Sorry to hear the evil witch caught up with you stasi, however a honeymoon baby does sound perfect. It was what me and OH had originally planned (before our lives went haywire that is), although we are now talking about the possibility of a wedding again (though on a much smaller scale) before the little one arrives. Also I used pre-seed last cycle and it's also the cycle I got my BFP - so I personally have a bias towards it
.
Munk waiting until CD40 before cracking open a cheapie sounds very restrained indeed, what day are you on currently?
Also I concur with scream, until your little one has implanted there is no way alcohol can get into its system. Knowing when s/he's implanted is another matter - I think it can range from anywhere between 3-12 days after conception has taken place, but on average is around 9 days (don't hold me to those numbers though!). At first I abstained, but it's hard to do this when life keeps getting you down and conception is not being fruitful, so then I tended to avoid the 2ww in the end instead. However the important thing to me is knowing that 1 drink or 2 is not ultimately going to cause irrevocable harm to your little one - so long as you're not knocking it back like there's no tomorrow then you shouldn't beat yourself up about it.
Hi there, life does get busy doesn't it? I found when trying to arrange my midwife booking in appointment that the surgery won't schedule it until 6 weeks after I called them, so I have to wait 'til I'm 10 weeks before seeing her (I'm hoping there'll be a scan at the same time!). I'm assuming it's to give all us pregnant women who phone them time to MC first so we don't unnecessarily waste their time (which I get the thinking behind but still felt a little
at the thought of it). It might be worth phoning your surgery to see if they have similar policies.
Hope you have a good time at the wedding reception musicalmrs, and I'm also in the crampy club.
shiny seeing as you're going to your inlaws in the evening I think you should just test Friday morning. That's only 1-2 days before AF is due so with a FR you have a reasonable chance of getting an accurate result.
