Hello ladies!

So we have had our mc's... and are moving on and thinking about making new babies :) Hurray, hurray!

Hi Boo, I found out so early that it's ages away, June 6th. I had some funny sharp pains off and on all day yesterday and was a bit worried. Dr Google suggested it was either round ligament pain or an ovary cyst but that doesn't fit with where I thought the pain was coming from. Either way the pain is gone this morning, "worryingly" so is the bleeding gums, but my boobs are more sore... ssssssuuuuuuuccccccchhhhhh a lllllooooooonnnnnggggg wwwwaaaaiiiitttt for a reassuring scan.

When is everyone due?

ChuckleMonster · 23/09/2012 11:50

I was reassued one - it was the only thing that kept me going when I was constantly needing to chunder "little one must be feeling pretty good if I feel like this"!! I am feeling a bit wierd at the moment. 14 weeks and looking less pg than I did a few weeks ago starting to feel almost panicky again.

How lovely to have a summer baby one! I was looking at the school calender and planning when I am going to start my mat leave, I want a couple of weeks of chilling out and watching daytime TV before the mayhem starts so basically I am planning on finishing work on MArch 1st (am due 24th). I am going to start couting the days soon.

Hope your little ones are giving you a bit of rest boo, I am back to the grindstone now, the dreaded Ofsted next week so am just checking and double checking that everything is as it should be!

Hope everyone enjoys whats left of the weekened!

Sheldonella · 23/09/2012 16:14

Hi everyone, glad to see there are some good symptoms going on here :)

Chuckle I have been thinking about maternity leave too. I'm hoping I can put my years worth of annual leave before it and start leave in January. I'm due March 9th. I have also stopped feeling so pg now I'm in the second trimester. I have been quite low over the last few days worrying as the doctor suggested I might have a vitamin deficiency due to some ridges in my nails. Of course I went home and googled all the possible problems and have scared myself stupid.

Ooh, lovely summer baby one. Looks like you are due the day before my wedding anniversary so definitely a good time of year :) Have you been to the docs and got in the system yet? I've had loads of those pains too.

boo Sorry you are feeling yuk, but also pleased for you.

Hope wilde is having a good holiday and hayle and snow are next with their BFPs.

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 23/09/2012 16:46

I'm sorry you're both worrying with the reduction of your symptoms. It's just worry from here on out, isn't it?

Goodluck with Offstead Boo.

I'm jealous that you both are planning mat leave... but who am I kidding it's not far from the back of my mind either. As this one's due date is early June I'm thinking I'll take all my 2013 leave before mat leave.

Sheldonella I'm not aware of what any deficiencies could cause - I hope you're ok?

I've not registered yet. I don't want to go. I found the whole medical side of things so incredibly off putting last time that I have no intention of going.

Right, off to spend more time with my sofa now, hope you all have a lovely evening.

Haylebop12 · 24/09/2012 12:19

I'm back, briefly! Will try and get on laptop later to catch up on everyone's news!
I am due AF between 27th and 30th, tested this morning with a cheapie and got a BFN :-(
Ho hum!
How's everyone this rainy day?

LittleMissSnowShine · 25/09/2012 16:05

Hi everyone it's preggers galore on here, yay!

Sorry about your bfn Hayley :( I guess you might have just tested too early. I know FRER tests say you can test up to 6 days before AF is due, but there's really only any accuracy from 12 DPO. FX AF doesn't show up and u get a diff result in a few days time.

I'm on roughly CD14 here. Pre-mc my cycles were around 33 days long, and I ov around CD19,20,21. Not sure whether I'll be back in same pattern now since wtf cycle was hardly anything to go by. Anyway though we've been dtd at least eod this cycle, I'm taking all my vits and folic acid and apart from a bit of a coldy/virusy kind of thing that's draining me this week I'm feeling pretty good and someone even told me today I'd lost weight lol Bit random! Anyway due to long wtf cycles the shagathon that has been going on for the last week has to continue for at least another week to make sure I don't miss ov. Really got fx for this cycle, I'd really love to be due next summer....

Haylebop12 · 25/09/2012 18:34

Wow little miss bravo for your stamina!
I think I'm shagged out! :-(

LittleMissSnowShine · 25/09/2012 19:02

im still quite enjoying it - last time we had a shagathon was may/early june. late june v bad nausea kicked in, mid july bleeding started and then since the mc there was bleeding, tiredness, money/housemoving stress and just generally not being in the mood. last fortnight...back in form!!

booboomonster · 26/09/2012 11:09

Hi everyone. Good to hear you're keeping up the shagging snow! well done. I daren't do anything in that department until we have the scan! (stupid I know). But I don't really feel like it either.

Agree, Hayle it's too soon to test, definitely wait until 10 dpo. I think those early tests are exploiting people's hopes actually, as they rarely work. good luck!!
Hope everyone else is ok. I had a dream last night where I was bleeding... although I haven't really been thinking about it. I've realised the only way to stop feeling sick is to sleep sleep sleep... I'm not in work today and looking after DD2, so hoping she will have a long sleep - she was up at 4.30am!

booboomonster · 26/09/2012 11:10

Also one - I definitely felt some weird aches and pains early on - not much consolation as I don't know how this one will turn out, but I'm sure it is common, from reading on the due in May thread. Hope you're feeling well.

Haylebop12 · 26/09/2012 11:48

good morning AF :-(
Here we go again....

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 26/09/2012 13:03

Hi everyone, I'm sorry Hayle, here's Wine for later. Fx for a late June or July 2013.

That's impressive Snow, you're following in time honoured footsteps, fx!

How long until your scan Boo? Hope your dream didn't distress you too much? We often dream about the things that are in the back of our minds. I had a dream I was smoking Shock even though it was relatively easy to give up and I don't really miss it. And thanks, I'm feeling well, you know, worringly so. I'm going for a private scan in 3 or 4 weeks depending on how long I can hold out. Hope your cure for ms works for you and you get a nice long nap today.

Haylebop12 · 26/09/2012 15:03

Thanks for the reminder one! I'm off work this week and there's half a bottle in he fridge :-)
Going to use OPKs this month

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 26/09/2012 18:33

Some people say opks don't work for them but I found them helpful. I get the cheap ones on line and test 3 times a day from cd 10 to make sure I didn't miss it. This month ovulation caught me 5 days early. I'd just said to OH not to worry about dtd for a day or two as he was knackered from work, but I still tested on cd 10 and had to go right back to him saying "sorry sweety, stick god demands it"! I hope they help you.

Haylebop12 · 26/09/2012 19:03

Thanks one! Plus side us my cycle has been sane length as pre-mc so reckon I can predict ovu a little better.
I got some sticks coming to help so, like you do will start them around cd 10 as ovu should be cd 14. But asvwe all know nothing ever goes to plan!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 26/09/2012 20:41

Sorry Hayle, wine and blue cheese for you :( Here's to CD1 of a new cycle and another chance, enjoy your week off and get lots of rest before the shagfest ahead

one - wow, five days early! glad i began my shagathon extremely promptly this month lol

boo - I'm not even pg (yet!) and I keep having the bleeding dream too. It's just such a horrifying thing to have been through, I have no idea how women used to cope with all of this without mumsnet, all these thoughts just drive you crazy! Hopefully your dreams are just stress and hormones mingled and they'll tail off when your hormones start to level out in a few weeks. Everything WILL be fine this time

booboomonster · 27/09/2012 15:48

Sorry to hear that hayle - enjoy the Wine !

one I won't get an official scan until 12 weeks I guess - so that's 5 weeks away! I could go for an early EPU scan but I almost feel as though I'd rather not - weirdly I seem to be thinking if I keep my head down it might be ok. I think if I was planning to go for a scan I'd be so nervous, and also given that my friend recently had a scan at 11 weeks, all fine, then no heartbeat at 12 weeks, I just think maybe it's false hope... anyway, I will see how I feel. I'm not seeing midwife until I'll be 9 weeks, so I hope they get the scan appt fitted in in time to do the nuchal.

Yes you never can tell when you are going to get the eggy.... I actually thought I'd missed it this month due to late ovulation (only temping which tells you when you have ovulated, but not when you did, if you see what i mean). I think it's worth shagging as much and as long through the cycle as poss! I am sure it helped that we were on holiday, so much time and energy to dtd! Not that energy seems to be a problem for you Snow!

That's weird that you have the same dream, snow, I don't think I have had it before but on the other hand it does seem familiar so maybe I have had it in the past. It's the sort of dream I used to have when I was a teenager I think and my worst nightmare was starting a heavy period without realising!! (I don't think this ever happened to me though).

wilderumpus · 27/09/2012 19:35

one! hurray hurray hurray! :) :) :) Am so happy for you! yayayyayaya!

what lovely news to come back to Grin

ChuckleMonster · 28/09/2012 08:24

Welcome back Wilde, glad you had good hols and are feeling all suck and booby!!

I had a bit of spotting early in this pg. I panicked bur put it down to carrying dd back from the park the day before. Agree about the early scan dilemma, we were offered the option of being under epu care till 16 weeks but declined as didn't think it would really help. So hard to know what's best, it'll be worth all the stress in the end!!

I am off work sick today. I hate phoning in sick but I have gad a hideous flu type bug for 2 weeks now and seem to be getting worse rather than better. Doesn't help that toy can't take anything fir it :( my boss phoned me last night and told me not to cone in today so I thought id look like a martyr dragging myself in and struggling through the day. Am feeling quite snug in bed so am pleased i did as i was told!!

Almost. Weekend everyone!! :)

Sheldonella · 28/09/2012 09:15

Welcome back wilde glad you had a good holiday. Sorry to hear about the CM but just wanted to try to reassure as like chuckle I had some earlier this pg too and all is still fine.
I have my gender scan on Sunday - can't wait to find out what we are having. An AN thread would be lovely.

wilderumpus · 28/09/2012 13:53

thanks for the reassurances guys Thanks you are kind. Have made an appt with the lovely dr who saw me thru the mc and breakdown afterwards just to let her know am pg after the debacle that was my other pg appt, and see what she thinks. With the cramping I am not sure i should put my head in the sand about it, altho today all symptoms are present and correct and I feel absolutely grand (apart from tired and pukey!). however, mmc stories haunt me and I know you can feel fine and not be fine... so need to face that early scan horror I think to settle my mind.

gender scan sheldon! how exciting! good luck! will you let us know?!?!?

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 28/09/2012 18:00

Welcome back Wild! (and thanks Smile). Sounds like a wonderful holiday. I'm sorry to hear about that worrying cm. I understand the ambivalence of getting a scan, althought I'm going to put myself into debt with them I think! Do let us know how you get on, how wonderful that you have a good GP. An AN thread - wonderful, is it up yet? We must save comfy seats for Snow and Hayle!

Boo, I had the bleeding dream last night! V unpleasant! But in the same dream I also went to Monument Valley, which was lovely, oh these pg dreams!

Poor you Chuckle, rest up, here Brew.

OMG Sheldonella, how exciting!!!!!!

My sore boobs have got a little more sore, which is nice, I'm struggling to sleep for long but that could just be anxiety, everytime I wake up I just think about the pregnancy, I'm getting lots of spots, otherwise no change in symptoms. How's everyone else doing symptomwise - or would that be for the AN thread??

Sheldonella · 28/09/2012 18:42

Will definitely share the news :)

one That sounds like a lovely bunch of symptoms. I did have sore boobs but they have faded mostly now. Still have the crappest of crap skin though and need to wee constantly.

Great idea to see the nice doc wilde they are invaluable aren't they.

Right, I'm going to enjoy a curry and a nice low alcohol cider.

wilderumpus · 28/09/2012 19:26

AN thread is up :)
