erpc at the end of April. I had bleeding for about 7 weeks and my first af has taken 103 days to arrive after the erpc. I feel under pressure to get pg quickly as I am 40 and constantly worry if maybe I'm going in to menopause. I've just spread read this thread and sorry to see so many in the same situation. Also very sorry Jessie that you are suffering another mc.

Munchin · 20/08/2012 21:40

Sorry I meant to say spead read, bloody auto correct!!!!

Lolcbcb · 20/08/2012 21:51

Hi munchin and when. Sorry u find yourselves here but you are very welcome.
Any idea where u are on cycles?

kittykatsforever · 20/08/2012 22:27

Hi munchin ( sorry you were almost munchkin then Blush)
Sorry to hear your tale, 100+ days omg did they give a reason? I think I'd have been pulling my hair out,I was going to moan but now....... the thing with mc is to start off your in the enviable position of a bfp then your pg but if it goes wrong it's waiting until your body is ready, to stop bleeding to get a neg test etc then the people you were on the original thread with have had another 2/3 goes in that time, does that make a stupid sence?! I'm still bleeding and getting a very strong + so itl probably be another Late and therefore bad cycle to try in Sad
Hi when < friendly squeeze> you are more then welcome here, all mc are gutting! I'm interested in the tests too, I'm really worried low progesterone played a part in my last one but ofcourse they were not interested into looking, I don't want to have to go through it again thanks, I've had my share!!!!

Munchin · 20/08/2012 22:54

Thanks kitty and lolcbcb for the welcome and sorry yous have experienced mc also. Don't worry kitty I tried to set my name as munchkin but someone else has it!!! Just couldn't think of a name. Anyhow I went back to hospital three weeks into the bleeding after erpc and doctor said as it was brown blood they were not concerned. They gave me antibiotic to make sure there invade there was an infection and took a swab which proved clear. I saw my gp at 6 weeks after erpc and she said my body would just take its time. Sure enough the bleeding stopped a week later. Yes I was to point of pulling my hair out with no af. Testing with opk's like a woman possessed. Googling menopause symptoms and the like. We went on hols and I made a conscious decision to leave opk's at home, give mn a break and just enjoyed the hols. It must have done the trick as day we came home I got my first af. It was still brown with bits for a week (sorry if tmi) and then seemed to change to proper af type. So all in all I have had bleeding/spotting for 2 weeks. Fx it has stopped. So that puts me on cd14. We did dtd on cd 12. But have tested the last two days and got weak lines. So either I have missed the surge or not happened yet. Sorry for the long winded story girls. Sorry when that you have had mc also. Where are yous all at in your cycles?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 20/08/2012 23:05

Hi lolcbcb and kitty thanks for the warm welcome (especially the big squeeze).

Hi munchin I have only had chemical pregs, three in a row. I just can't seem to get to 5weeks. I will count myself really lucky on a few points. At least I know I can get pregnant and at least it goes wrong really quickly so I don't spend too much time in limbo and can crack on with trying again pretty quickly.

That's why I feel a bit funny being on this thread, everyone has been through some hellish experiences that go on for weeks and weeks. I am just hoping to pick up info on investigations into repeated mc as my GP is testing me at the moment. hoping to meet some lovely ladies too

kittykatsforever · 21/08/2012 07:38

when, no ones story is less deserving, mine was horrible for me but I could think imagine a mmc and not knowing or losing a baby a 23wks ect, nature is cruel and when you are ttc it feels bad to be set back who ever you are, as we know we are lucky to have dd but for me as much as I love her so much that almost makes the desire stronger then first time as I love her so much!

munchin, i wouldnt be surprised if ov is later, i think mc really messes your body and mine was a good week later for the 2 cycles I had, now back to square 1, both mine have been natural however this time im still bleeding, there was a week first like af, then stoped for 3 days then ive been bleeding ever since thats another 2 weeks, i keep thinking its stoping but itstarts heavier again, it goes from brown but today is bright red again, do you think I should get it checked out or wait it out? im so sick of it now, i have to do another test thursday as she said if it was neg in a week i wouldnt need more bloods but i did one suday and it was still quite strong so not sure it will have gone by then uuurrrggghhh

posypoo · 21/08/2012 08:32

So sorry to hear that Jessi. Hope you're OK. Ooh though the CB stuff sounds v exciting - like you say though, you don't seem to have a problem conceiving so I really hope the next one will be sticky.

Hello When and Munchin - you are very welcome here and when your recurrent very early mcs and absolutely a valid reason to be on here! I am also interested in your tests, as I think my last mc was hormonal (but it's just a hunch). Munch my ovulation was definitely later this last cycle. 103 days must have been a terribly long wait - poor you - but glad you're at ttc stage again now!

I am on CD3 - rubbish - seems like years til poas time!

Hi girls

When you are more than welcome on here, we're all in this together whatever the circumstances!

Munch welcome too! They don't call this the WTF cycle for nothing! I'm on CD24 and no idea what's happening! I've been using OPKs but not seen surge but ive been having cramps do either implantation or AF! AF should arrive at wkd if it is on track but I don't think it is so the guessing game continues!

Kitty - I don't think it would harm to get checked out. At least you can rule things out if nothing else.

Feeling a bit sad today as I got an urgent message from the hospital asking them to call. When I did they said I hadn't checked in for my midwife appointment tomorrow. I explained about the MC and they were sympathetic but you think the EPC would tell them or my consultant who I informed? Oh well, just reminded me about the bean that want meant to be Sad.

jessiethecowgirl · 21/08/2012 12:44

Hi Girls, and thanks for your support. Sucks having 2 Mc's in a row, but yes I'm staying positive. I know that it has nothing to do with me, and that early mcs/chemical preg, can be common, and I won't give up trying. I have one beautiful DD so I know it can be done!
Still bleeding lots from Mc which started yesterday (I estimate I was about 5 weeks) but its not as much as previous month when I think I was about 7 weeks..

Welcome to when and munch. We're all here for support no matter what experience with mc!

Yes the clearblue trial at least will be something to keep my mind off things, and keep another month of TTC somewhat interesting. It was a few months back that they were looking for applicants on their website, and it took them a while to contact me, but I don't think its open anymore.

fx lol with testing!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 21/08/2012 13:15

Thanks for the welcome posy almond & jessie

Really sorry about that phone call Almond, must have been a horrid reminder.

Best of luck with the trial Jessie. I put my name down for it but have not been contacted by them. I love poas so am a bit gutted I am not on the trial.
