About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

Hi there,

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

Ive read all cycle, stop when your menstruating, and stop on 2ww.

I bought some and didnt take it, as I was too nervous about it.

DP came home and I said right you said this I said that blah blah sorry SWI.

So we have done it.

I couldnt hold a grudge with him as he had been visiting his sick dad and came home very upset. So I felt very sorry for him.

Another high egg alert this morning so more SWI tonight.

I had no warning at all, so we are going to have to SWI for the next few nights and hope for the best.

Strange goings on.

It was your first cycle wasnt it? That happened to me last time. I was freaked the fuck right freaking out. I wanted a baby of course but it was so quick! Took me by surprise.

Yes freaked out with the fact its first cycle. Last time I had two ovaries, no child and it took 6 months of hardcore CBFM use. This time, guessed when ovulating, one ovary, sill bf-ing ds at night and a lot more stress in my life and Bam! Very happy though and hope the rest of the thread follow suit!

There is no logic at all when TTC is there?

Im on 3rd cycle now, with this weird egg. I had HUGE cramps yesterday when I was probably laying it, so I hope it a good un!

I was saying to DP im a bit concerned its 5 eggs or something, honestly it really hurt!

Never happened to me before. But I am normally not obsessed with my ovaries like I am now.

Something I did use both times was pre-seed, don't know if it's worth looking uni or any of you guys? Cheapest from

Cheese congrats! Our first graduate! Interesting you say about being stressed, am sure I read an article which said mothers who have stress at the time of conception are more likely to have girls, only 9 months to see if thats true! So whats your edd, have you worked it out?

Thats strange pickle, I also had a freakily early ovulation this month...

Its thrown me a bit too so I think i'm due AF between the 2nd and 6th, I'll try and hold out until the weekend after to test (9th and 10th) but cant make promises!

I thought it was interesting, I wasnt that stressed for dc1 and had a ds so worked for me!

Oh let us know. There are so many people getting up the duff on this thread I will be on my own soon!

im on cycle three now. my CBFM arrived today kinda want AF to show so i can use it DS just happened so quickly and DC2 seems to be taking forever.

Conceived DS1 on first attempt so kinda hoped that would happen again but my cycles have gone completely nuts ranging from 19 days to 38 this year. We are on the third cycle now - Day 23 but by the OPK's i think i'm currently ovulating?! I hope so anyway as getting a bit worried that maybe i have developed PCOS or something.

Hi bazzle I'm the same! 37 days last month and think I just ovulated now on cd 15 which should give me a 29 day cycle!

We will be on the 2ww at the same time then as I got a positive yesterday & today.

This thread seems very lucky, seem to get a good number of bfps each month.

I know tell me about it, takes forever. I got lucky on the first cycle last time too. Im hoping this will be a lucky month, I had really bad Ov cramps like I was laying a dinosaur egg or something.

well CD14 and still negative OPK the strongest line so far was CD11 but even thats negative. gos knows.

anyways after alot of clicking and cracking back feels better!

DH finally got home... We tested, and it's a BFP!

Am still in shock to be honest. Was planning a holiday in the sun next January

I only managed to swi once! Is this enough! Probably not. Dp really down as his dad is ill.
