Hello ladies!

So we have had our mc's... and are moving on and thinking about making new babies :) Hurray, hurray!

wilderumpus · 09/09/2012 19:04

one I have been crampy constantly all day :( That can't be right. I took some paracetamol in the end a whle ago and it has gone now so I can relax although I would rather not have and hopefully it would go of its own accord. It was like AF pain when you just have to lie on the settee with your legs in the air and eat crap but instead I have to be on the go with DS.

I am getting a drs appt tomorrow to talk about it as am so scared now and just need to hear it from the gp that I am likely to mc again. Dreading it :( DH is being lovely and reassuring me but...

ps can ahem, being 'bunged up' cause womb-like crampy pain? I have never ever had this problem before but regardless of what I eat or drink I am so bloated and well, bunged :( arf. Blush

Congrats boo fab news :) :) :) And matching due dates!! :)

wilde I am sorry you are cramping. Please try not to worry. I cramped a lot with dd, its not an automatic sign of a problem. I understand you wanting to speak to someone about it but try to think positive. There is no reason why there should be a problem with this pg. keep Thinking about all that Peroni you won't be able to drink!!

booboomonster · 09/09/2012 22:06

Thanks one and chuckle, am chuffed.

wild try and rest up as much as you can, and yes, if you mean being a bit constipated (sorry, I am beyond TMI right now...) then it can definitely cause abdominal cramps. Drink lots of water, and maybe try eating some prunes (if you happen to have them in)?
I really hope the docs will reassure you - if you call up first thing can you get an emergency appt? The problem is that any old GP prob won't know anything much... it's a waiting game at this stage. Lots of luck!

Sheldonella · 10/09/2012 08:13

Aww congrat boo, so pleased for you.

How are you today wilde? I had a couple of quite crampy weeks but everything is going ok so far. Oh and yes, being 'bunged up' can make you feel crampy. It certainly does for me. Hope you get some reassurance today.

Chuckle and one How are you doing?

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 10/09/2012 09:01

Congrats boo! Grin

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 10/09/2012 11:02

Wild is "bunged up" constipation? That certainly could cause a few crampy feelings??? What time is your appointment?

Hi everyone! How are you feelings these days Sheldonella?

As for me, think I might have been taken out of the game for this month. The early opk yesterday caught us off guard, we "tried" yesterday but, it was only, ahem, "a small event", and we both felt excrutiatingly tired and over full.... and then we both woke in the night last night with a need to vomit, as other forms of evacuation, loads, simultaneously, so we haven't slept and I can't imagine asking OH to try again tonight. And I think my cooking was to blame Envy - meant to be a quesy face.

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 10/09/2012 11:18

"and", not "as", and insert an "a"!

I am at work. And I think I probably should not be!

wilderumpus · 10/09/2012 11:48

one oh dear! are you staying home today then? Have you stopped the d and v yet? oh you poor thing. I have poisened my family twice, once with meatballs (I was fine, DH was not) and once with mince! eek.

Thanks for your concerns friends :) I am not cramping today! And I got some fancy medicine from the pharmacy as all food/water tyoe remedies are NOT working (sadly can't try prunes, hunted high and low and none around where I live and no time for supermarkets!). I will go to the drs tomorrow one for the regular pg chat and get in the system before beggering off to italia Grin. I couldn't get an appt for today. I have never ever had constipation before, with being pg it is usually not constipated enough! I didn't know it could hurt like AF so will watch for that from now on.

so happy cramping has gone. with the mc it never went, just got worse until the end. boo are you so wise, it is a waiting game chuffing hate waiting

be well one!

are you shagging away lol?!

OP posts:
ChuckleMonster · 10/09/2012 12:59

Oh one, I hope you are feeling better soon. What rotten timing too :(.
wilde glad the cramping has gone. I think we will always stress over things until at least the 12 week scan, its so hard to think past what we've been through before. I am stressing now because I have felt great the past 3 days instead of feeling like I have the hangover from hell. I know I should be grateful but its just somthing else to worry about!
DH has time off for scan tomorrow and mil is having dd so we ate all sorted, just need to see a wriggling little bean. Am pinching myself to believe we have got this far.
hope everyone is having a good Monday :)

Haylebop12 · 10/09/2012 13:25

Anyone not pregnant yet? Lol

icequeenkate · 10/09/2012 13:58

Hellooo there. Bonjour, je parle français un petit peu etc.

wilde and boo - what bloody fantastic news!! Grin Grin Am truly delighted for you both! Same due dates too. Congratulations...ThanksThanks

We had a fab time in deepest France (well apart from an off duty gendarme doing his best to wreck our car at 80mph on the way down there...) and I can't believe we're back to school and DS3 has started his nursery too. September. A long way away from March and my mc.

21 weeks here, and counting. Looking ginormous/huge/massive/immense (DS1's description..) take your pick. Had 20wk scan last week and all was fine, thank goodness. He (yes, DS4 on the way) was misbehaving and punching the probe with both fists when it went near his face which made for a slightly more light-hearted scan than some others. He refused to allow a profile picture which makes me think he has my nose.

Good luck with the scan tomorrow chuckle - will be thinking of you.

wilderumpus · 10/09/2012 14:03

good luck for tomorrow chuckle. Are you ok about it? I think I will actually hyperventilate with worry before the scan. I definitely know I will be asking to go to a different hospital than the one I went to for the mc scans.

hayle we are averaging about 2 pg announcements a month which is bloody marvellous I reckon for such a dinky thread! your turn soon!

ice congrats on 21 weeks! wow that time has flown! and you are having a BOY! congratulations! I think i will have a house full of boys too, can't wait :)

OP posts:
ChuckleMonster · 10/09/2012 14:35

Hi Ice, glad all going well and you have a lively little boy wriggling away!

wilde i am a nervous wreck. Fortunately the last scan we went for was a happy one so memories of the mc scans are firmly at the back of mind. I will still feel much better when its over and i have a photo of my little one.

ChuckleMonster · 10/09/2012 14:37

PS 2 pg a month is pretty good going seeing as we are but a few in numbers!!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 10/09/2012 14:46

Chuckle, so glad to hear tomorrow is all sorted out for you, will be looking forward to hearing how it went.

Ice your description gave me a giggle, and how wonderful for you!

Hayle I think there are only 3 of us left so the odds are in your favour. I on the other hand keep having little health blips at the time of ovulation seemingly to undermine any chance I would have had.

Ah, am home, am just sipping a sweet tea before a lie down. Cannot get enough to drink as still feeling ropey but must be dehydrated so am forcing it down. OH texted to say he is on his way back for the same. Wild you made me laugh over the poisoning your family line! Honestly!

wilderumpus · 10/09/2012 15:15

yeah one I seem to get out the poison every six years :) Buggers keep getting up again though. Don't forget the opk means you will prob ov 36 hours after it was pos so you have tomorrow yet :)

OP posts:
booboomonster · 10/09/2012 17:07

Salut ice! congrats to you on scan and another boy, how lovely! How exciting, have you got names sorted or have you run out of boys names? Have you told your DSs?

Loads of luck with your scan tomorrow chuckle, let us know how it goes.

one sorry to hear about your d&v episode. It's amazing how easy it seems to disrupt the crucial moment of ov once you are monitoring it, isn't it? I actually thought we had missed it last month because we were on hols and my DSD didn't want to sleep in the hotel room on her own (on the night of our anniversary) so we couldn't do the deed - she is 14, so it's not like the DDs who wouldn't notice if we got up to something!! Anyway, obviously did catch it after all, so you never know!? It's not an exact science! Hope you feel better soon.

wild glad the cramping has stopped. I am sure it's just everything settling down, but good to see docs tomoz and then you can relax on your hols lucky thing!

Hayle & one it will be yous next! Everything crossed for you!

Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks for congrats everyone, still feeling happy Grin. Though also super stressed about parasitic invasion (not going to say any more about it, but you can imagine). Hearing about your scans coming up, makes me look forward to the scan stage (fingers crossed), and where I live there is a drop in EPU where you can have early scans so I might try and wait as long as I can then go there. Will see - one day at a time, etc.

ChuckleMonster · 11/09/2012 08:31

How are you feeling one?

Stupid question I know but I'm not tempting fate by taking money to buy a scan picture am I? we want one and my dm has asked for one but I feel lime I'm asking for trouble going in with my ten pound note (is it just me or us a fiver a picture daylight robbery??)

Scan not till 1 so sitting stressing all morning seems to be the plan!

Sheldonella · 11/09/2012 09:21

Good luck today chuckle. I took money for scan picture as I knew I would have been disappointed not to get one.

Sorry to hear about the sickness one hope you are getting over it. I am doing well now that you, the past week has seen me feeling much better and more energetic.

I am 14+3 now, I can't believe it. Totally dreading my 20 week scan and considering a private 16 week one to find out the gender and for some reassurance.

Good to see you are doing well ice and congrats on DS4.

wilderumpus · 11/09/2012 11:20

chuckle babies don't live or die by what you put in your purse Grin good luck for today :)

I have my drs appt this aft and I know she won't let me have an early scan as she isn't my normal dr and as far as she is concerned I am just another person who once had a mc. Would a private early scan be terrible? I had one with DS but that was lovely. To have a post-mc scan somewhere other than EPU with drs and stuff to help if something is wrong seems frightening. any advices?

am hormonal as hell today, grumpy, worried, brain completely up the swanny, just want to go to bed! Brew to all!

OP posts:
ChuckleMonster · 11/09/2012 11:34

wilde if dr doesn't refer you to epu see your midwife. Mine gave me the option of being under epu care until 16 weeks which I assume would have involved a scan. My doc said they can only refer if there is a problem. I think its all budget related tbh. We declinded as epu had bad memories but ended up there anyway!! Fingers crossed you get a gp with some compassion and some common sense!

I am just waiting for dh to get home from work and whisk me off to the hospital (via McDonald's) will report back asap!

Sheldonella · 11/09/2012 12:03

wilde I am so glad I had my early scan. I changed from constant fear to utter happiness. I did ask a nurse at the hospital when the EPU refused me one what would happen if it was bad news at the private clinic and she said that they handle everything and alert the EPU for you.

ChuckleMonster · 11/09/2012 13:42

All fine with scan. Little heart beating away, wriggling round. Am 12+2 according to scan. Off to tell DD she's going to be a big sister and try to explain the concept of 'gentle'!

Hope you had some joy with the GP wilde.

wilderumpus · 11/09/2012 14:06

wheee! well done you! :) :)

Not seeing dr today, am too busy so off tomorrow instead with one I have never heard of. Tomorrow I shall be sooooo in holiday mode and will be glad of an excuse to nip away from my desk methinks. not putting it off oh no
