About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

Not sure how this month will pan out for us, DP's twisted/buggered his bad knee up so is now not allowed to put any weight on his leg and is using crutches. Mardy doesnt come close, he's white with pain...

Anyways, DS is fast asleep, my DSD is coming tomoro morning for the weekend, and I need to hold my breath as MIL is staying this weekend too maybe its good this month is out as I may need a drink lol

Hi again! Have been so excited since seeing the BFP! Today is cd 34 I think, and thinking I'm 14dpo. Cb digi says I'm 1-2 weeks. I haven't told dh yet, but he will be so thrilled! Only symptoms are tiredness and bloating. Sickness didn't hit me last time til 7 weeks, so am expecting the same.

Congrats to Em and jessi I have said it before but this thread is super lucky.

Horrible week here our vendors have sold to another buyer a week before we were due to exchange so lost our dream house plus money spent on surveys etc. I am beyond upset lots of tears and wine here. Not sure that is conducive to a healthy BFP but there we go.

I brought up to dh that perhaps we should stop trying due to circumstances but he is keen to go ahead so here is hoping to one good thing right now. Reckon I am ov about now but probably not swi as much as I should be due to house stress. Fingers crossed for everyone else.

Winter we had a month like that - work was manic, we had family over, we both weren't too well so we wrote the month off...that was the month we conceived DS!

Bazzle AF is due Tuesday/Wednesady so wont be testing she says! until next weekend, I want to be late before I test iykwim? How are the octuplets? :)

Hope you're ok too Jessi, when are you telling dh? Have you planned any special way of doing it?

I'm CD 14 now. Getting lots of EWCM and trying to DTD every night. My temps are still low though so I don't think I've ov'd yet.

cocochops ((((huge hugs)))) I',m so sorry to hear what's happened with your house, it's just hideous especially so close to exchange. I can't believe your vendors have behaved so badly (well actually I can, similar things happened to one of the girls from my NCT group last year). I hope things start to look at bit brighter soon - you deserve something lovely to happen to you after this, like a BFP perhaps... ;)

Following my anomalous 22 day cycle last time I have no idea what will happen this month. Based on shortest cycle I think I would need to start OPK testing today so will be going out shortly to stock up!

This really does seem to be a lucky thread so hoping some of the magic will rub off on me this cycle!

Really sorry coco about the house stress. How frustrating!

I haven't told dh about bfp yet because he's been away, but back first thing tmrw AM, so can't wait! I think il just blurt it out right away. I did consider telling him over the phone, but am glad i decided to wait to do it in person.

I caved in and did a test way too early Cd25, not surprising it was a BFN! I wish I could stop thinking about TTC, especially as DS is so lovely at the moment, and I should just enjoy having him! Xx

Hello, I'm back now I've gotten over myself a bit!

On a more serious note, not entirely sure whats happening, the last 2 months I've had spotting before AF which has never happened previously and I've been earlier than the 'usual' 28 days, already had a shiteload of gynae problems so hoping this is nothing else to worry about...been really really painful today too, had to come home from work early (thank God for a very understanding boss) and take myself to bed, keep just rocking and swearing under my breath, painkillers not touching it...

Trying to be vaugely positive though, got a wedding this month so at least I can have a guilt free drink and a very active trip with work I wont have to think of creative excuses not to take part in and I like April better than March for a birthday anyway...

So hows everyone else?

Not much news here still frantically searching for a house which at least takes the mind off the 2ww. If I am completely honest I don't think I would mind getting a BFN this month as everything is pretty stressful at the mo, obv would be delighted to get a BFP but we will see. Thinkl AF is due in about 9 days probably will wait to see if I am late before testing.

Yea, feeling better thanks, especially as DP did all the housework yesterday (after a 12 hour day) so I didnt have to...

So sorry about the house, must be so stressful and I know what you mean about not minding so much about it not being the bfp month (although sods law...!)

April is a lovely birthday. Didn't lastbox have some problems with spotting? Maybe she can give you some advice (think she is ion the thread about easter bunnies or eggs?)
