Hello ladies!

OH has got up, will make good use of this sunny day, hope you're all having good weather where you are!

booboomonster · 15/09/2012 18:30

hey one sorry you're down. It is really hard waiting and hoping, and having had the hope of a BFP then MC can make it worse. (Though from reading some threads on here I know some people would feel some reassurance in a BFP even if it ended badly). I remember having dreams like that pre kids and they would always make me cry. It is good to have a good weep now and then. I know what you mean about the long year too. We started ttc in January and I can't believe it's now September - it's flown by in a weird haze of counting down the days to ttc, then 2ww, etc - time just seems to have disappeared. Anyway, I'm glad you are telling us about it and I hope that helps a little, also great that you have an understanding OH. I just feel it has to be your turn for a BFP soon!! And you have to congratulate yourself on how far you've come and how you have dealt with everything, so really well done for that. And that's not to mention the help you've given me and others on this thread. Thanks Thanks

oh and yes sort of made up with DH, thanks for asking, though we had a 48 hour stand off about it! I am trying to regain chilled booboo.

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 16/09/2012 08:46

That's so kind Boo, thanks. I know what you mean about the year flying by, and I hate that, feels like so much lost time to me... and here goes the emotional rollercoaster stuff... for the last two days I've noticed a twinge when I take off my bra, and this morning they are sore. Not the real ache that I had when I was pg, but sore and increasing. I've just been googling to see if the vitamins I started taking could cause that. I haven't found anything conclusive. We only dtd twice, weakly and were violently ill during and after the ovulation period.

Anyway, we did have a lovely day yesterday, went to pyo farm, got jam making fruit, and there's a lovely butchers there with the best steak I've ever come across, and had dinner with family. Today will be home making jam and eating steak, what could be better!

A 48 hour stand off! That's a biggy. I hope you guys get some time to heal that as a couple this weekend.

Haylebop12 · 16/09/2012 08:55

Just marking my place for catch up later as I keep losing this thread.
Hope everyone is e hosting their w/e

Haylebop12 · 16/09/2012 09:00

Enjoying*

booboomonster · 16/09/2012 10:28

ah one glad you had a lovely day yesterday! And your plans for today sound fab too - yum!

sore boobs sounds interesting. how many dpo are you?

48 stand off partly because we were both in work for a fair bit of the time, but yes I think it's a record! Grin In fairness I think he was stressed too (but doesn't express it, typical bloke).

hello Hayle I need to work out how to bookmark threads too... anyone else know?

I am feeling rubbish today - aches and low level nausea. The aches make me worry but I think surely the nausea a good sign. Hey ho, can't sleep either so that's not good. Going to try and have 40 winks now.

Have a good day everyone!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 16/09/2012 12:14

Hi Hayle, Hi Boo, I've also never been able to book mark threads. Glad to hear you're feeling rubbish Boo!

Now, I have just heard that one of my most favourite people in the world is pg and I'm thrilled and no longer want to wallow, not that I'm wallowing, there's good reason and all that, but I just want to think about the exciting stuff happening to her for now so I might sign off here for a bit. If I get pg and I'll come back and reoprt it! Smile

booboomonster · 17/09/2012 11:58

Hey one I hope you are ok. Sometimes it is good to have a break from MN as it makes it very easy to obsess. good luck and hope to see you again soon!

ChuckleMonster · 18/09/2012 06:57

Morning all. I have no idea how to bookmark but I did accidentally hide this thread instead of flipping it last week and it took me ages to get it back!!

Glad you have had a happy pg announcement one, and hope taking a break from here helps with the r&R. Look forward to you coming back with good news soon!!

All well here apart from all three of us having flu. No fun especially when you're not allowed to take a thing for it. I think its well and truly time for the heating to be on now, I hope its not quite so nippy where the rest of you are!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 18/09/2012 17:34

Hi everyone! Sorry i've been awol for ages and i've prob missed loads so i ll read thru later and get caught up :)

Wtf cycle is really messing with me - i had patchy bleeding/cramping a fortnight ago but 'proper' af never materialised. A week later, v slightly heavier bleeding for a couple of days. No idea which (if either) was af! Did a bit of googling and apparently very light af isnt that uncommon first xycle after erpc because your whole womb lining has been stripped away...and i dont necessarily have the v scary sounding Ashermans syndrome either. My head is a bit fried not knowing if i've had af and im def in a new cycle and if so was it 2 weeks ago or 1 week??!! Anyway u can see why i needed a break lol

For now im just dtd a lot, tsking folic acid and resting up, the last 6 weeks have been crazy and im feeling a lot better getting early nights and lots of walks in the forest with ds!

Hope you ladies are all keeping well - i'll read thru and catch up....

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 20/09/2012 07:27

booboomonster · 20/09/2012 08:47

one fantastic news! Whoop whoop! Really pleased for you... I had a good feeling about this month for you Grin. How ya feeling?

Nice to see you back snow!

Sheldonella · 20/09/2012 10:39

Aww one I'm so happy for you Grin. You were due in October like me weren't you?

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 20/09/2012 15:04

Thanks you both, as the saying goes, I can hardly believe it. Yes sheldonela, my due date was for the weeks from now, which is why we are on holiday then as I thought I wouldn't be able to face normal life around that time. And thanks boo, the symptoms really caught me of guard and made me super anxious. I bought some tests yesterday thinking I could test Saturday, but I couldn't help it this morning. It took a long time, 2/3 minutes to come up on the stick and then I was just in shock! And one if my closest friends is only two weeks ahead of me. Hard not to get my hopes up! I've only told oh, no one else yet. Aghhhh!

LittleMissSnowShine · 20/09/2012 15:39

Congrats one!! Wow everyone here is well and truly up the duff...must be a lucky thread lol anyone still ttc??

icequeenkate · 20/09/2012 15:47

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 20/09/2012 17:49

Thanks you two, I'm quietly thrilled! Grin

ChuckleMonster · 20/09/2012 20:40

Hooooooray one!! Just the good news I needed (having shittiest of shit weeks) woooooooo hooooooooo :) :) :) . I'm so happy for you. Its the bfp just before a holiday this thread seems to be making a habit of!! and how lovely that your friend is due at the same time. Here's to months if exhaustion and nausea and no Wine which will all be worth it in 9 months!!!

ChuckleMonster · 20/09/2012 20:42

Those faces aren't smiley enough, have these . . .

Grin Grin Grin

And this

[special one post Olympic torch]

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 20/09/2012 21:28

You have me a lovely giggle chuckle, thanks for the extra grins and spirit of the torch! Its very early days and I do have some very strange sensations around the womb area, I hope it sticks, but if it doesn't I am literally comforted that we've managed it again. all that D&V didn't scare it off, and oh was "Olympian oh" dtd in such dire conditions! Goodnight everyone, thanks for being all so lovely!

booboomonster · 21/09/2012 11:48

How are you feeling one? I know what you mean about being comforted by conceiving! But I really hope that we are lucky this time!

I am feeling terrible - at least, constantly nauseous. It definitely wasn't this bad last time. But possibly the first time it was... I can't remember. Anyway, i am at home in bed going to sleep soon... Hope everyone else is well.

ChuckleMonster · 21/09/2012 17:20

Hooray for feeling grotty boo, its all good!(though I am relieved that I am starting to feel human again now) I hope it us a reassurance to you that things ate as they should be with little boo!! How are you one? I'm still waving that torch round!! :)

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 21/09/2012 17:50

I'm jealous that you went to bed so early Boo! And thanks for the torch show Chuckle!!! I came home at 4 today to take the nap I was desperate for all day. I woke at 5 am this morning and today went the whole day without a drop of coffee - I've not been having much a cup or less, but today was a struggle! I mostly feel pretty good. The mildly achy boobs are still there. I've had bleeding gums but not this morning. My period is due anytime from tomorrow until Wednesday so I'm now entering a more worrying bit. I'm going to retest tomorrow morning. Sorry you're feeling so awful Boo, hope the sleep helped? Like Chuckle said, it's reassuring for now, you are lucky indeed!

Onemoreforgoodmeasure · 21/09/2012 17:57

Sorry Chuckle I didn't mean to tell you that you were reassured! I was typing when OH came home and I felt guilty and caught in the act and did a hurried 'send'!

booboomonster · 23/09/2012 09:35

hi all
yes sleep does seem to help the nausea, a lot, but it's a bit tricky with the 2 little uns to run around after! I am just trying to go to bed very early. I am hoping it all means it's going well, but you never really know do you? It's gonna be a long few weeks... When is you edd, one?

Hope everyone else is feeling well, it's gone very quiet on here! We just need BFPs for Hayle and snow next!
