About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

Hi there,

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

Enduring the 2ww at the moment, even though I'm pretty sure it isn't our month as I ov'd at least a day late and we hadn't DTD for a few days before that... :(

How's everyone else doing? Enjoyed the sunshine this weekend?

How long to go kurly? Im expecting af tomorrow, I've no hope at all this month. It going to start using a cbfm next month. At least it's a new novelty!

thanks everyone wow the symptoms have started to set in now! shooting pains through boobs and achey sore feeling weeing a bit more cramps and tierdness and headaches really.

am booking a drs appt on monday

Congratulations Artura Cheeky and Something. That's seems a very high BFP rate to me.

AF arrived last night, now feeling very achey and sore. I was feeling quite positive about this month, thought we'd DTD at the right time etc, but obviously not to be this month

Hope other BFPs are soon to follow the trend!

Im 2 days late but in my heart of hearts I know its as I ov'd late.

Done a few internet cheapies but going to lay off them now! I ordered a job lot, big mistake!

Morning all,

Well I bloody caved and tested - stupid me!! After all my preaching aswell. I had a Tesco test (even on the box it says it's NOT an early testing kit and to make sure you take it on day of missed period and not before) sitting in my underwear drawer for months and decided to do it.

Clearly no line appeared in the testing box, just like I expected AND I didn't use FMU - so stupid. I'm only 11DPO but been having cramps today and spots appearing on my chin. So I know that AF is imminent Sad. The only weird thing is that I normally get stained CM 2 or 3 days before AF shows up but it's still creamy at the moment, no staining in sight. Strange...

But of course the other thing is that because it's the first month since coming off the pill, my cycle will probably be all over the place anyway so I may not have OVd when I think I did.

I ordered 20 tests off of Ebay yesterday, those strong dipping stick ones and I think I'll temp this month, just so I know what's happening.

Hello everyone, can I join you?

I have DD who is 8.5 months old. She is a clomid baby, tried for nearly two years on our own, and when the docs couldn't find the reason why they gave me clomid. She was concieved on cycle #2.

So because she took us so long to concieve (and my DP is 36, and he would like more children sooner rather than later).

Well I'm CD10 today, so I'll start using OPK's tomorrow ish. However according to my period app I am due to ovulate on my wedding day on Saturday Shock so I am not holding out too much hope for this cycle anyway.

Aday I use Internet cheapies too, I find they are just as good if not better . Fingers crossed

Pickled I know, I'm exactly the same. That's the trouble with bulk buying Smile

Hi Aday its soooo tempting when they are there isnt it, and I must confess I have been googling things like BFN before BFP chances etc etc. MUST STOP SELF!

I have been relatively good as I have two big boys, a FRER and a Clearblue Digi and thus far I have managed to leave them alone!

Welcome SuperSlattern you could go for a wedding day baby! That would be lovely!

PS both myself and a friend had BFNs on the Tesco ones when we were pregnant. They are no use at all for testing early!

Thanks Pickled, I am still secretly hoping but trying not to IYSWIM!!

And like everyone else, if it's not my month I want to get AF out of the way quickly so that we can get onto next month. I might try and dig out my old Fertility Friend charts and see what they said.

It's also a bit strange that I'm crampy this far in advance of AF, I normally only get it on day of AF. Oh well, what will be will be I guess.

I'm still very proud that my thread has already produced some BFPs (although secretly a bit gutted that I'm not joining that group this month), but we need more. Keep 'em coming girls!! ('Scuse the pun - LOL).

Now I'm really confused...

I've just looked back through my old charts on Fertility Friend and it appears that my cycles were about 35 days. I'm sure that's not right though... I certainly wouldn't be having cramping now if there was 8 days still to go.

Clearly my body, like yours pickled, has no idea what it's doing!! Doesn't bode well for making babies! Hmm

Odd! Mind you I did get a lot of cramping when pregnant.

No wonder that test was negative then it would have been really early to test with a 35 day cycle? I got a BFN on a Tescos one around a day late I think, very faint BFP on an internet cheapie and a great big BFP on a FRER.

And my cycles are a similar length to yours.

i had severe cramps the day af was due and the day after really felt like i was going to come on at any minute. im covered in spots and im tired and i never get spots!! but my bfp isnt getting any darker yet but i am only 3 days late

Think I am ovulating today and have cramps Sad also wanted to eat healthily which is very strange for me. My diet is rubbish so do need to eat less rubbish and eat more fruit/veg etc... One step at a time hey. Haven't used by cbfm this month as too late so will start next month, but according to my phone app thingie ( period tracker I think it's called?) I should be ovulating today so fingers crossed but won't hold my breath!

Hope you're all well! Wonder who will Er a BFP next?!

Well ladies my bfp wasn't getting any stronger and now I know why. Must of been a chemical as I am now bleeding :( so now were back to shagging I'm not gunna lie I'm gutted but everything happens for a reason
