OMG one of the women on another fred has informed me I shouldn't really have had those Lemsips. Apparently it is a big NO. A bit like crack cocaine. Haz I hurt my baybeeeeee?

FFS A lemsip? Seriously??? It wasn't even a Cold & Flu Max Strength.

AuntieDoris · 10/12/2011 20:27

Which fred KitKat?

MadameBoo · 10/12/2011 20:34

If it didn't have decongestant in it it was fine. If it didn't then one is hardly going to cause damage to your baaaybeee. Tell her to Do One.

AuntieDoris · 10/12/2011 20:39

Alps where might one find a wedding pic? Plz?

FrostytheSunshine · 10/12/2011 21:37

Wish you were here Boo! Dinner was v nice. But I am bored of hearing about the new house, amazing job, blah blah blah.

Is lemsip bad for the diffed then?

HaveUrselfAFaithyChristmasBaby · 10/12/2011 21:37

I iz miz tonight..watching xf but it's lame. Drinking flat cider. MSB did make a good lamb bhuna though Xmas Smile

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/12/2011 21:49

Kat, tell her you washed it down with some vodka, prawns, blue cheese and had a line of coke for afters. Then you carried a cake.

I have had to sing in church this evening. Maybe it was the ferociousness of the hangover but it was SO COLD! My lips were blue apparently. Not good for the high notes :( They all repaired to the pub afterwards. I couldn't face even the smell of alcohol so I am now restocking on carbs in front of The Big Bang Theory.

Sounds like the chat I had with my sister and BIL earlier who made a surprise visit to my parents when I was there. I had to freeze my face into a smile. I have never done anything in my life that she hasn't done better. Fact.

What did you sing Rie?

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/12/2011 22:22

Oh you know. Christmas stuff.

I am stuffed now. With Chinese. Nom.

I love carbohydrate.

I don't love those sorts of conversations with smug mothers. Fuck off.

MadameBoo · 10/12/2011 22:38

Have you been amorous with any street furniture today? :o

SantasCave · 10/12/2011 22:53

[clutches stomach]. Urrggghh! I think I've eaten too many rum truffles

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/12/2011 22:57

Boo, you've seen the video - I was obviously Led Astray. It's not my fault :)

Cavey it was the magic card trick one. I've only started watching on E4 recently. It's like Friends used to be - whenever you turn the box on, it's on.

SantasCave · 10/12/2011 23:16

Get someone to buy you the series 1-4 box set (series 5 is on Thursday nights at 8pm-ish at the mo). You won't regret it! Tiz a fabulous show, it's always on in my kitchen while I cook my dinner in the evening Grin

Awayinamangercooper · 11/12/2011 00:10

I love Big Bang Theory!

HaveUrselfAFaithyChristmasBaby · 11/12/2011 07:41

I luff Big Bang too.Thursday we watched the new one and were actually laughing impressive considering MSB was quite grumpy yes, if you've not seen them all I would suggest getting the box set. I think they will become a classic!
I am wide awake! Sunday's are for lie ins?! But MSB is sleeping in after being up early yesterday so I 've left him to it.
Sounds like you lot enjoyed your food last night?!

NortheyPole · 11/12/2011 07:43

I wish I could sleep in! But my brain does not allowj it.

NortheyPole · 11/12/2011 07:47

What does "carried a cake" mean? Is it literally just carrying something and hence endangering the baybee? Or is it a thing like dropping butter dishes and I just don't get it?

That is very garbled.

HaveUrselfAFaithyChristmasBaby · 11/12/2011 07:55

I suspect it is the former..cakes are very heavy Xmas Hmm

HaveUrselfAFaithyChristmasBaby · 11/12/2011 08:11

Mm not quite like enjoying a Cuppa, cookies even if they are gluten free and a treat fromok the rest of a selection box whilst watching Gok on a Sunday, Gok I haven't seen too!

AlpinePony · 11/12/2011 08:34

northey Some made twat provided the ESH with a lot of entertainment through her never-ending pregnancy worries which included, but are not limited to, "I've just carried a cake, it was quite a big one, have I killed my baybee?" , "I've just had an argument with my husband, have I made my baybee deaf?" and "on my M&S risotto it lists an ingredient as white whaine, have I given my baybee foetal alcohol syndrome"? Hmm

I just remembered another BESH fact - we fully approve of the gingers and ginger baybees.

Awayinamangercooper · 11/12/2011 08:43

I was wondering about "carried a cake" too. Thought it must be some secret BESH thing.

Too much to drink last night. No gin tho, just vodka. Bah!

SantasCave · 11/12/2011 09:13

Ah, and there was me assuming "I carried a cake" was like "I carried a watermelon" Grin

Today my plans are to:

A) weed the borders in front of our house (they're embarrassing at the mo Blush)
B) find a missing lever arch file that contains some important stuff for my course. It's in 1 of the 30 or so still unpacked boxes in our garage
C) make a start on my anatomy and physiology (horse) assignment. It's not due to be handed in till 11 Jan but I can't see anything getting done from about 20 Dec till 2 Jan Grin

Droid is very much in residence tis like the Battle of the Somme down there. Ouchy.

Took the first of this cycles Clomid this morning so lots of positive egg-ripening thoughts please Grin

FrostytheSunshine · 11/12/2011 09:18

Cave your day sounds v productive and intelligent. What's your course on? < nosy>

I am going boxing this morning & then going to get a Xmas tree. Then my parents are coming over. With cake. My mum always brings cake. Grin
