And so it begins again.....

Solars I agree as well - count today as day 1, but I am not a Clomid expert so would be worth asking on the other thread. Sorry to hear AF turned up but this will be the last time because now that you are on Clomid this is your month! You can join me in expecting a lovely summery July baby.

Solars · 10/10/2011 10:50

Oh yes Generic a beautiful July baby with a sunny disposition! I have called my GP too and they are going to give me a call back in half an hour, so hopefully will get an answer :)

GenericDietCola · 10/10/2011 11:14
Solars · 10/10/2011 11:24

Just to let you know that GP agreed that I should count today as CD1 but however did say that I should take clomid in the morning, just in case I do get some of the side effects I can monitor them, specifically if I do get the blurred vision then I need to stop taking the tablets and get my eyes checked pronto!! However I am brooking no argument that I will be side effect free on clomid

Generic so did you calculate due date??

How is everyone else?

dreamfeeder · 10/10/2011 11:36

Had my flu jab this morning, sore arm!

Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 11:46
Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 11:47

Sorry - holds DREAM's hair back for her!!

Serious episode of baby brain at the moment - it's a wonder I can put one foot in front of the other at the moment Blush

dreamfeeder · 10/10/2011 11:52

Me too biscuits, me too. I forgot to put DD's shoes on to go out for the flu jab (she was wandering round the gp's waiting room in her WHITE tights...). I tried to put the kette in the microwave (briefly), I put the Dettol in the fridge. Did you ever find your keys?

Feeling a bit better now, thanks! Think this arm will be sore for days! Is swine flu covered in ti? there was no explanation, and I realised way too late I didn't check!!!

Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 12:06

I think swine flu is covered (nbut also didn't check) but I think I read on the nhs website that it is

Keys still MIA - have cut another set from DH's so not feeling the loss any more. I think I've given up hope of finding them - missing presumed lost :( I'm 95% certain they're in the house somewhere so they'll turn up (in 5 years or so probably!) DH went through the rubbish bags for me (gah! [sick]) to check I hadn't put them in the bin!)

Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 12:07

And I've heard that white tights with slightly grey soles are all the rage this season.....

Has your DD stopped doing her face plant falls yet?

scarletfingernail · 10/10/2011 12:20

Swine flu is included in the flu vaccine. Mine's booked for 2 weeks time when I'll be 14 weeks (wanted to get past 12 first, although I was assured it was safe before 12).

So glad it's not just me doing crazy things. I have lost so many things the last couple of weeks, I was in tears when I thought my watch had slipped off my wrist while out. A week later I found it down the side of the sofa. I also made my Mum a cup of gravy last week instead of coffee Grin

Got everything crossed for Solars and Generic laying a happy egg this month and for lovely July babies. FWIW Solars I'd have also said today is CD1.

Have a funny story to share. DS has a new fascination with boobies. Apparently Daddy and DS have no boobies. But Mummy, Grandma and Grandad do have boobies. My Dad is going to be so thrilled to hear that Grin

Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 12:22

Grin at your DS Scarlet - priceless!

TheLittleFriend · 10/10/2011 12:35

I'm another fan of preseed, not that it's produced any results yet. I just like the thought that it might be helping. I just use a tiny bit and don't use the applicator. CD11 here. Nothing of any interest happening.

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 10/10/2011 13:31

Ooh Solars I hope you don't get any horrid symptoms then. I didn't calculate my due date (such restraint!)

Poor Dream re the puking. Is it doubly bad with twins? Yes, how's your DD - can she walk properly now?

Scarlet love that story!

Little when do you think your egg will pop? I'm just using a bit of the Conceive Plus - no idea if it will work really, but it's something new to try and livens things up a bit! Shall we confirm together at the end of Oct? Just in time for Hallowe'en - lovely!

NinjaChipmunk · 10/10/2011 13:42

I'm another Conceive plus user although we just use as a normal lube (so sorry if thats far tmi! Blush). CD18 here so about 4-5 dpo ish as forgot to poas to check. AF due somewhere between 19th and 22nd. But she's not coming. Not this time. Oh no. Not on your nelly. She's been given her marching orders and told not to come back for a long long time.

solars good luck on the clomid. Am keeping everything crossed for you that this is your month.

I have my flu jab booked for sometime in November as I get them through work. I decided not to have it last year and then me and dp got flu for New Years and we all felt terrible so not doing that this year!

Time to eat my snickers bar and have a cup of tea i think.

scarletfingernail · 10/10/2011 13:51

Ninja did you have to mention Snickers?

I'm fantasising now about Snickers and there's nothing I can do about it as DS is asleep in bed Sad

Might have to call DH and ask him to get me one on the way home from work. (note - I can only get away with requests such as this when pregnant).

NinjaChipmunk · 10/10/2011 14:49

[grin} sorry scarlet but on the plus side you should get your dp to get you as many tasty bits and bobs as you can get away with between now and when the baby is a few months old (those first few months are so tiring that you'll need him to carry on doing it!).
Although I am envious of you being at home with a napping DS. My DS no longer naps so our days are hectic when I am there. And I am at work today doing many not very exciting admin tasks.

dreamfeeder · 10/10/2011 16:48

Hello, feeling much better this afternoon! Barely noticing my jabbed arm either.

DD is indeed walking very confidently and not falling over like a plank. Such a relief, it's made things so much easier. She's totally unfazed by slopes, small steps, gravel etc etc, so does still need a huge amount of chasing as shes a bit more conffident than her skills...Oh,and she still cant pull to stand at furniture but can get up from the floor from the middle of a room, daft child!

Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 16:51

Ah Dream so glad you're feeling better this afternoon.

And glad DD is coming on so quickly, She's very good for only just having turned 1. DS seemed to take forever. From about 11 months everyone said 'oooh, he won't be long now til he's walking' and he managed to drag it out to 15 months before he did any steps on his own lazy little tyke. Still he's got the hang of it now I guess!

DizzyKipper · 10/10/2011 17:03

Ok I guess I'll have to be good and wait 'til at least Friday before testing.
No plans for tomorrow, out to work from 7am, have a 2 hour gap in the afternoon and then working 'til 8pm - not the funnest birthday but then I get 2 days off to revel in Grin

Good to hear your temp has spiked Popcorn, let the 2ww commence.

Glad OH's surprise party went well Solars, well done for being able to pull it off! Also I'd heard that CD1 is supposed to be the first day of proper flow, so I'd count it from today.

Heehee
Are flu jabs required when you're pregnant?

Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 17:08

Oh yes I forgot to say well done on the surprise party Solars

Dizzy I think flu jabs are recommended - pregnantos are one of the 'at risk' groups who get the jab offered on the NHS, and I've heard horror stories about preggos ending up in a terrible way in hospital just from the flu.

Hope tomorrow goes ok, albeit a bit workish, but then yay to 2 days off - make sure you spoil yourself then :)

DizzyKipper · 10/10/2011 17:14

Thanks Biscuits Smile.

Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 17:16

Dizzy Don't give the pee sticks the satisfaction, If Friday would make you possibly 11 dpo even that is still quite early to get a positive - be strong and eat chocolate

DizzyKipper · 10/10/2011 17:21

Grin I'll try to stay strong, and may tell OH to hide them from me for now.

Biscuitsandtea · 10/10/2011 17:28

I'm a big advocate of waiting until at least af is due before testing (saved me a bloody fortune in tests as I never needed them Sad)

But I know lots of others are early testers and I'm sensing you might be more in that camp Dizzy?
