marathon x-post! Glad to hear all well with you and that you've been able to venture out shopping! I have a bag of mat clothes in the loft which I'd already bought last time and just couldn't face taking back (I did take a couple of things back but with each 'what's the reason for your return?' question I was getting more upset so just bagged them and put them away for 'future' use so am looking forward to fishing some bits out, bra's etc, soon I think given progress in 'that' area Blush) Here's your stats in the list:

Also totally agree with marathon that the PMA encouragement has really helped and I think this thread is totally fab! Has been such a life line over the last few months so just want to say a big THANK YOU to you all!!!

Summerbird73 · 21/09/2011 11:25

yayayayayaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

thanks v muchly i will have a cookie with my tea Grin

i can highly recommend ASOS for some lovely maternity gear, i got a really classy evening dress when i was PG with DS, it served me well for a couple of decent nights out.

marathon glad you had a lovely birthday, it is so exciting when the bona fide bump arrives

pebs fingers crossed for temp rises - yayyy

Missgiraffe1 · 21/09/2011 12:03

Blue toast is my friend, so I'll have some of that with my Brew thanks. Seem to be off sweet stuff Shock . We like dark lines! That's good to hear. I need to buy a dress for my FIL's wedding which is 4 weeks on Friday. Although I seriously doubt I'd be showing by then, the rapid bread consumption rate fact I am eating a bit more than normal means I am likely to have put on weight. Think I'm going to make an appointment with the personal shopper in Debenhams again, on the Saturday before the wedding, then do accessory shopping on the Sunday Smile

Marathon you're back! Sounds like you had a nice birthday. Happy belated birthday from the giraffes Smile . How exciting you're showing! I am so bloated after dinner. It feels like the several loaves of bread food I eat during the day saves itself up to join my dinner and create a massive evening bloat. Lovely.

Summer creamy CM and nausea Hmm Lol to you moshing about in there! Who's there with you?? Where are our other 2ww-ers??

Pebs welcome back. Sorry to hear still no AF, although at least she didn't spoil your holiday (and at least you still have sense of humour though [smile) FX the temp rises mean Ov!

Well, I went to bodypump for the first time since finding out. I spoke to the instructor, and she said it is perfectly safe for me to continue as I've been doing it for 2 years. But she advised I drop my weights (which I did, quite a bit) go easy on the squats, and to truct my own instincts. I was very conscious of not over-heating or getting out of breath so I didn't work anywhere near as hard as I usually would, but I still found it really tough. I was knackered! I don't want to stop exercising, and have googled loads, and read the official Les Mills pregnancy guide (and the other instructor had a baby a few months ago and she was doing classes until 3 weeks before she popped!) but I'm just wondering if this is a really a good idea?? Suppose it's an individual choice at the end of the day.

babysaurus · 21/09/2011 12:18

Very quick post as its DH's birthday and we are off out shortly.

Hello to the newbies - I too am sorry you had to join us, but hope we can help you with your hand holding and general morale!

Hello to everyone else! Not much to report really. I suspect this may be ov week so am trying to make the most of it, but it's not that easy as we are both exhausted with all the house stuff! I also haven't told DH it's ov week as I don't want it to become a big deal. Last time we only managed the Monday and the Wednesday and that was enough so hopefully we can be lucky this time too (well, luckier as last time didn't exactly go to plan.)

Right, must dash. Am reading the thread on and off on my phone even if not posting much.

Summerbird73 · 21/09/2011 12:30

it was pie with the creamy CM - i just had the nausea, although now i am troffing like a pig!! Grin

PieMistress · 21/09/2011 12:52

still have lots of creamy CM but am under incredible stress at work just now (hence brief post) so worried that even if I was up the duff then the stress will stop the bean implanting! Only 8dpo today will get CD21 results today too fingers crossed they are better than last month!

ShimmeryPixie · 21/09/2011 18:38

Congratulations blue that's fantastic.

Congrats also to MissG . I understand that you are fine to continue with exercise (unless it makes you feel bad) so long as you've been doing it a while. Taking up new things is now allowed (hence I keep going to the gym despite inherent laziness in the hope that I can continue when I finally succeed).

I'm due on tomorrow, so we shall see. I expect to be on time however - I have zero zilch and nada in the way of symptoms.

The cat was getting better. He then got let out against and was in another fight (and lost again). So following the two operations he has now had - my credit card is £500 lighter in the space of a few weeks :( and he is going to have to learn the joys of being an indoor cat.

Sorry for the absence - work remains a bit mental. Currently sitting at my desk waiting for my boss to be free enough to have a meeting with me...

's all a bit quiet on here....

Morning all - just wanted to say still no Ovulation. Now CD32. Bah! Forehead getting ever spottier so hoping it happens soon or I really will start looking like a teenager (and not in a good way!)

Frustrating doesn't even come close. Still I suppose I should chill out about it a bit, stress isn't going to help anything along is it. In the grand scheme of things when I do finally get pg again a few days, weeks or months here or there won't make a difference if you see what I mean.

Just noticed from the stats Marathon and IQ your due dates are very close to mine when I had DS - he was 15th March (but not born until 2 weeks later). I just wanted to say that this was a brilliant time to be pg - you stay all cosy over the winter with your lovely bump and then when you are at your biggest the weather is still cool enough for you to stay comfortable and then by the time your baby arrives it is starting to look like Spring - lovely! Smile

Anyone for some Brew and lovely healthy porridge? (followed by not so healthy toast and jam of course Wink )

Summerbird73 · 22/09/2011 09:10

oooh poppy you are my kind of breakfast lady. DS and i love our porridge followed by toast in the morning. it is even more warming in the autumn/winter time!

how frustrating for you poppy i have no idea what to suggest other than some serious moshing and that vip ticket to the padded cell Angry

incidentally i am going to set up a new thread now as we are nearing 1000. Back in a bit!

Summerbird73 · 22/09/2011 09:14

over here ladies - come on come on!

Summerbird73 · 22/09/2011 09:14

new thread

BlueCrane · 22/09/2011 09:26

poppy Brew porridge, toast and jam sounds great, but I may need to add some prunes to the mix as the pregnacare and little bean are causing a similar problem to that which IQ suffered from Blush Everyone always says to chill and relax and it'll help but I know that's easier said than done...hopefully the spots mean there's hormones busy at work about to do something!!

shimmery thanks for the congrats...it's still sinking in TBH though with boobs getting ever more sore the reality is starting to hit! Any sign of AF for you this morning? Have you tested? Sorry to hear work still so so manic for you!

summer how are you doing? Still hanging in there? No signs of AF yet? You keep on moshing away!!

pie are you in the mosh pit with shimmery and summer too? How are you doing? Hope you've all got your matching June hoodie's on? Sending lots of PMA into that metalling room today!!

manda how are you feeling today? Really hope you're doing ok and managing to keep up the PMA...I'm managing to stick with it at the moment though each day feels like an eternity...still only 4+2 today...told myself this morning that when I get to 5 weeks I'll be an 8th of the way there so you're well past that now Smile

missg is it this weeked you're down to London for your hen do? Have you worked out your excuses yet? We've decided to tell parents next weekend and 2 sets of close friends, but will then wait until after 12w scan before anyone else though after the 8w scan I may acidentally slip up with a couple of my girlie friends I'm sure bodypump is fine providing you don't overdo it! I went to the gym for the first time on months on Saturday and was v careful just in case I was pregnant (didn't know at that point) am going to try and go swimming on Saturday as really want to get into some form of regular exercise and figure if I start gently now then I should be ok!? I used to go to the gym regularly but my membership has expired and I don't see the point in renewing it just now in case I can't use it v much!

IQ hope you're enjoying your week off and taking things easy over in IQ land!

pebs, baby, eve

Work still quiet so more time for sorting my desk out and doing filing catching up on mumsnet and trying to look busy

Boobeez · 27/09/2011 07:26

Hey girls! Haven't been on for a while! Went to doc yesterday and was told I couldn't have an early scan or any blood tests to check things out :( doc was v unhelpful and said she didn't envy me going through this grim time. Err thanks then! Currently 6+3 today and feeling nervous. Due date 19th May. Congrats to blue! Great news! And Manda -looks like we're pretty close with our dates! Hey to everyone else :0) xxx
