Ariesgirl · 26/06/2011 17:39

Whenever I see/write the phrase "three bars and an egg" I hear the tune of Brown Girl In The Ring. All together now Three bars and an egg, tra lah lah lah la....

thelittlefriend · 26/06/2011 20:19

allhailtheaubergine · 27/06/2011 05:23

pommedechocolat · 27/06/2011 08:50

Another faint line on an frer this am. Off to get more tests later. Not going to get fully excited until there's a nice strong line... Bit excited though!
Have you told your friends yet aubers?

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 27/06/2011 09:28

A line is a line Pomme so we will be excited for you Smile

I have decided that I have ovulated for the month so I am now def pregnant and will brook no arguement!

allhailtheaubergine · 27/06/2011 11:36

Would you like to join me on The Bench of Disbelief Pomme?

Haven't told a soul. Well, other than my husband and a few hundred randoms on the internet.

Got another + on a boots one. But am worried that as so early risk of a chem pg (af due Thurs) but also I am supposed to call my docs when I have a bfp as need to change drugs by 6 weeks pg at the very latest.

I have only told dh and dd (15 months so just made a cow noise at me which is not unappropriate).
And like you, the internet...

maybebabyR · 27/06/2011 11:49

Ah, pomme! I go away for a few days and look what happens!! So pleased for you. Hope that was slightly more encouraging than farmyard noises Grin

allhailtheaubergine · 27/06/2011 13:13

Well done hiding. That's the spirit. Brook No Argument. You should probably have a sit down in your condition. Would you like a gherkin?

OP posts:
thelittlefriend · 27/06/2011 13:16

Good work hiding. Despite what my fecking opk sticks tell me, I have decided I will conceive tonight.

pommedechocolat · 27/06/2011 13:31

opks are no match for this thread littlefriend.
Thanks maybe :)

allhailtheaubergine · 27/06/2011 13:35

My stupid pissy stick opk never actually admitted I was ovulating. I clambered on anyway and Brooked No Argument.

OP posts:
LoveInAColdClimate · 27/06/2011 13:58

Ooooh, thelittlefriend, I am also planning on conceiving tonight, after my acupunture appointment. I will let no argument stand in my way. I feel I should be standing on some kind of podium, perhaps wearing a cloak of some description, with one hand held over my heart and another waving a flag. I see myself as a sort of amalgamation of Britannia, Joan of Arc and Scarlet O'Hara...

mememummy · 27/06/2011 14:03

I am going to get preggers this month no matter what, even if i have no af, or if the opk says im not laying eggs i will be pregnant, let the rat smacking and clambering on commence... this thread seems to be very lucky... congrats pomme and aubers

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 27/06/2011 14:46

ooo...thank you aubers. I love gherkins! Though everytime I buy them I do wonder if people think I must be pregnant Smile

Love perhaps we need some king of rousing ( arousing ?) anthem or motivational chant.

That's the spirit meme! Go find your rat and smack it good Grin

havealittlefaithbaby · 27/06/2011 18:07

Excellent news, I've just conceived.

pommedechocolat · 27/06/2011 18:13

Ooo live sexing updates. As good as Wimbledon this.

LoveInAColdClimate · 27/06/2011 18:42

Perhaps we could get the sexing updates into some kind of RSS feed? Am just off for my acupuncture appointment, following which I will immediately be pregnant, although I might do some sexing as well just to be sure.

havealittlefaithbaby · 27/06/2011 19:03

Continuing the positive thinking, should we imagine the swimmers on their journey?!

thelittlefriend · 27/06/2011 19:14

blimey Have, I was going to wait until the temp dropped a little before clambering on, but maybe I should call my dp in here now.

thelittlefriend · 27/06/2011 19:53

allhail did you scrap the opk's in the end? I am thinking of doing this. In fact, a quick question for all you who are also brooking no argument. Do any of you also always get a negative?

havealittlefaithbaby · 27/06/2011 19:57

Always! I don't bother with them! I just temp and check my cervix and fluid.
Hop on little friend! Obviously we will get pregnant this month but we have to give mother nature every opportunity! :)

Purplebuns · 27/06/2011 20:06

Hi, I will be definitely getting pregnant next month, this month's tactic has been goading Murphy and His Law, so it won't have happened this month
I know I am early just getting a head start as I am on CD 22 and so I am almost in the month where I DEFINITELY get pregnant. Is it ok if join you? :)

CalypsoFramboise · 27/06/2011 20:26

Yay, congrats and salt & vinegar crisps to all positives (and other pate & brie nibbles of the non-pg craving variety for the rest of us).

Despite being very firmly decided upon conception last month, I'm back here on CD11. It would seem that my ability to read my CM is as shonky as haruspicy; I think I put 'slimy' down for every day Hmm
However I've just bought some OPKs and now consensus here is that they don't seem to be worth it either? My temping is too eratic (getting up many times a night for a toddler), and my cats don't like me. What's a girl to do? And don't say more sexing...

ps: good luck with the thesis submission bloofer

maybebabyR · 27/06/2011 20:55

I love this idea have like some kind of meditation, no? Soothing music to which the sperm make their epic journey. I like this.

Hi purple with that attitude, you are most definitely already pregnant!

Seconding calypso with the good luck bloofer
