About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

I hope i wouldn't grow 6 extra boobs

Hello, please can I join! I am ttc no.2 as of this month. DD is 2. We dtd several times before and around ovulation last weekend, including getting a sneaky one in while popping in for a cardigan during a jubilee party! I think we were both a bit relieved when the window passed - it was exhausting and not in the slightest bit romantic!

We were exactly the same - if it doesn't work this month i am slightly scared of having to do the same again next time, knackering.

Nearing the end of shag week here, and I'm bloody knackered, phew. We tried to keep it romantic, but theres nothing sexy about DH quickly grabbing a pillow to prop me up afterwards, you know, to keep it all in LOL. I have no idea if I have OV'd or not, but this is CD18 for us, so we'll probably DTD once more tonight and tomorrow then I'm calling a break! And giving in to the 2 ww. I'm hoping it will go fairly quick, DH is off on business and I have tons of things to do/social engagements, so will hopefully not be tempted to test early! Like you something will try to wait until I'm quite late with AF to test

I was thinking I might test at the weekend if AF doesn't show by then but as it's Fathers day I feel under extra pressure to come up with the goods! Would be great if it's positive but sad if not so maybe the Sat or Mon would be best?!

I'm regretting testing so early if that helps!! I'm still only 4 weeks and I've known a whe week nearly, it's quite weary having to be cautious.

AF isn't due till the 15th based on my last cycle but I didn't OV till only a weekish ago so basing the fact AF could come in threeish days I have no AF sysmptoms at all.

Jessi, I don't know how anyone does romantic shagging when already a parent. We could barely move for being tired and I was totally grinning and bearing it. Also DH kept complaining I hadn't informed him we were doing it (when I had), which killed almost all the mojo I already didn't have. Am also not looking forward to the propsect of doing it again next month! Am also hoping for a quick 2ww. I've done 1w, and have DD with chickenpox to occupy me this week.

I think I'd be too scared to test on father's day Bazzle. I'm just not the sort of person who has that kind of lovely perfect timing! But maybe you should do it on the Sat in case it is positive? (I am too chicken and am definitely going to wait. probably...)

Hi all, can I join in? We're TTC too. My DS is only 15 months but I've been broody for several months! I've only just had my 1st period since my DS (now on day 8) so we have the green light for TTC again! :)

Bazzle, that is a tough one, because having a BFP for fathers day would be amazing, but then if you get the bfn that could be such a let down... hmm.. I don't know which I'd do although likely I would have to test on the Saturday because I'd be way to impatient!

Managed to DTD last night. Very unromantic, dh complaining because he wanted to watch the football and I'm starting to notice the cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling! Not sure how long we can keep this up as the ironing pile is getting huge! DS was a honeymoon baby, my oh my things were different back then! x

Well, on 9DPO today (thought it was 11 earlier - got it completely wrong!) and no symptoms at all. But not surprising really with 5 days still to go. Possibly imagining cramping and strange boob twingeing, but know it's in my head and then remind myself that I had the same thing last month and then AF arrived.

So for that reason, saying no symptoms!

I've had to relocate to my Mum's house during the day as our neighbours are having some building work done that they failed to inform us about and it's so loud that I can't attend any conference calls. It's weird being back in my old bedroom, which is now the office. Very weird indeed...

Jodie I am exactly the same. Also find it rather hard to concentrate at work! Especially when I keep looking at meetings towards the end of the year in my diary and wondering if I'll be pregnant by then...

Ive still got a smiley face on the opk but off out for A few drinks with the girls tonight so may not have time to DTD. Then again a couple of glasses of wine might be just the trick!
