Ooohhh meeting up with someone wombat ..............yellow could you get your people to check this person out so we know our wombat isn't getting groomed please...........
Thanks for asking about the pains, I havn't had any more of the really painful top tummy type ones, I do get low down pains, but not in deep like AF, more like stretching I think/hope. I will check with the midwife as I have had 2 CS so there is always the worry of uterine rupture.....
I'm none the wiser on these peg trouser things either.........think you will have to do a clever linky thing sparkly
Pleased the travel bands are doing the trick for you yellow long may it last, with maybe just a tinge of sickness for reassurance sake.
Shame you don't live around here you guys with childcare problems, my BF has just set up as a childminder and needs kids!
That sucks about the clothes emma leave them where they are and I hope you get to use them soon.
Hope you are all having a nice weekend.

wombatinwaiting · 27/06/2011 07:44

I know - it all feels a bit odd! Plus it may be one of those odd things where we realise we have nothing to talk about Blush and there are tumbleweed moments....! Bit like a blind date really although I think her DH will be there too, so a bit of a strange blind date Hmm

Really glad to hear the pains have subsided worm -are you still feeling a bit sick? Uterine rupture sounds horribly painful....

I had a lovely white wine spritzer last night and for the first time in ages had a brilliant night's sleep - hope it was just coincidence!

Waves to all and leaves out hot buttered crumpets for those with the stomach for them! x

pantsandpup · 27/06/2011 09:12

Hi girls,

Sorry I didn't back on over the weekend. I had a pretty crap weekend thanks to not so "d" h and not so "d" sd. Think I need to get back over to the Steps board..... Hmm.

MrsB I completely understand why you need a break. It's so mentally and physically exhausting. After two mc's so close together I was wondering how much more I could put my family through, so this one was our last go.

yellow Are you telling your boss today?? I think you should tell him what you feel comfortable with, however don't feel like you need to justify it..... these things happen. My boss was ok-ish. Said I'm a bloody nuisance which I think he's only half joking about, and when he said he was going to have to pay me a load of money for doing nothing any ounce of sympathy vanished!

wombat I get the impression L is very lovely and bubbly....I can't see any tumbleweed moments Grin. don't forget to report back!!

sparkly we're the same height but I'm fatter (14-16) and older (40)!!!

emma that's rubbish about the clothes... I really hope you get to use them soon x

worm that really does sound like stretching pains. I'm getting very sore ones if I over stretch or reach in weird way.

I've had a rubbish nights sleep. If I was an ice lolly I'd be a puddle on the floor!!! And dd woke up with tummy ache......

I def felt some movement last night too. I've had the odd is it/isn't it fluttering, but this def was.

wombatinwaiting · 27/06/2011 09:46

Ooh pants - am v happy that you felt movement but have to admit to being Envy too. As sparkly will tell you, I'm not know for my patience and so am drumming my fingers waiting for these flutterings I keep being promised...... Hope the steps issue resolves itself....

I wonder if you might think about selling on those clothes on e-bay emma - almost a guarantee of a bfp, oh and get a new job while you're at it and book a really expensive holiday just to make sure Smile

mrsb33 · 27/06/2011 10:03

Ladys just popping back in to say been to docs today, am now booked in for an interal exam next week, day 21 bloods, pelvic ultra sound and seman tests. So whoop whoop! Fingers crossed we can start to get answers now. He also said its beens proved that charting and scientifically managing fertility can dry up and clog up cervical mucus!! So there's my problem straight away! Lol

wombatinwaiting · 27/06/2011 13:39

Soooo pleased to hear that mrsb - well done to you for being so proactive and geting all those tests done - nice one! Very interesting to hear re: the clogging up of CM Shock.

Lovely to see you again x

yellowtomato · 27/06/2011 13:45

Hello ladies

Good news is that the bands still seem to be working! Hurrah

mrsb33 that is an excellent result, hopefully you feel a bit better from taking action?

pants sorry you had a crap weekend, hopefully the week is better. As I'm feeling well now, I'm putting off telling my boss! I'm 5ft 3 and 14-16 ! I didnt sleep well either, too hot.

Emma hope wed goes well , opk's never worked for me.

wombat I think it'll be weird her dp is there, mine would not approve of all the sharing! Dont worry, she checked out ok!

pantsandpup · 27/06/2011 13:53

A complete tosser stranger has just asked me if I have a couple of months left.........

Dh has obviously finally realised I'm really fed up with him and is taking dd and I away Sat evening (grand-daughters 2nd birthday tea in the afternoon) and to do something lovely on the Sunday to celebrate dd's 5th birthday.

mrsb that's great!!! Well done you.

yellow glad you're feeling better Grin.

Wormshuffler · 27/06/2011 16:21

Chatty bunch today!!
How lovely that you are feeling movements pants, don't be dis-heartened about not feeling them wombat, with second/third/forth PG's they usually feel earlier movements, something to do with us being previously stretched and more sensitive inside I believe.
Great news about getting a helpful doc mrsb Grin
I like wombats idea abut organising things to make sod's law come into effect! Booking a ski holiday would definately do it for all you still TTC.
While we are all sharing our sizes I am 5'1 and 12-14 top half (when not pg) and 14-16 bottom half, what you would call a classid pear shaped.
Horrah for seabands yellow
Scan in 8 days Grin I'm off to see take that tomorrow Grin Grin

wombatinwaiting · 28/06/2011 06:40

Oooooh - am v Envy at your take that date worm! Enjoy every second and blow them a kiss from me - where is it?

Hurrah for travel sickness bands yellow and thanks for checking out the meet-up today Wink although I'm yet to hear back from a text I sent....

Been running around trying to get water and electric sorted for new and old villa - stupidly complicated and haven't even thought about phone / internet yet....

V glad to hear that DH has come around pants and what a lovely treat to look forward to this weekend. I still chuckle that you're a grandmum at the ripe old age of 40!

While on sizes - I seem to be towering over you all at 5'5"! 10-12 for about the last year and a half after really focusing on getting down from a 14-16 (surprised myself by how much I enjoyed exercising properly) however I'm sure that's all going to go out the window once junior arrives..... Hmm currently perfecting the pie-muncher look very well.....

Waves to all x

Wormshuffler · 28/06/2011 09:14

Thanks wombat the concert is in Birmingham at Aston Villa ground, am dreading the drive home though I am usually aslepp by 9pm! I actually think Internet would have been on My list before water and electric!
I look huge today, people are noticing but not saying, I quite like having a secret! We are going to a christening on Sunday, DH's family, I have no idea how I am going to get away with that one all my dresses show a podge or don't fit........Technically I will be 12 weeks by then but would still like to wait for the scan next tuesday Grin good job i have a little patience.......... (see what I did there )?

wombatinwaiting · 28/06/2011 10:04

Oh yes - I'm sure you'll have the greatest day at the christening for babe - will you pray? I hope the sun will shine and that the boring bits only take a minute Grin grin] and Blush - clearly have too much time on my hands!!

harassedandherbug · 28/06/2011 14:32

Me with another new name... couldn't get on with the last one!

worm I am Envy at your TT tickets!! I couldn't get any. Have a lovely time though.

Wombat has your meeting gone ahead????

yellowtomato · 28/06/2011 16:42

Just a quick moan from me, am feeling so tired and bloated today, am really struggling to work. Really wish I could lay down!

wombatinwaiting · 29/06/2011 07:25

Aw - sorry to hear you're feeling such a rotten tomato yellow (sorry - couldn't resist!) - any better today? I guess the heat probably isn't helping much.

Very quiet on this thread - I assume everyone is melting and eating ice lollies?

Soooo, I met up with the mner from the freak out thread and it was lovely! We were able to share our fears and hopes and didn't touch on any secrets that have been shared on-line already Grin. What it has done is make me want to meet you ladies even more - would it ever be possible do you think?

yellowtomato · 29/06/2011 08:02

ahhhh wombat thank you. Feeling a bit worse today, think it is tiredness as I don't get home until 10 pm in Monday and have acu at 8 am tues and never really catch up. I'm sure meeting up can be arranged, didn't you say you'll be in London next month?

Emma good luck for blood tests today.

Waves to all!

wombatinwaiting · 29/06/2011 10:36

Oh poor you yellow - any chance of working from home? Dare I ask how the essay writing is going? Can you get an extension?

I will indeed be in the London area from around 18th to 22nd July so if anyone fancies it, let me know!

Well remembered on emma's blood tests - you may officially take over as Queen of Spreadsheets! Grin. Good luck emma - let us know how you go.

harassedandherbug · 29/06/2011 10:54

Morning!

I'm at my parents doing their cleaning. It's lovely!! Not lol.

yellow I reckon its tiredness too, I was always much worse when tired. Any chance of a long weekend?

wombat glad the meet went well, it sounds lovely. Will bear those dates in mind.

emma good luck for your results x

wellieboots · 29/06/2011 11:30

Waves to marathon, wombat and everyone else!

MarathonMama · 29/06/2011 14:35

Hello ladies!

Just to apologise, I'm still lurking but haven't got anything very exciting to say so am enjoying your news instead. I think I'm 5dpo but not expecting anything this month so am patiently waiting for next month instead.

Good to hear that some of you are feeling sick, bloated, etc etc, in a good way of course.

Mrsb glad you're getting checked, here's hoping for good news soon.

Worm I am soooo jealous, how was TT? I've seen photos of the big man thingy and it looks amazing.

If we're doing vital stats, I'm 23, 5'8" a size 8/10 on top (big boobs) and a 6 on the bottom... Grin. I wish. I'm 5'6", and size 10-12 all over.

Wormshuffler · 29/06/2011 16:35

Hi girls
Well I am back from my night of squeeling, we managed to get a good spot close to the stage and had a fab time, thankfully the sickness kept at bay all night and I was able to enjoy it. I am paying for it today though! been sicker than ever today, I do a job where I have to sell in to independant shops, and I had to puke in one of their toilets today, thanks god it was in one of my nice villages, as some of the shops I go in there is no way I would ask to use their toilet! The chap was everso nice about it, gave me a drink, I told him the reason (didn't want him to think I was hungover)! and he was full of congratulations. Now just been left with a splitting headache and came home at lunch and went to bed for the afternnon.

Nice to see you wellie sending good job vibes your way............it's a sure fire bfp if you find your dream job.

marathon full swing on the 2ww for you , it's all crossed here for you.

Pleased to see you are back as harrased that's what you will always be to us!! hope you are putting your feet up now after being a scrubber cheeky Grin.

Glad the meet up was good fun and not awkward, as for us meeting up, sounds great to me. I could only do the Friday, I'm getting on for an hour and a half away from kings cross, so lunch could be do-able. I'm not sure what DH would make of it, think he would worry that I am meeting up with some greasy 50 year old internet perv, so we would have to come up with a way of proving we are who we say we are prior, maybe facebook if any of you do that?

Hang on in there yellow your half way throught the worst bit, home straight to 12 weeks, keep yer chin(s) [wink) up :)

Hello to sparkly emma *mrsb (hope you are ok) everyone else sorry if I have forgotten anyone, don't think it means anything............I have been calling My DS my DH's name for a week! too early for PG brain?

I think you will have to press the report button, and ask for it to be deleted, just in case there are any weirdo's who would add you and pretend to be someone else [suspicious emotion]
