About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

Sorry but I'm out. AF started properly this afternoon.

Bit confused as to what I'd count as 'Day 1' now, today or Sunday (when the very slight bloody discharge started)?

Was quite upset, quite romanticised idea about telling DP in a Fathers Day card and the EDD being valentines Day but will just have to get over it and try more next month

Aw sorry eddie... I'm never quite sure of this but I would probably count today as cd1. Think on my monitor it's first day of proper flow not just spotting.

Aww Eddie I'm really sorry. Onwards and upwards hey - fingers crossed that this month will be your lucky one! Maybe fathers day could still prove significant!

I have no clue about when to count CD1 I think I've usually gone for the very first day but thinking about it Pickle's suggestion sound more sensible!

Sorry eddie to hear about AF but heres to a new start! I don't know much about this, but I actually heard the other way around that you should count CD1 from first day of spotting.. but not sure where I heard that. Best to research

Thanks bazzle re: the OV pains: I don't think I'll read too much into it, because it didn't last very long, and I've had no other symptoms so I think they were just random cramps, and nothing to do with OV'ing.

I'm CD 11 now and well into shag week. DH is loving it! We've been super lucky that DD just decided to start sleeping through a few weeks ago, so thats helpful. Its been bliss!

well only had two days of postive OKS so i def just ov late! DP birthday today so lots of shagging here!

Oh! I did a first response this morning and there is a very faint line, but it's there. It's a tiny tiny tiny bfp.

I have tested way too early though so not getting too excited.

I think about 9 so I shouldn't have tested till the weekend, but my boobs went boiling hot last night for a bit and remembered it from last time.

I feel all weird! I know I can't get too excited just yet.

Congrats Pickle!!!!! A first response picked up my bfp for my first pregnancy, and I think I was 3 days before AF was due. it was very very very faint, but it was there. And I waited an agonising 48 hours to test again and then it was a bright thick line hehe and then I knew for sure :)

How exciting for you! Hopefully its a sign of things to come for the rest of us!

It's faint but there, I don't have to squint and it's pink which is all good, just have to wait & hope it gets darker!!!

I've got loads of tests in so I'll be going crazy over the next few days.

I'm tempted to test now as think i ov'd (for the first time) around the same time as you but maybe i should wait until the eighth one has had a chance to implant too.
