The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

I suppose you could do it in reverse, and next time you are sechsing or outsourcing, visualise bullets whizzing unerringly towards the target. Muttering "Pow! Pow!" under your breath is optional, depending on how you think KFZK/the outsource doc would take it.

eurochick · 19/05/2012 21:53

You're so resourceful.

Northey · 19/05/2012 22:02

Curiously enough, AMNH is on a shooting thing this weekend too. I wonder how he would take it if I texted him and asked him to think of spermz.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/05/2012 22:03

...and inspiring! I still talk down to my belly after baybee making sechs and tell his swimmers which direction to go in, force of habit!

eurochick · 19/05/2012 23:00

Whereabouts Norfy? We were near London.

Northey · 19/05/2012 23:10

Mid Wales. Were you at WLSS?

CaveMum · 20/05/2012 11:34

Still buzzing from yesterday!

Norf, I didn't get that close to him, but when he retires to stud at the end of this year I'll definitely go and see him in private. I'm about to put a few photos from yesterday up on my profile if anyone is interested Wink

Northey · 20/05/2012 11:39

Must. Not. Make. Joke.

CaveMum · 20/05/2012 11:43

Fnar Fnar!

Northey · 20/05/2012 11:46

Get practising on that winking.

eurochick · 20/05/2012 12:52

Heh@Norfy. Fnar indeed. Maybe that is what we need - thoroughbred sperm!

I have no idea where WLSS is so I definitely wasn't there!

Northey · 20/05/2012 12:55

West London Shooting School.

I was going to get so much housework done today. Instead, I read a book for 3 hours in the bath (pausing only to marvel that I had grown a new freckle on my chest, before realising it was chocolate) and epilated my legs.

Grin at bugs doing a Nikki Graham! Hope the holibobs is still enjoyable!
I am pooped. Stayed up late with sis and bil setting the world to rights. Stayed over and got a 6.30am wake up call in the guise of an excited two year old! Ouch! Been to church, was really good and made me feel more positive. Then my lovely Dad has helped me blitz our bungalow. I mean blitz, I've cleaned the kitchen - wiped all the cupboards inside and out, wiped all the skirtings, cleaned the bathroom - wiped all the tiles etc then Dad vacced and I mopped all the floor tiles so they are ready for carpets. Tis sparkling! Followed it up with a pub lunch to say thanks. Have had a bath and washed hair, changed bed, done the ironing. Exhausted just typing!
MSB is on his way home a bit :( his beloved Luton lost. Oh dear. I'm installed on the sofa watching Take The Lead. My mum described it as 'nice, clean, fun film'. Hmm don't tell anyone I'm rather enjoying it!

CaveMum · 20/05/2012 20:10

Take the Lead is a fabulous film faithy. The tango scene between Morgan (my Gil crush Katya Virshilas with dyed hair!) and Antonio Banderas is brilliant.

I do love a good tango!

CaveMum · 20/05/2012 20:10

Dammit, Gil = girl

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 20/05/2012 20:17

Massive fnarring on both visualisations (so sad I missed out on that when I was lying with my legs acimbo last week) and the seeing Frankel privately Wink

Well done on blitzing, fee. I tidied and did loads of laundry yesterday morning, but did lots of cooking and baking so it is a bit of a dirty kitchen again and I cannot do anything now, because I ache after a 3.5 mile run [proud emoticon!]

Quick wave before vegging. Busy day at work tomorrow, so won't be seeing me too much. Had a massive why and why and why break-down about the shitty stuff, so might need to banish myself to the Hut (although my approach was exercise and no internet and lots of booze, despite outsourcing, and it seems to have helped!)

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 20/05/2012 20:18

Sorry booze and knackered lemon=inability to spell

FriendofDorothy · 21/05/2012 07:17

Permission granted for someone to come and batter some sense into me.

I am officially not enjoying being pregnant at this point. I have had another bleed this morning, pretty much the same as on Friday. It was a rusty red colour so I am assuming that everything is fine. I am just royally fucked off that it took so long to get bloody pregnant and now I cant even fucking enjoy it!

I feel like hiding and crying and sulking today. :(

CaveMum · 21/05/2012 08:15

Oh Dor, how horrible for you. Your reaction is totally understandable.

I can't offer any advice but I'm here to hand hold and hair stroke, and have a large halibut in my handbag should you need a slap Wink

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/05/2012 09:14

I'll give you a full pass to be too scared to enjoy it just yet Ambassa Dor. You have had a really scary couple of weeks and combine that with the tiredness you've had, I'm not surprised you've not enjoyed it! I think all you can do is keep focusing on the scan that showed a wriggly baybee. One of my friends said she loved the second trimester - she'd seen baybee on the scan, she had more energy and could really relax and enjoy it. I say give yourself a break. Make sure The Mister is looking after you with plenty of tea and chocolate baybee needs iron! , get plenty of rest and like kat said, hopefully when you're past 12 weeks you'll start to feel better.
In other news, drinking at the weekend has caused my pain to flare up again. I do believe I'm going to have to go tee total for the foreseeable future

CaveMum · 21/05/2012 17:40

How are you feeling now Dor?

FriendofDorothy · 21/05/2012 17:42

I feel alright. Just pissed off that it happened again this morning and praying like mad that it doesn't happen again tomorrow.

FriendofDorothy · 21/05/2012 17:45

Oh and I had to make a decision about whether I was going to do some training over the summer. I phoned up the uni and found out that it is two pieces of work, one of 4000 and one of 5000 works and I started panicking. It would also mean flying to London for a couple of days.

I just decided that what with this baby business, buying a house etc that I can't add myself to any more stress, so I had to break the news to my supervisor. Lucking she was lovely about it and I feel a bit better.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/05/2012 17:55

That sounds wise dory. I think you've got enough on your plate! Wink glad you're feeling a bit better and I took will be praying for no more of this!
