Hi all, just checking in quickly before bed to say thanks so much for your lovely thoughts yesterday - we wrote our note and sent our balloons off into the night sky after work. mrwellie cried quite a bit actually, I think it hit him because I think he's had the whole thing "in a box" for months and not really thought about it and it kinda brought it all back. In a strange way I am almost glad that I am not pg yet, because I feel like now I can properly move on.

Hope you are all ok and thanks so much again :) will check in properly tomorrow, hugs and waves to everyone xxx

wombatinwaiting · 21/06/2011 17:23

Ah wellie - you almost made me cry too. Hope mrwellie is doing ok and glad to read that it has brought you some sort of closure - big hugs x

Star82 · 21/06/2011 18:43

A very quick post here as in car on I phone and the 3G's drifting off a bit.
Just been for private scan and saw one sac with a little bean in and a heart beat. So relieved but also worrying I've got another month before I see it again so now worrying something will happen in the interim!!! I'm cleary gonna be a nightmare. He just did an abdominal scan and measured at 7+1 but I think I'm 7+5 so we'll see if it changes as time goes by.

Wormshuffler · 21/06/2011 20:08

Great news star .............and relax!!! I still havn't even seen mine and I'm getting on for 11 weeks!!
I hope you are now able to both move on wellie and I also felt :( when I read your post.

yellowtomato · 21/06/2011 21:07

Hello ladies

wellie sounds like a difficult day, hope you did manage to find some kind of peace and closure.

Glad I'm not the only one eating a lot, I had 3 Danish pastries today!

So the day is done and I wasn't sick on anyone! Was a very long day, not sure if it went ok or not but the evening meal was so painful I really thought I was going to be sick. I left early which I shouldn't have as I was hosting but I just couldn't take it anymore.

Got a 1 to 1 with big boss tomorrow and rest of big meeting in the afternoon then thurs should be better.

Thanks for all your thoughts/support, I really appreciate it.

star great scan news!

Good luck all those who swi and it is true me and dp were having trouble being in the same country at the right time and the time that worked we only did it once at the right time! It only takes one!

Re saliva I believe it is ok as long as you are not pouring with spit it should be ok!

Am laying on the sofa now so feeling a little better, didn't eat much but feel hungry and sick right now Envy (sick face)

wombatinwaiting · 22/06/2011 07:12

He he at your descrip of "pouring with spit" yellow - is that a technical term?! V glad to hear that all went well on Monday and hope the rest of the week proves to be the same and you can take it a wee bit easier. How are you feeling about scan date?

So pleased you got to see the bean with hb star Smile - don't forget you can always get another private scan if a month is too long to wait.

STill massively impressed with your patience worm, particularly with all the other scans happening around you!

Waves to all! x

yellowtomato · 22/06/2011 08:13

Tbh am shitting myself about the scan. Too busy to think about it during the day so lie awake at night and wake up early to panic. Am sleeping less than 6 hours which isn't helping the sickness!

Am at work now eating hula hoops! Feel v sick and very nearly was earlier.

mrsb33 how are you?

wellieboots · 22/06/2011 13:43

So sorry everyone, didn't mean to make you Sad!!!

I had just meant to say thanks for your hugs and support on Monday, we both really appreciated it and I was able to share with DH some of what you had said and how much support I had got from you, particularly over the last few days, but for a long time now.

Anyway - hope everyone is well. ((((yellow)))) hugs for scan nerves - we're all with you
yay for the hb star - fab news!!
when is your scan worm?
hope everyone else is ok - waves to wombat, mrsb, harassed, marathon emma and anyone else!!

MarathonMama · 22/06/2011 14:12

Spitting in my fanjo, now that's foreplay Wink

emmaandthestar · 22/06/2011 21:00

Hello, we are doing pretty well on the SWI front - have to keep it up (literally for DH) until Sunday! Blood tests are on Tuesday to find out if I ovulated... If I didn't I will be p**d off to say the least.

Star so please you saw a HB - that's lovely.
Yellow big scan hugs from me too - thinking of you...

Marathon whatever floats your boat ;)

wombatinwaiting · 23/06/2011 07:13

He he marathon - sounds like you and worm and mrsb are in the same club! Wink Grin

Well done emma and mremma on your SWI efforts - keep going...!

Aw wellie - you are sweet. Just sad for you and mrwellie - I know what you mean about the hugs and support from everyone here - there are times I'm not sure I would have got through things without all the help and kind words. Hope you guys aren't planning any travels soon with all that ash cloud business....

18 weeks today which almost seems impossible. Bump still small in the mornings but looking like podge so desperate to get a proper bump and feel some sort of flutterings..... patience wombat!

MarathonMama · 23/06/2011 13:38

Awww wombat in a few months time you'll be desperate for the bump to go! When's your dd? It must be around the time I was due (19th Nov)

I got a Smile on the opk this morning. So annoying as DH is away until Sat. We dtd on Tues so just hoping for some super sperm!

Good luck Emma, hope it's your month.

Wormshuffler · 23/06/2011 16:00

Hi everyone,

Damn it on the + opk marathon but the swimmers can last for 4 days don't they!

18 weeks wombat thats flying by! (although you think differently I am sure!)

Ah wellie don't worry we only felt sad for you, now's the time for onwards and upwards (oooeeerr)! My scan is on 5th July 12 days and counting! Iv'e got take that next tuesday which will break up the wait a little!

I've had a lovely afternnon, DS was running for the school so lots of jumping up and down shouting and being generally embarassing. He came forth (was robbed, robbed i tell you) , school came second over-all so a good result.

I hope you are ok yellow it's scan day tomorrow for you? I have it all crossed, have a really good feeling for you.

Waves to harassed, Emma, star, sparkly and any peeping toms :)

wombatinwaiting · 23/06/2011 16:09

I'm sure you're absolutely right about that one marathon - I will look back and laugh at such an inane comment! DD is 24 Nov, so very close to yours.

Buggery bugger re the Smile on the OPK but as worm says, sometimes they're turbosperm Grin

Sounds like a really fun afternoon worm - I can get really competitive so I have no doubt I will embarass myself enormously when miniwombat is old enough to start competing in sporting events!

Thinking of you yellow and hoping that you've got lots on to distract you prior to tomorrow - what time is it?

Waves to all! x

yellowtomato · 23/06/2011 21:30

Thanks for the thoughts ladies, scan is at 9.40am. Am very worried but also feeling very sick indeed.

Might have to go to bed

mrsb33 · 23/06/2011 21:48

Just popping in to say hello, and wish the lovely yellow the best for tomorrow
Iam around but kinda lurking and busy with work so please forgive me for not doing any personal messages updates.

OP posts:
Star82 · 24/06/2011 07:31

Just wanted to wish yellow lots and lots of luck for a few hours time. We'll all be thinking of you.
Only just dragging myself out of bed.....feel so tired so think I need earlier nights. Meant to be gym day but really would much rather go back to sleep which I may well do :)

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 07:49

Thank you ladies. Feel so sick at the moment am still in bed, still hoping all this sickness is a good sign.

Will update as soon as I can.

Sparklywine · 24/06/2011 08:22

Oooh, good luck Yellow, thinking of you x
Have been off work, got a friend over from Sydney so am entertaining. We're off to Sheffield today for a memory lane trip and some shopping, hoping to find some clothes that fit. So glam! Like Wombat, I've just got podge, but very noticeable. Feeling very content though, it's lovely.
Waves to all x

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 10:41

All good, measuring exactly 8+1 and they gave me a picture. Must rush to work now.

MarathonMama · 24/06/2011 10:50

Great great news yellow Grin

Sparkly I went to uni in Sheffield and bloody love it! Have fun!

Got a sick dd here so typing one handed with dd curled up in the other arm watching the Postman Pat theme tune on the telly for about the 50th time. It's going to be a loooong day....

Star82 · 24/06/2011 12:19

Yay Yellow!! Does that put you beginning Feb then like me i guess?

Sparkly, oooh, you're about 10/15 mins away from me there :). I went for my early scan in Sheffield actually, down Fulwood Road at the BMI hospital there. Have fun.

yellowtomato · 24/06/2011 13:02

Yeh, dd 3rd feb!

Feeling v relieved but also v sick and then worried again that it can still go wrong! Never happy am I?

Good news is hospital said I can have my care there so wouldn't have to go to group appointment. Hurrah.

mrsb33 well done for booking appt. My advice would be to go in there with an idea of what you want and some written questions. I always get flustered otherwise. I guess blood tests to check ovulation would be a good start.

Emma fingers crossed for super sperm!

Hope you are having lovely Fridays everyone!

wellieboots · 24/06/2011 15:09

Sorry for post and run - on way to bed, but just wanted to check in on yellow - YAY!!! Grin Grin Grin - SO excited for you
