When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

Those rats are jolly well going to be smacked this cycle and AF shall have arrows, hatred and misery cast upon her! No argument shall be brooked on both points.

beangrower · 16/12/2011 13:59

Oh and wave to Maybe - what's your news my dear Brooker?

GreenOlives · 16/12/2011 14:14

Hello lovelies!
Glad you found us Maybe!

Hope you're feeling better soon Smegs, you definitely need to be all recovered for next week And get well soon wishes to other hungover poorly brookers Sweetie & Whimsical!

Love the story about OH's Grandma Imps and 76 years of marriage is amazing! Xmas Grin Could I have a bacon & cheese muffin too please, they sound yummy! I need something to fill my tummy before I head to Tesco otherwise my trolley will be filled with crap - never good to shop on an empty stomach is it?! Shock at price of chickens!

Sorry to hear about AF Munkiii, day 1 of your pregnancy though, just remember that and enjoy all the Christmas food and drink Xmas Smile

Xmas Grin at Popcorn passing out! I love a bit of blood & gore, best part of my job!

Love the sound of your pampering Scarlett, I can't get my nails done because of work but the eyebrows are being HD'd next week and the fake tan will be cracked open in preparation for the Christmas party on Wednesday!

GreenOlives · 16/12/2011 14:18

x-posts with bean! Poor DS Sad, fingers crossed he's all better soon. xx

IMaybeanElf · 16/12/2011 15:25

Afternoon by fellows who smack the rat.

Sorry it's CD1 Munk hope the family feel better soon.

And your poor DS Bean poor little mite Xmas Sad

Scarett am very jealous of your pampering, bet you are going to look b-e-a-utiful later Xmas Grin

I left work early Xmas Wink and have done my crimbo shopping. And I got snowed on this morning, so felt extra festive! Am now waiting for the dog behaviourist to come to sort out bitey pup.

DeckTheHallsWithPopcornMice · 16/12/2011 16:26

maybe you are so organised, we are only half done! Yay for a behaviourist, though, I hope they can help :)

Thanks bean today has been much better possibly because it's Friday

Lots of EWCM (yay!) but no smilie faces (booo) - ovulation due tomorrow but after last month I'm not taking it for granted. I will do an OPK again tomorrow but that's it because they're kerching. Lots of SWI has been done this month (I think DH is starting to get fatigued, hee hee :o ) and I will make sure to keep it up for another week, incase I'm a week late again Hmm

Have to say I've enjoyed not temping and dtd for the hell of it. But today I feel like barfing. Can't be pg yet, so must be a bug on its merry way, sob.

DeckTheHallsWithPopcornMice · 16/12/2011 16:28

Oh bean he's still ill? Poor thing, and poor you. When's Mr Bean back, with his healthy-beanlet aura? :(

beangrower · 16/12/2011 17:41

Oh Pop - don't get a bug. Loads of water to sort you out. Am impressed you didn't temp! Hope it's a winning strategy.

Thanks re' beanlet. Mr Bean Hmm is back tomorrow. Beanlet had a good nap and is in better humour today but didn't want to brave the cold weather with mummy to clean the rabbit out so he stayed on the sofa under a rug while I serviced bun. Alright for some.

Scarlett sounds ready to wow them all.

BeedleTheBahHumbug · 17/12/2011 09:00

Morning, it seems a bit quiet here. Hope the poorly sick soon-to-be preggos and small children are feeling a bit better. Perhaps everyone just has a hangover Xmas Grin

10dpo here and sore boobs might POAS on Tuesday if my temps haven't dropped. How many others are due to get their BFPs before Christmas? And does my tablet know something I don't, it always wants to autocorrect BFP to BFN Xmas Angry Though maybe its learning and seeing the error of its ways :-)

Have a lovely day everyone.

SweetieTinselandBaubles · 17/12/2011 09:46

Morning lovely festive ladies

Beedle am similar stage to you, have had light spotting last night and this morning. Boobs are feeling a bit sore again. Xmas Hmm AF not expected Fri so will test Christmas eve if she hasn't shown her evil face.

Busy day ahead wrapping all the presents then shoot me now supermarket shopping. Then am soooooo looking forward to the Strictly final, even DH is looking forward to it but only so he can use the new 3D TVGrin

IMaybeanElf · 17/12/2011 09:51

Morning Beedle Xmas Smile it is indeed very quiet in here! No hangover here! Very cold walk with pup, waiting for shopping to arrive, then it's bake bake bake Xmas Grin

Sore boobs eh?! looking very positive Beedle

How you feeling Pop?

How are all the poorly preggos/DHs/DSs/DDs?

How was your night Scarlet?

Imps I never elaborated. I have written all my festive recipes in one little notebook so that today I don't need to have a million books/magazine/internet on the go!

BeedleTheBahHumbug · 17/12/2011 10:38

sweetie light spotting eh? Is it a new deffo preggo symptom or is it just normal for you?

Have fun with the baking maybe, I'm going to make mince pies with my mum this week. We decided this a few weeks ago, she sent me a text this week asking if i have any round cutters. I had to reply that i didn't, nor do i have tray to bake them in Xmas Blush not really sure how I thought we were going to make them Xmas Hmm

So has anyone got snow? Is it fingers crossed for a white Christmas? Looks like we've got rain this week, possibly turning to snow on Christmas eve Xmas Smile

IMaybeanElf · 17/12/2011 10:47

We had snow Friday morning but it has all gone now. Just very frosty and sunny now.

I only actually got cutters the other day, before then I have always used a glass to cut out the pastry Xmas Blush Not sure what to suggest instead of a tray though!

Sweetie is this spotting exciting? I would say it was exciting seen as it is a whole week before AF isn't due!

SweetieTinselandBaubles · 17/12/2011 13:19

Never had mid cycle spotting before Xmas Confused but it seems to have stopped now anyway did i even imagine it?? so not sure if it is exciting or not. Just hope is doesn't lead me to symptom spotting hell for the next week.

All presents wrapped so just the supermarket to do now, needs to be done so I just need to man up and get on with it. Am dragging DH with me so he can experience the pain too.

We were going to crack open a bottle of something festively fizzy not lemonade later but I am not sure it is good idea now. May need it after shops though Xmas Wink

ScarlettInSpace · 17/12/2011 14:34

Well I currently look like a negative, still covered in fake tan and just had hair bleached lol. Out for next 2 nights so will prob be mostly dying for next few days...

Spotting sounds exciting, so do a couple of sore boobies people Xmas Grin sorry to be rude but am on phone so can't read and type iykwim...

I'm a bit p'd off,s former best friend has just announced she is pregnant, we came off the pill together and were supposed to be going through the journey together as it were, when we were still talking lol!

I absolutely don't want anything to do with her, she proved herself to be a selfish tit in the end, I'm just a bit grrrr that she's beaten me to it, stupid I know but heyho! OH response is simply that I'm being silly and he feels sorry for the kid. Why do men get to say exactly what they think without looking like a twat lol

Here's to more symptoms this weekend everyone,I for one am going to drink and smoke like a trooper - I even had a caffeinated coffee today [ which made me feel sick after 2 weeks off it] at the hairdressers so in your face 2ww :P hope y'all have a good weekend, Christmas cuddles all roundp xx

beangrower · 17/12/2011 17:29

OOh - so that's Beedle and Sweetie upduffed with September genius babsters. Hurrah. And possibly Scarlett? Go brookers.

8dpo here; had big temp dip yesterday but have to ignore as I have been up at all hours with poorly DS. Now in his element with Daddy back. As if he never had a chest infection at all. Mummy just made it up to be dramatic. Grr.

Have been reikied today. Drippled onto the treatment table. Must have been good for me. Xmas Grin

Now indulging in one - yes, just one - glass of sloe gin and am raising a glass to you. Happy Christmas ladies.

Hope you're all having a happy pre-Chrimbo weekend. xxx

IMaybeanElf · 17/12/2011 17:42

Bean glad DS is on the mend, enjoy that gin and have more than one glass

Scarlett It is hard isn't it. Just know that it will happen for you, and you can enjoy a few more days of Christmas partying before that BFP makes itself known Xmas Grin

Sweetie are you still alive? Xmas Grin

beangrower · 17/12/2011 18:09

Very impressed with Maybe btw - all recipes in one notebook. Wish I could be so organised. We will be making Christmas sloe jacks - flapjacks with the sloes sozzled in last year's sloe gin... an experiment, as you can imagine.

IMaybeanElf · 17/12/2011 19:12

Oooooooh, sounds amazing Bean I am currently a Christmas pud, 2 stollen, mince pie cookies and pecan snowballs in. Chutney is on the bubble too. Only fudge, truffles, mince pies, sea salt biscuits and cheddar biscuits to go....

IMaybeanElf · 17/12/2011 21:51
GreenOlives · 17/12/2011 22:18

Loving all the baking Maybe, making my tummy rumble! I managed to ice my Christmas cake today, DS wanted it decorated with a snowman so I obviously had to oblige - and I don't wish to boast but if looks alright! Maybe I have got a couple of creative bones in my body after all Xmas Grin

Getting positive vibes from all the soon-to-confirm preggos! Go girls! bean and I are right behind and will be confirming next weekend, isn't that right bean? I do believe Have is our cycle buddy too, hope you're doing ok and that things are moving with the insurance claim.

6 dpo, think my boobs may be slightly sore if I poke them several times an hour, other than that no other symptoms to report.

May not post for a couple of days as have 12.5 hr shifts Sunday and Monday Xmas Sad but will try and have a sneaky read on my breaks!

TTFN xx

SweetieTinselandBaubles · 17/12/2011 22:22

maybe am soooooo very impressed by all the home baking and genuine culinary genius.

scarlet hope you have a few great nights out, and suffer only slightly tomorrow

bean so pleased all is well in the bean household, with thing returning to normal

Night night any brookers lurking see you tomorrow

IMaybeanElf · 17/12/2011 23:30

Phew, glad you're ok Sweetie. Bubbles always make things seem better Xmas Wink

Olives sore boobs when poked 6 times a day? Definitely up the duff.

I have done all apart from actually make my mince pies, the mincemeat is done, but I can't be bothered to do the pastry tonight, so that will be the last thing tomorrow. Just have to roll my truffles tonight (vanilla and pistachio, and cointreau) and I am done. Just sitting down with a glass of vino. DH is on his Christmas do. He started at 4 and said he would only stay for a few Xmas Hmm We have a big dog walk planned for tomorroe, so he had better be ok

Night night one and all x

SmegTheHalls · 18/12/2011 13:19

Hi all! Sorry to hear about AF, Munkiii. BUt hey, at least you can eat, drink and be merry without worry!

I'm in awe of all the amazing Christmas prep going on. Maybe, you're a domestic goddess! I'm not - I wrote the last of my cards today and stuck them in the post Xmas Blush Hope they get there in time!

bean I'm glad your DS is feeling better. They do have a tendency to perk up the minute Daddy is around, don't they?! I hope you get a chance to look after yourself now.

I'm going to be a bit lazy and not read back, but suffice to say you are all clearly upduffed, a more glowing and fecund lot I have never seen before!

I'm a bit better. Still feel dodgy, but that may be because I ended up sleeping (not) on DD's bedroom floor last night. Good old separation anxiety, can't wait till she grows out of this one. I haven't been temping or OPK-ing at all this month, I've decided to take a month off. WE're just kicking back and enjoying the festivities and boozing and feasting. I do love Christmas Xmas Smile

beangrower · 18/12/2011 17:14

Maybe - if I wasn't straight and 'otherwise engaged' I would definitely ask you to marry me with that kind of cooking talk. (Actually DP makes lovely food and is v creative about it all too, bless him. But I want your stollen Maybe - does DH say that to you all the time? Xmas Wink) Hope your dog walk went ok btw.

DS is definitely much improved thanks all. But of course DP has returned q seriously unwell after some dodgy sarnie in an African airport. No peace for a wicked bean. I appear to be made of tougher stuff than all the men in this household (though the terrier is definitely toughest of us all).

Hope no one is too hung over and if they are I hope it's been worth every minute.

Olives and Have - we are a trio of preggos.

Good luck with 2x long shifts Olives. Sounds hard work.

Smegs - separation anxiety sounds v tricky. You poor sausage. You need a month off by the sounds of it and anyway you're bound to upduffed because of it.

Luff to everyone.

TheLittleFairyOnTopOfTheTree · 18/12/2011 20:56

OMG I just had to find you all again as the thread had dropped out of "threads i'm on". I lurk every day but I'm not posting much anywhere atm as I'm feeling a bit lost. Don't feel like i'm ready for the antenatal graduate thread yet, and don't really belong here (sob sob, woe is me, get the violins out!)

I've not deserted you though, I'm checking you're all ok everyday xx
