About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

Get yourself a , some choc and run a hot bath. Let your DH look after you a bit

Ahhh Something I'm so sorry hun, but remember, the next month you will be super fertile. That's what happened with me. I was about 5 weeks and had an MC. 6 weeks after the MC I was PG again with DD, so please don't despair. Damn PIL Sofa!!!

Looks like AF is here for me too - although not quite CD1 yet but pinky CM so definitely on it's way.

The dog decided to open my internet cheapies envelope that arrived this morning (thanks Dog...), so I decided to use one. Wiped afterwards and there was the start of AF, typical, what a waste of a test! Oh well...

Aday did you say your cycles were normally 35 days? How long was this one? We seem very similar, AF today for both of us and usual 35 day cycles. The ladies on the 2WW thread suggested I temp this month to see whats what so I think I will, together with all the vitamins, and the CBFM, and my obsessive trawling usual research on google. I will be busy!

Pickled, it's a bit strange to be honest. I thought my cycles were normally around 30 days but when I look back through Fertility Friend, they were around 35 days, although I'm not convinced that I did the charting right either.

So once CD1 properly arrives, I will start charting. Gives me something to focus on anyway!! LOL x

aday thats exactly what happened to me!! was testing to see if any stronger wiped and then there was blood! fuckers.

Hi Witty - I would count it. How late were you? Just keep an eye on your signs throughout the month as you may OV a bit later or have an odd cycle. Fingers crossed for you next month as happened to Aday its very common to catch the next month I think.

Ill join you on the charting then Aday, are you going to use fertility friend? I didnt bother taking my temp last month but I am this month as I want to be sure I am ovulating. I did enjoy playing with the new montor today it took my mind off things!

To be honest I was very sure no BFP would come, just getting concerned at the lenght of the cycle so I was relieved that AF came as it meant that I should have ov'd when I thought I did and I had a 14 day LP.

Ive just ordered some B6, I am tempted to start taking Vitex too.

Pickled, I am going to use Fertility Friend. I've been on and reset my password as I haven't used it since November, then I went back on the pill in January. But also, I want to try and note somewhere the symptoms that I've had this week so that I can ignore them next month and not get too excited. I've had a little bit of cramping on 11DPO (yesterday), Creamy CM, Boobs looked a bit different and headaches (although they could be related to my cold), and see if I can keep a bit calmer...

I'm 7DPO and have been having cramps and headaches since 4DPO which is either AF coming early/my imagination/a good sign - who can say!

Bloody hate this waiting business. I'm so tightly wound and second guessing every 'symptom'... I don't want to get my hopes up because it's just harder when nothing happens.

PS I started taking vitex this month to try and address my short luteal phase- too early to say if it's helped yet!

How much Vitex have you been taking? I just want to regulate my cycles, but I have read that it can muck your cycles out if you dont really need it, so I am a little bit nervious.

i was 3 days late so if i count yesterday as CD1 that gave mei a 31 day cycle this month. im purchasing b6 and conception vits for when AF is finished xx

That sounds like a nice normal length to me witty, if you take into account what happened. Are you usually 28 Days?

Pickled I have been taking 2 tablets a day - I think they're 400mg. The recommended dose is double that -2 twice a day, but I thought I would see how this month went.

I was going to do the same thing! We can share notes then. I think that sounds like a good idea.

How long are your cycels, I just want to ovulate a bit earlier, getting later and later!

Well I'm only on my second pp cycle - I didn't have a cycle the whole time I was breastfeeding- but pre DS I was always 26-28 days.

I ov'd on CD18 this month though so I'm hoping AF comes a little later or preferably not at all otherwise I'll start panicking about luteal phase length!

Lets see what the Vitex does to us. The other thing I read about to lenghten LP was B6?

Yep I've read about B6 too- but again didn't want to mess things up by taking too much. I think I'll see how the vitex goes and reassess next month!
