hey ladies,

There are a few of us who are ttc after mc's, however there will be ladies out there who are also ttc for the first time or second or third without success. If anyone is on, considering or had success on a super ovulation programme then do join us. How long did it take ? Did you try IUI with it.. ? Did you have PCOS?

Kicking this off and hoping some of you will join....

Hi there. buzzy it's kind of good to get a negative, so you know what's going on and then when the bfp comes you won't be querying it! Hope the symptoms mean something. Not that this is particularly helpful, but I still think this 'isn't my month' and yet there are two BFPs on my dresser! So you never know.

kittens it takes two and a half hours I was told yesterday. I'm booked in on Friday which will be day 29 so I reckon I don't mind spending £350 if I'm still bfp then. And a ghost of a line!

10miu or whatever it is is the same as first response, so the cheapies sound just fine.

Knackered from being awake since 4, peeing in the night and not having coffee. Damn it's all so familiar. (4th pg).

jaffajiffy · 01/08/2012 18:38

Oops forgot to answer questions. I haven't spoken to Louise as she's away. I had the scan on cd 11 (shortish cycle) and had ONE follicle at 15mm. He wasn't that pleased and said if it didn't get better I'd have to do gonal-f. Last time I got pg I had a scan cd 12 and had two follicles at 18 and 22mm.

Do you know, the other thing that's new for me this time is taking evening primrose and starflower oil. I wonder if that helped?!

Still will be POASing every day.

Havingkittens · 01/08/2012 18:54

Well, like everyone else says, it only takes one egg! If it was 15mm at CD11 then by all rights it should've been the right size by CD15/16 so unless your cycle is shorter than 26 days that should still give you long enough. I can't see what other explanation there would be for 2 strong positives 2 days in a row. Well, I've got whatever spare digits I've got crossed for you.

I'm not going to buy an FRER this evening as one of my colleagues who's working in another part of the games is going to come and meet me in my evening break, so I won't get a chance to go to Westfield. I do also have 9 Internet wee sticks, a pound shop one and if all else fails (probably wait a couple more days) I also have a CB Digi so probably don't really need to spend any more money! I wouldn't mind a more definitive answer though, but only time will tell. Bloody hell, it's agonising isn't it?

Pebbles73 · 01/08/2012 22:32

Thanks for your nice messages ladies, feeling a bit better today and far less grumpy! Just popped to Tesco to get some more Letrezole and the five day prescription was only £2.84 which is the cheapest I have got yet!

Sounds like things are going in the right direction Kittens and I know where you are coming from with the agonising. Normal people who just test and get a positive or negative and dont have to test for days on end to see if it gets darker don't know how lucky they are! Anyway I wish you lots of luck for testing tomorrow, keep us posted.

Jaffa I can't see that you would be getting such a strong false positive either at this stage as ovitrelle should be long gone. Will keep fingers crossed for you too and will be checking back tomorrow to see how you and Kittens are getting on. Smile

Havingkittens · 01/08/2012 22:49

Those normal people probably don't test 2-3 days to early to get a proper line though either. Although, in my defence, I am doing that for a reason so that I can plan whichever relevant medical back up I need before the weekend arrives. Latest development is brownish CM. which realistically could mean either AF or implantation so not really any the wiser!

Abney · 02/08/2012 06:50

Hi Kittens, Buzzybee and Jaffa I am keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

Kittens I think in every pg I have had that brownish gunk and even some red. I have even worn pads thinking it was all over just to get a BFP.

Roll on Saturday and let the am I aren't I saga begin.

jaffajiffy · 02/08/2012 07:22

Normal people would ignore all the stress til a good 6 weeks, but we can't! Fingers poised to ring for intralipids, pred, the next ovary scan, filling the letrozole prescription in time for cd2. Remember the days of shaggng and contraception?! So carefree. Now it's intercourse on Wednesday night and Thursday night while pumped with drugs.

Anyway, cb says 3+ today! I'm only 4 wks today, so I'm stressing about how it's so far gone. Could be twins Grin or a molar pregnancy. Great. So now, given my history, I'm PUMC.

kittens get that stuck out! And buzzy! abney if you can wait, I would. Fc for everyone.

jaffajiffy · 02/08/2012 07:22

Stuck = stick

Arianrhod · 02/08/2012 11:34

Shamelessly lurking to hear news of kittens POAS today. :)

Btw I'm a complete imbecile, I've lost the number of the people you have to phone to get gonal-f from. They rang me before I went on hols and I arranged to call them back when I need it, but have no idea now where I wrote down the number. Does anyone have this tel number, please??

Havingkittens · 02/08/2012 12:14

I did two tests today, one Internet cheapie and a plastic encased one from the pound shop and they both came up positive. Still not a dark line but darker than yesterday's. The one on the plastic teste was pretty obvious. Oh, and I was sick this morning, So....... Gulp.

Does anyone know when Louise is back? So should I call in the meantime? Cheryl? I need to suss out what I can do about intralipids. I stupidly left my Healthcare at Home fridge magnet at home with their number on it because I thought I could just google them but their number doesn't seem to be on their website. So, that's two of us after their number this morning!

jaffa isn't it all so wonderfully romantic?! How are you doing today? Have you spoken to anyone about your rapidly increasing test result?

Abney · 02/08/2012 12:23

Hi kittens ooh things are moving fast. Can I ask when you took the ov shot which day? Was it Wednesday last week? Let's hope you are pg. It would be such good news.

Havingkittens · 02/08/2012 12:38

Thanks abney. I took it Wenesday, the week before last so it should be well out of my system by now. Also, the lines are getting darker, not lighter, so I'm guessing it's not the Ovitrelle now. I've been testing at 10dpo since I've been on SO and I've never had a line from Ovitrelle so I'd say that if you're testing on Saturday and get a line it shouldn't be anything to do with Ovitrelle. Good luck!

Arianrhod · 02/08/2012 13:21

Woohoo (cautiously) :)

Arianrhod · 02/08/2012 13:21

Hmm so maybe there is something in this hysteroscopy thing. kittens am I right in thinking this is your first cycle after yours? And sue also pregnant the first cycle after hers, IIRC. Think I'd better get mine booked in then! :)

Havingkittens · 02/08/2012 13:48

Thanks ari. Actually it's my second cycle after the hysteroscopy. Interestingly, it's my first month of not taking pred as well. I started on hydroxy at the beginning of this cycle. I took 40mg of pred for the first time today. You and sue both got a BFP after stopping the pred too didn't you? I wonder if it's a coincidence or not.

jaffajiffy · 02/08/2012 15:37

kittens so exciting! You can email the office and they will fit you in. I booked mine via Karen at the office but I think mt S has to prescribe it but it all happened v quickly. Come tomorrow morning so we can meet and entertain eac other!!

Havingkittens · 02/08/2012 16:54

Mr S said that because of my situation he would send a prescription to HCAH for them to come and do if for me at home before I go to work, but I've just spoken to them and they can't guarantee a time for me and say it could take up to 6 hrs. I'm in a bit of a flap now and have had to send an email to my colleague who got me on this job explaining the whole rather private and delicate situation to someone I haven't even met in the hope that she will be able to cover for me on my job for a day as she is the only one I know who has the necessary security clearance to come and work at the games for me. What bloody awful timing!

buzzybee123 · 02/08/2012 17:42

congrats kitten :)

Havingkittens · 02/08/2012 17:47

Thanks buzzy. When will you POAS? How are you feeling?

jaffajiffy · 02/08/2012 18:34

Oh kittens sorry you've had to tell someone the whole saga. But it's exciting! So can you come to nlc tomorrow -all about me-- or will you have to do it via the home one now?

jaffajiffy · 02/08/2012 18:35

And yes, buzzy when are you POAS? Let's make it 3!

Havingkittens · 02/08/2012 18:44

I think tomorrow may be about ambitious! My colleague finished for the week today and has gone back home to Bath for the weekend as she's not needed until next week. I'm just hoping I can persuade her to come back a day early. She has texted to say she got my message and will call me when she gets home. She has worked with this client before so it would be ideal. Fingers crossed.

I am suddenly extremely crampy which is making me very nervous. It's been so long since I was last pregnant that I can't remember what's normal. Mind you, it was pretty bizarre being able to compare the last six, which were all relatively close together but not very fruitful. Can't believe this is going to be my 7th. Let's hope it's the famous "Lucky 7"

Pebbles73 · 02/08/2012 18:47

Omg Kittens just been catching up, I am so excited for you!! How long has it been since your last bfp? Hope you get the intralipids sorted and if you have to do a sickie so be it as you are more important.

Is very exciting that both you and Jaffa have had bfp's on super ov, gives the rest of us hope. I am going to ask Mr S about doing iui with the super ov next month as well, as i have never had a natural bfp I figure we could use all the help we can get. Looks like I should take a leaf out of your book jaffa and try the every other day shagging. Grin

jaffajiffy · 02/08/2012 18:58

kittens I had bad cramps last night and still went up to 3+ this morning, so don't worry. At this point, anything could be a good or bad symptom, so of course you're going to worry.

pebbles I hope it is inspiring for you and not just bloody annoying! You have been through so much and it would be FAB if super ov works for you too on iui. And I honestly think it may have helped that we were so chilled as it was the first month of trying for me, not 'another grinding month' of disappointment, so if shagging every other day helps lift the mood away from the long slog of it all, maybe that's good! I won't be dtd for as long as I'm knocked up. Grin poor DH

Havingkittens · 02/08/2012 19:04

Thanks pebbles. My last BFP the beginning of November 2010. I feel a bit emotional thinking about it as I found out when I was at my Mum's in France and this time she's not here anymore to share the news with.
