Hi Wilde I go away for a week. So the plan is to bonk again sat night and maybe sun night again. Then might be able to squeeze one on tue before I travel, depending on cm and opk.
I keep reminding myself I got pg in June with a single shag around fertile time so it can happen!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 06/09/2012 17:44

(Thanks guys)

Lol, what Wild said, who knows. I bled for two months, then had two short cycles. Last month was longer. A single shag was all I had too when I got pg (although am wondering how to convince oh to do shagathon)!

Now. I had a birthday 2 months ago, and was given so much wine that I'm still going through it, and am on to the cheap bubbly... mmm. Ooh, pretty shoes, hiccup!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 06/09/2012 17:49

(Good lord, it's cd 8 already)

ChuckleMonster · 06/09/2012 18:40

Mmmm bubbles one - sound fab!!

Agree with wilde lol, if you have EWCM get at it, sounds like you should be fine for a jolly starting on Wednesday.

Hope you had a productive day wilde even if you were bored. I wish I there had been time for me to be bored - its been manic today. I am suprised I'm not in bed yet!!!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 07/09/2012 12:56

Work's a bit slow today so just checking in. How are you feeling Wild? Anyone have any news, gossip??? Maybe I'll see what the folks on aibu are up to...

wilderumpus · 07/09/2012 15:37

chuckle sadly I was insanely busy but typing up a methodology chapter for uni - incredibly boring stuff, I hate it!

one yay for two months of birthday booze and double yay for bubbles before 6pm! Am feeling good thanks, no cramping still :) :) :) Symptoms have kicked in today, super tired and had to have a catnap earlier while sticking DS in front of tree fu tom (don't ask). Am not complaining though, no waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

x

ChuckleMonster · 07/09/2012 16:56

Phew for Friday!! Am exhausted after 3 full days
Of work.

Quick moan from me, haven't had scan letter through so phoned every man and his dog today to find out if/when its booked for. Have just found out its on Tuesday (woo hoo) but because of the short notice DH might not be able to get the time off work :(

Hope everyone has lovely plans for the weekend

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 07/09/2012 17:16

How frustrating Chuckle but great that it's so soon. What happened, did they forget to post the appointment?

Has anyone used Google today? I loved Star Trek when I was a kid so thought the google commemorative thing was cute!

ChuckleMonster · 07/09/2012 17:29

I guess they forgot or it got lost in the post. Am really nervous now!

Haven't seen google. . . Off to check it out!

wilderumpus · 07/09/2012 18:49

ooooh good luck chuckle.

OP posts:
onemoreforgoodmeasure · 07/09/2012 19:24

Can you get anyone else to go with you Chuckle? Torch

ChuckleMonster · 07/09/2012 21:18

Mother in law ( who is lovely ) will come I think, if needed. Just hoping DH can be there though. At least its not long to wait and all being well i can tell work next week ( i look very, ahem, rotund and would like people to know its not all due to big Macs!)

Haylebop12 · 07/09/2012 22:04

Yay for symptoms wilde!

one I wondered what the google thing was all about?!

chuckle Good luck for your scan :)

LOL hope you manage to fit it all in!

Hope everyone is well. CD 8 here so just casually having the odd shag waiting for some EWCM to get on it which should be around thurs :) dont know whether I might get some sticks just in case. Although, DH is working crappy hours and I took on a second job over my summer break from uni we are both super busy so hope we can manage a few baby making sessions!

Dont know why Im wanting to get pg so badly, Im terribly ill with sickness and crappiness!
Hope everyone has had a good week and got some nice plans for the weekend! Ive treated myself to another bottle of wine for this weekend as Im hoping it will be the last one i buy for a while ;)

wilderumpus · 08/09/2012 15:08

Can vitamins be this powerful or am I just returning to a more healthy cycle in this, the 6th month since the mc? My af was more what I'd call normal for me, brief and "tidy", and now on only day cd 11 I've got the pos opk, which could mean a longer luteal phase. I didn't watch my cycles before the pg/mc fiasco so I don't know what to think, can vitamins have such a strong impact? I did seem to have ovulation spotting last month... can a body simply take that long to heal?

Am exhausted after a looooooong fun day out yesterday and am spending the day at home in pj's. Hope everyone's looking forward to their Sundays. Hope all the pg ladies are feeling either properly queasy or, for the ones past that phase, feeling properly happy!

booboomonster · 09/09/2012 11:30

hi everyone hope you're all out enjoying the sunshine. I've had a ridiculously busy couple of days, working and also discovering that I had head lice (caught, I suspect, from my teenage step daughter who gave it to me same time last year) and then, horror of horrors, discovering that DD2 has threadworms. YUK. Its disgusting, and I found out in the middle of the night as she had a soiled nappy. She has just started using the potty during the day so I assume she's caught it from using toilets or her new nursery, but so disgusting. So I ended up cleaning like a maniac in the middle of the night then had about 4 hours sleep on Friday night before I had to get up for work!!
I bought the anti threadworm drugs and it says pregnant women can't take it so I did a test.... very clear and quick BFP!!! How mad is that? My period was one day late. I did think I felt strangely calm about the whole parasite overload, which is a symptom for me (feeling calm, not parasites!!!), but didn't want to get my hopes up!

So I think I must now be the cleanest person ever after obsessive washing and cleaning (I am going to develop OCD over this...) as I can't take the drugs. But hurrah, dead chuffed about the BFP and relieved... although also obviously a little anxious after the last time. But I figure, we can get pregnant, so we will again, if it doesn't work out. Pg hormones are making me chilled. Otherwise very subtle symptoms really - a low level nausea every so often, but that's about it, a bit of metallic breath. I don't normally have many symptoms at this stage so I am hoping that's a good sign.... Wild will we both be expecting May babies?

Anyway, sorry for the me me me post!

One I think it's probably just that time has regulated your cycles. I did take vits for a while and thought maybe they had helped to regulate things I find it hard to believe as surely more doctors would say to do it? But who knows!

Chuckle good luck with scan - can't believe it's come around so quick!

Good luck to everyone else in shag week! You know, I really think it helped me to chuck away the thermometer and stop temping! And chill out, and shag a lot obvs! Grin

wilderumpus · 09/09/2012 11:51

oooh one get shagging! is it B vits? I like them but am sure your body will do what it wants regardless. how lovely to ov so early.

boo yayayayayayayay!!! :) :) :) congratulations! how calm are you?!

eugh threadworms. I was super OCD-like after norovirus hit us so know how you feel. am super yuck about anything mucky when pg too, even mud freaks me out which is odd. yack.

I am freaking out a bit today :( I have mild cramping on and off and is worrying the heck out of me. I know it is normal at this stage and it is the first time I have had it, unlike the mmc which I cramped all the way through... But still very worried and want it to go away!

Just have to think what will be will be, just don't want to get ill like I did with the mmc and spend my holiday feeling terrible and in pain. If I am mc'ing I just want it OVER.

anyway out to enjoy the sun. Only popped in to see if boo had posted :)

OP posts:
wilderumpus · 09/09/2012 11:52

er, not only to see if boo had posted, but you know what I mean :)

chuh am a wreck. now where's that paddling pool?!

OP posts:
booboomonster · 09/09/2012 12:03

thanks wild am chuffed - you know what? I just had a quick sneak on the ante natal board and I reckon we are due around same time - 17 May?!!

Anyway, was just going to say that initial cramping and aching is quite normal as things are stretching and changing etc. I felt crampy earlier in the week and thought it was AF coming, but then it went (well, on about Friday, so only just gone). Enjoy the sunshine - today we are pregnant!!!!

wilderumpus · 09/09/2012 13:38

no way that's my (made up from FF) edd! sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! how funny! well i can't mc now, can i that would just be rude Grin

i hate cramping :( if it goes away later or tomorrow i'll chill out.
