Have decided my gen-yoo-wine not imaginary at all horse is called Strider.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 07/02/2012 20:48

Aww, shucks guys. Y'all awful welcoming.

Can I stop cowboy chatting now? It makes my brain hurt.

Soz for incomplete info. Both me and ghj are 30. Him okeydokey. Me, concrete ovaries. No sprogs.

Yes.. I am still dusting off the baby dust and ((hugs)) from my prev forays. What did I say? Well nothing too controversial if you were normal. I simply suggested that the best way to proceed in the usual quandary was to pee on a motherfucking stick and then asked what they had hoped a bunch of random interweb strangers might say. I blame hallucinogenic properties of baby dust.

Hope AE not to grim northey

sinkingflameofhilarity · 07/02/2012 20:50

Any one fancy a game of poker? We'll pull the spittoon closer

CaveMum · 07/02/2012 21:02

How are things going Northey?

I've found a picture of a black mustang for you, which I am sure is the spitting image of Buttercup except that the horse in the picture is a boy.

Here's my not at all fake Jake

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 07/02/2012 21:08

I am menkulling. Had not realised how nice it was to not obsess much when we weren't really but always sort of had a bit of hope ttc.

Northey · 07/02/2012 21:42

They have let me home, on the understanding that if my blood tests come back positive I will go straight back in.

And no that's not another Brokeback metaphor Phee, before you say anything Wink

Glad you are back home, and make sure you look after yourself this evening.

Northey · 07/02/2012 22:05

Fnarr. I do love a big meaty one.

Still no phonecall with results. They said they'd phone by ten. I am so tired!

OP posts:
PhoenixFromTheFlames · 07/02/2012 22:21

Ring them!

Northey · 07/02/2012 22:28

Don't know the number

KatAndKit · 08/02/2012 06:32

northey hope everything is ok

Northey · 08/02/2012 06:44

Thanks kat. Still have pelvic pain, but slept pretty well. I do feel quite drained though.

Going to phone A&E in a bit to check my results from last night. I'm assuming they were negative or presumably they would definitely have called. They were supposed to do so either way, but I can see it would have been a lower priority if it were negative.

Sorry for all the drama...

CaveMum · 08/02/2012 06:55

Checking in to see how you're doing Northey

CaveMum · 08/02/2012 06:56

Oops x-posted.

Northey please don't apologise. I hope they give you answers this morning.

Northey · 08/02/2012 07:02

Mostly I am just tired and weirdly upset about the whole thing. My arm hurts from the cannula and I want to cry.

OP posts:
PhoenixFromTheFlames · 08/02/2012 07:02

Would think they'd have called if it was positive. Could you not just call the hospital switchboard and get put through rather than having to wag down there?
Yes not to apologise. You are allowed to request support, specially if you're on your own! Hope you feel better soon.

CupOfBrownJoy · 08/02/2012 07:26

Morning cowgirls

Northey I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through - I hope you get some news soon.

Sorry to have joined up and then run, my internet is down at home at the moment so I have to try and grab the odd minute to check in at work.

I'll be back for a proper catch up later on...

Northey · 08/02/2012 07:42

Just phoned them. A doctor (who I think had just woken up) has confirmed no hCG in blood, therefore whatever is causing the pelvic pain it is not an ectopic pregnancy.

Now I feel stupid. And am spotting, so am clearly one of those lunatic women who go to hospital with period pain and take up resources that should be used for sick old people on trolleys in corridors.

I wish I'd never gone to the doctor in the first place :(

Northey

Doesn't sound too weird to me that you're upset. It sounds draining and scary. If tests are neg and they haven't called then presumably its not, but easy to say from here. But I have fingers crossed, and Kevin has done something anthropomorphic with his hooves, too. (Fuck it, you're right about the Jilly thing - he's clearly doomed).

Bugs my experience was that the MC was worst in the immediate aftermath - when the 'action' was all over and everything's just normal except you're not pregnant any more. And it gets better and hurts less from there on in. The day before my EDD I was teary and fuming with JJ for not immediately knowing why. But the day itself I had a wonderful night out for a friend's surprise bday, got battered on gin cocktails, had a wonderful, playful, snowballfighty walk home, and barely thought about it. Odds are probably in your favour for diffing by then, but if not, there's sorrow in the symbolism but its not devastating.

Hi sinky, welcome. I've barely been here a minute but it feels like a good place to be.

In my news we're properly iced in this morning for the first time this year. it's quite dramatic.

jewelsandbinoculars · 08/02/2012 07:57

X post

good news northey. Cut yourself some slack, though yes?

(Is this where I hit you with some kind of cowgirl related item? Don't want to overstep the newbie mark.)

Northey · 08/02/2012 08:11

A gentle flick with a rawhide whip might be ok. Nothing with spurs though.

What area of the country are you in? It's just some slightly frosty leftover snow here.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 08/02/2012 08:19

Northey after past experience, abdo pain and a long cycle now you absolutely did the right thing. GP would not have sent you to hospital if not!
Last year, I went to my GP because I found a 'lump' on my tummy and since my Mum died of it, decided I had ovarian cancer and was going to die kid you not, was hysterical . It was a normal fat deposit. But GP assured me with family history twas far better to get it checked out. You sound exhausted. I prescribe pain killers, hot water bottle, duvet and daytime tv.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 08/02/2012 08:25

ps I feel sick, have done for a couple of days. But that's because I'm sniffly, right? Right?! Menkul. That's what I am
