Also yay to all the holidays- and the menkulling making me feel a bit less freakish.

Y'know, after stalking lurking you gals for a while, this is a bit like an awkward second date after being overly forward on the first...

But any hew. Was v tired today at work, and my skin is rubbish, and im still not sleeping well,so obv am preggers. I am sitting on my hands to stop myself breaking a testing early. Tuesday is the day.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 09/02/2012 17:57

Ah. Not quite got this. stalking

Thats better..

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 09/02/2012 18:46

cupper are you new to FF? Is it still doing that test when I think you're 18dpo so you don't get annoyed with a false negative thing? When is the droid due into town? If that is before you're holibob I would test the day droid is expected rather than when FF is confident you'll get an accurate result.
eur have you asked a dentist about the grinding? Can't they offer teeth separators or something? to help?
Excellent recovery sinking....hard not to test early. But don't!
Jury is still out here. Still feel rough and very emotional, especially since my most prized possession and the thing with the most value - my piano - which was lost accidentally moved to Hull instead of Sheffield has finally been returned to me. Broken. I am somewhere between devastated and fricking Fuming!!!! Especially since no-one happens to mention they obviously dropped it as some point! Angry
btw newbies my house caught fire before Christmas. Lots of damage, Muchos trauma. House repairs just started, will be out the house about four months

sinkingflameofhilarity · 09/02/2012 18:52

Ah- I see what you did there with your name pheonix. Can you raise hell with the removal company? Or was more of a favour from friends given the circumstances?

We could go round as a possee and challenge them to a shoot out under the clock tower at midday?

CaveMum · 09/02/2012 18:52

Oh Phee that's crap! Are you covered under your contents insurance? They often cover items during removal. If not the moving people should have insurance to pay for repairs.

Angry on your behalf

CupOfBrownJoy · 09/02/2012 18:56

Oh no Phoenix that's awful! Did you lose much?

I can't imagine how traumatic that must be.

I'm on my 3rd month of FF, but I buggered up last month cos I kept taking my temp at the wrong time Blush. I've just had another look and it's telling me to test at 14 dpo, which is when the droid is due anyway. I'm lucky enough to be regular as clockwork so tbh I think I'll know if I am updiffed before I go anywhere near a pee stick.

Gah! I hate the feckin 2ww Sad

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 09/02/2012 18:57

Well, most contents has been covered. Total insurance claim in the region of 50k Shock . I'm not quite sure...the loss adjustor is agreeing to the insurance claim. However, the cleaning company removes and cleaned what they could and obviously damaged my piano in the process....our stuff was collected by the Grimaby branch and then no idea why it had to be moved and finished in Sheffield. When we got the stuff back, no piano. Turns out when everything else was moved to Shefifield the piano went to Hull! Dunno when it was broken....somewhere between our house and the drivers collecting it today. Need to establish that and whether it is repairable.

CaveMum · 09/02/2012 18:58

I get to overrule FF this time. It says to wait till Day 45 to test but the nurses at the clinic said to test on Day 42. That'll be 16 dpo.

CupOfBrownJoy · 09/02/2012 19:10

16 dpo is more than enough surely CaveMum?

I could do without poas or the dreaded droid in a frickin ski suit tbh this month.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 09/02/2012 19:14

16dpo is likely to give a conclusive answer....

sinkingflameofhilarity · 09/02/2012 19:35

Yes.. Conclusive... But good luck in holding out. Am still sitting on hands trying not to go upstairs and test. But now I'm here, I'd feel I'm not just cheating myself but all the BESH.

cup - hadn't thought of that.. Good luck! One of my friends has recently found out she's preggers. I'm insanely jealous delighted. She went skiing with every intention of relaxing only, but did end up skiing and having a great time- without the usual après-ski.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 09/02/2012 19:52

Hmm Muchos snow here tonight. Curled up on sofa with blanket watching E4 probably all night!
In a jury very much still out way, I have neither pee sticks nor droid catchers in the house....I know should buy some both but somehow can't bring myself to.

CaveMum · 09/02/2012 20:10

It's been snowing since 5.30 here (Suffolk/Cambs border), not heavily but persistent, I think we could have a few inches tonight.

I don't have any PG sticks in the house. After the upset of the last 2 failed cycles I'm holding out till the last possible moment to buy any.

I'm back on the West Wing DVDs. I should be teaching salsa tonight but I cancelled due to the weather.

FriendofDorothy · 09/02/2012 21:24

I don't think I have peed on a stick for ages. I am that convinced I am not pregnant that I can't even be bothered testing. I think I have lost the will :(

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 09/02/2012 21:36

I have got into the habit of poas on cd3...just in case Droid was so light it wasn't really Droid at all....that's a tad menkul.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 09/02/2012 22:08

No snow here, just rain. Still bloody freezing though.

Love the cd3 poas. Fortunately the droid is so grim this end, it's never really been a possibility for menkulling.

Have bought the expensive Boots sticks, because theyre more likely to give me a +ve, right? Now have 3 sticks in house. Will. Wait. Till. droid arrives Tues.

eurochick · 09/02/2012 22:31

Fee I have a gumshield but I hate it. It is old and really big and bulky. It makes me feel like a rugby player. But I am going to have to wear it tonight. My teeth will be stumps otherwise. :(

I can't believe some fuckwit dropped your piano! Can it be repaired?

There is no possiblility of mistaking the massacre that takes place on a monthly basis for me as non-droidal. I cannot believe that anything could manage to cling on in there while that is going on. It's like one of those blood bath zombie films.

It's snowing here is sauf london. I just tottered home n veh high heels clinging to Mr euro.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 09/02/2012 22:41

Prior to taking the POP I had massacre esque Droid. Now it varies so much the light ones confuse me. Hence the just in case poas.
Good three inches of snow in the shire of Lincoln. Resent all the smug teachery 'Snow day' declaration. I know I'll have to walk to work and cover on the wards for anyone who can't make it in. Hospitals don't stop having ill people! Gosh I'm q moody cah tonight. Time to hit the hay. Night BESHies.

CupOfBrownJoy · 10/02/2012 05:48

Jealous of all the snow! It's just freezing cold here (Germany) - around -6 for about 2 weeks now...

jewelsandbinoculars · 10/02/2012 08:01

Mornin' all

sink know exactly what you mean re the second date syndrome. Still...

Phoenix how SHIT about your house. And now your piano too. Shit.

Euro can empathise both with the work stress and the monthly massacre in the pants - mine have only been that way since ERPC in July but they are a truly gruesome sight to behold, and a bit painy.

They are scanning (today as happens) to see if there is anything obviously awry or tis just one of those things. Irritatingly I had totally invented that they were scanning yesterday, so got up early, drank 14 pints of water or whatever to make my pelvis all see-through, cycled to Hospital, queued up at imaging reception, smiling at all the wimmiz with their bumps and their wads of pregnancy notes (priding myself on how ok I was about it all), brightly handed in the appointment letter CLEARLY saying it was tomorrow, was told that er...it was tomorrow, and promptly burst into tears [twat].

In other news, and assuming Piss HQ is to be believed, I will mostly be poasing around Mon 20th (and/or every day from about six days before that) - anyone else on a similar rota?

jewelsandbinoculars · 10/02/2012 08:14

well dang those accursed brackets

CupOfBrownJoy · 10/02/2012 08:28

jewels we can be pee stick buddies - I'm due 20th too Smile

sinkingflameofhilarity · 10/02/2012 08:30

Hope the scan goes better today jewels. Sound like the sort of thing I do. BHJ once got us tickets to see Coldplay on a Friday. Except, on the way there, I spotted we actually had tickets for Thursday. The boy was no happy... I've never been more glad that he chose, booked and had the tickets delivered to him - and there was not way of apportioning the blame on me and my dishevelled brain.

Well done on cycling after drinking 14 gallons/horse troughs/water tower-fulls

Today I shall be mostly avoiding doing any real work. But am v proud of my lack of POAS action. this morning I did pee in a cup (can't pee on a stick really - too splashy) but the threw it back down the toilet without testing. A bit like a whiskey soaked cowboy sniffing the liquor, but not actually taking the sip...

CupOfBrownJoy · 10/02/2012 08:40

well done sink Smile

I once arrived at Perth airport a whole day early for a flight. It was kind of embarrassing as I'd done all the big goodbyes with the friends I was staying with.... then had to crawl back and ask if I could stay another night Blush

Good luck today jewels

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 10/02/2012 11:13

Hope it goes well jewels. Let us know how you get on.
sinky excellent restraint!
I am mega menkulling. Feel rough. Cold, sore throat, boobs a bit sore and still with the nausea! But also daren't believe after two years ttc that two cycles after MSB started treatment it'll work and I'll have won a baybee already. Gah. Roll on Wednesday.
