About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

Hi there,

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 16:45

No I think I should just be able to double click your name and see your profile?

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 27/05/2012 16:46

Arf.

Apologies to LBOT for being weak and testing, Just had to bloody know either way to stop myself making up symptoms all day long.

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 27/05/2012 16:48

I can see it when i click on my name?
Apologies for the let down when you actually see it, the more i look at it the more i feel like a complete tool....

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 16:49

Fark! I can see a faint line. What brand is it?

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 16:50

Have you got a First Response? They are great early on.

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 27/05/2012 16:52

the cheapest one there asda own brand. Am on cd26

??????????!!!!!!!??????
BlushBlushBlushBlush for not being able to read a pg test

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 16:56

I don't want to get your hopes up or anything, but I could see a faint line, I looked a couple of times. Have you seen a faint line too?

I used a Tesco cheapy last time and it was negative, and internet cheapie and there was a very faint line and the first response was an instant strong positive.

Id say get a First Response at the next opportunity and do it.

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 16:57

Where's everyone else for a second opinion? They are missing the action!

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 27/05/2012 16:58

I know! They're missing all the drama Grin

Will test again in the morning or a couple of days.

Omfg.

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 17:00

Fark!

Let me know how you get on.

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 27/05/2012 17:03

But I have really bad cramps, like af is due Sad

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 17:08

Cramping is a pregnancy symptom as well sometimes!

I had it a lot and I was forever googling it as it made me a bit paranoid.

So that doesn't rule it out...

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 27/05/2012 17:11

Right, will go away and report back in 48 hours. Smile

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 17:17

Ok, lets say 48 hours at the latest, and possibly in the morning?

If you last 48 hours I would be well impressed, I would be beating down the door of boots in the morning!!

No control at all here...

Good Luck, my prognosis is that it is all very promising.

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 27/05/2012 18:29

pickle meant to say earlier, you need to get off here and go and make up with dp!!

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 18:32

Yeah I know. Normally I would sulk but I'm going to grin and bear it and try for swi tonight. 12 days earlier than last month. I'll be on the 2ww soon when normally I've not even ovulated!

somethingwittynot · 27/05/2012 19:05

the look like a bfp to me! well ive still got a negative opk at CD 13 so im obviously oving later than i thought! that explains a lot and the chemical was a lucky fluke

lastboxoftampons · 27/05/2012 19:16

Cheese That's totally a line! Grin congratulations!!! Please don't apologise - I forgive you because it's a BFP Wink

Had a few days of faintest cm with brownish stuff in it, so thought hmmm...maybe! But it's turned to red now so will prob count tomorrow as cd1. 12dpo is my longest LP ever, so pleased with that a least. And fewer days of spotting than normal. Hopefully June will be our month!

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 27/05/2012 20:03

Yay! Three yeses. There is a line. Chances are your up the duff!

thehomesecretary · 28/05/2012 08:09

Wow cheese congrats- looks like a line to me too. Update us after you've done the first response though!

This is a lucky thread!

Quick question- does anyone know whether you are meant to stop taking Angus castus (vitex) after ovulation? I've read different things and I'm not sure what to do- this is my first month taking it. It's definitely having an effect, but I'm not sure if it's good! I've had some random spotting and cramps over the weekend and I'm only on CD11 so I have no idea what it could be!

Have a good day everyone
