About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

Have a lovely party a day! You need a boby basal thermometer bazzle you can get them off amazon you got to take it first thing before you get up to get your base temp. Some people stick it up there foofs but your mouth should be ok. Fertility friend is what most people use to track it.

Yep that's the thermometer one got. I always go for mouth, the alternative doesn't appeal to me, lol.

Had a big temp dip this morning, followed by tell-tale cramping. So think I'm oving today. Hope I haven't missed my chance as we didn't dtd last night, but did the 6 nights previous to that...

Previous 6 nights?! My goodness Aday, i agree that is a sterling effort! Have you managed to dtd today at all? Even if not theres always Thursdays and Fridays that'll still be around (at a minimum) so sure you'll be covered this month

Bazzle That holiday home idea sounds alright to me! Maybe a maid so theres no cleaning up, and a cook and a driver...

Aday - 6 days that's amazing - i think i did 4 in a row and was shocked enough at that. Sure you have all your bases covered.

Have had a very odd day here. Got up and felt horribly queasy and have been sick 3 times. It's just starting to pass now but soon as i was on CD29 i did a test on the off chance i ovulated earlier than expected but BFN. I must just have a tummy bug or something. It made me scared about how i would cope if i did get pregnant though as i had terrible MS with both pregnancies before (first one we lost). All i could do was lie on the sofa moaning, was ok with Mr.Bazzle here (thanks for the willie concern BTW, it's much better now!) but have no idea how i would cope with just me and DS. He is a bundle of energy and hates being inside or sitting still for more than 30 seconds!

You are having a nuts cycle, seeing as you ov'd at some point last week (eight times) its probably a bit early to test.

Not great here ds has a bug and us exorcist style projectile vomiting everywhere. Supposed to be going to a BBQ tomorrow as well. Ah well probably piss down anyway.

I dont know, theres just a few red streaks when I wipe (I'd worry about tmi but after foof thermometer talk I feel we're all friends here!) but guessing AF is imminent, currently glugging down cups of tea so I can go pee again and check...DP out as well tonight, first time in ages

Oh dont worry, as soon as DP gets back I will! But I've still got dinner to cook and dont really like drinking when I'm the only adult in with DS...I have just eaten 3 jam tarts in a row to cheer myself up too!

I'm on CD 10 here, but last night I had some odd pains that made me think I was ov'ing? DH and I have been DTD every 48 hours (so our bases should be covered), and will continue to do so, but I am a bit confused by the early OV symptoms. However this is my first real cycle since my periods have come back after stopping breastfeeding so maybe my cycle is just acting up.

Anyone else have shorter cycles after 1st pregnancy?

Hi Jessie - i can't really help as my cycles have gone really long at the minute, it's a real pain as it means waiting even longer between each attempt. I have read not to read too much into OV pains though as this can apparently be before, during or after OV so don't go on that alone.

Something my first positive this month was CD21 and then got 6 days worth of them i think! God knows what's going on?! Are your cycles normally quite regular?

Eddie i really think that sounds quite positive?! For me anyway i got a few spots of red when implanting, for AF it usually starts off more brownish coloured (sorry TMI).

Am feeling much better today, just a little weak :) Is minipickle doing ok?

ive only had 2 afs in 18 weeks! first was28 and the second was 31 one. so im going to allow my self a 31 day cycle

Something - it's pretty normal to have longer cycles after having a baby, your doing ok, my first few were well over 40 days so don't worry. Get on the case now!

Mini pickle was really sick in the night but kept a bit of food down and is having a kip now, he's really perky this afternoon so hoping just a 24 hr thing.

Hope your cycles settle down baz & Jessie mine are really bloody weird too but I should have ovulated around cd16 this month so should be 7dpo ish today. Nothing going on but sore boobs, much as I'd love to get carried away they've been like it a week so can't be pg related.
